He truly has a heart of gold and was incredibly accommodating. The room cleanliness was also on point, thanks to the hardworking housekeeping staff. They ensured that everything was clean. We stayed at this place and was impressed by the exceptional service, especially from the receptionist. Upon checking in, we encountered a tense situation as a homeless man entered the lobby, and we were quite frightened. Without hesitation, the receptionist, though small in looks, immediately stepped in front of us, showing immense courage and professionalism. He handled the situation with such kindness, offering the man a cup of coffee and calmly escorting him outside. His quick thinking and compassionate approach made us feel safe and well-cared for. As for the hotel itself, the room was clean, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This hotel truly goes above and beyond in both hospitality and service. I highly recommend it, especially due to the outstanding staff like receptionist!

Lots of homeless but not the hotels fault

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. Firstly, we were truly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the manager, Rahaman. Despite being a very young boy, his humble and hands-on approach was remarkable. He didn't just limit himself to managerial duties but was actively involved in all departments, from cleaning to managing the front desk. His politeness and dedication to ensuring a great experience for guests stood out. Room was very clean and bed was soo comfortable. And hotel is located in central part of city which made our sightseeing easier. Not only this they have free 24/7 coffee. Thanks for everything! We will definitely see you guys again.

One night we had issue with parking as there were less spots available at the hotel.

I can say i didnt have even single issue during my 3 nights stay, All thanks to the Rahaman for trying his best to provide me everything that i needed starting from the charger to bringing my heavy luggages up and down during checkin and checkout. Room was spacious but an opening window might helped in getting some freshair but its ok air conditioning was in good condition. I never write reviews but this boy really amazed me and this is small appreciation for your service, hope your boss see this review.

I stayed here last night, and I just have to say a big thank you to Himanshu for his daring service at night. He was really helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. But honestly, the real reason I’m writing this is because of Rahaman. I don’t even have the right words to describe how amazing he is. He’s not just running the place he actually cares. You can feel it in the way he talks to guests, the way he handles everything with so much sincerity, and just the energy he brings. He’s one of those rare people who are not only great at their job but also genuinely good at heart. The rooms were clean, everything was nice.

After recently moving back to Toronto and having been misplaced as a result of my roommate neglecting to uphold his responsiblility to pay the rent despite my commited contribution. I also faced the misfortune of recently falling victim to identity theft, resulting in significant financial loss and the subsequent cancellation of my previous attempts to find accommodations despite my physical cards being stolen and the refusal of acceptance of digital copies on my phone of my ID, I was left feeling lost and disheartened, almost losing hope, until I stumbled upon the Royal Oak Inn.... From the very first moment, my spirits lifted. The warm welcome from The Manager Rahaman was truly heartwarming and welcoming, His friendly demeanor and genuine approach immediately put me at ease. It was the unexpected kindness and hospitality I desperately needed after such a difficult and frustrating experience. The compassionate approach exemplified the true essence of hospitality, making me feel valued and cared for during a distressing time. The service at the Royal Oak Inn has been impeccable. The staff are attentive, helpful, and always going the extra mile, making you feel like your part of the family and a sense of feeling at home. However, it was Rahaman who truly stood out. His dedication to providing excellent customer service was evident in every interaction from the beginning. He is readily available to answer your questions, provide insightful recommendations for local attractions, and has ensured the hospitality i have needed throughout my stay. I've been staying staying here for several years. This was my first visit since covid (it was closed during covid), and I was not disappointed. I've already booked a couple of nights for next month, and will probably stay a few more times this year. I was please to see they have continued to provide a basic breakfast for not extra charge. The staff are fantastic.

Walking late a night requires some care as there are a number of homeless people in the neighbourhood, but that seems to be pretty common in Toronto. There is a tram stop right at the hotel on both sides of the street.

After reading all the reviews i was scared to go to this property but once I stepped inside my mind is changed. It is nothing as described in reviews this property is 100% worth the price they offer. The best thing was about the staff, the boy who did my checkin was lovely. He was quick but yet very welcoming. I had very comfortable sleep and im thinking to come back again. I appreciate their free breakfast service and also their cleanliness of the rooms.

Area was bit rough but that didn't impact my stay at all
