Location was good right next to Chinatown (loads of places to eat here, great atmosphere especially in the evenings) and close by to Le Vieux Montreal and nearby metro station. Reception staff were very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast had lots of choices all self service which is fine but a bit hectic with loads of people all dining at the same time. The waiting staff did a grand job of keeping the area clean and tidy and topping up where needed.

Although my room was large with king size bed my view was into other rooms of the hotel which I didn't like.

So I came for my birthday and it was better than I expected. The blackout curtains really did the job, the room was spacious, I had a bathtub, which I hoped to have. I could have stayed sleeping for hours. The room had everything you could need and the bed was so large enough to roll around and not worry about fall off the edge. Next location is wonderful, directly inside of Chinatown with so many food options. the staff who greeted when I came check-in to when I checked- out were so sweet and helpful. I had issues getting to my floor and was guided patiently.

The buffet was good, some good choices but not great just because they ran out of things so fast and re-fill happened after 40 mins. The seating area also looked smaller than I thought compared to pictures. It was very very quiet, but once someone closes their door, you were made aware.

The location was amazing, it allowed us to see everything we wanted to see without having to drive at all while we stayed. The room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast in the morning was a zoo! Waiting on food. Both mornings people were taking plates and plates of food up to their rooms which may be cultural there, but I did not think that was appropriate as it was taking away from the other guests. There didn't seem to be enough room for all of the guests to sit.

This hotel has an excellent location, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, plus good warm shower. The underground parking was a convenient bonus. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the roof.

The breakfast service was slow to refill due to the large number of guests. The pool is very small, suitable mostly for kids, also the jetted tub didn't work efficiently and some jets were not working. Hot water in the lobby was unavailable in the evenings and nights, which was quite inconvenient. The room lacked carpeted flooring.

Location is great. Walking distance from downtown and Old Montreal. The swimming pool is small but heated and the view is beautiful.

We loved our stay. The only complaint : breakfast is great but extremely crowded especially after 8:30AM. There is not enough staff so the gypsies from all around the world are turning the place into a trash bin in minutes. It is repulsive. They'd better charge for breakfast more or do something about this issue...

This is a fantastic hotel when coming to Montreal for a conference. The amenities are great, and the 2 terraces are popular. Its definitely one of the best hotels I've been to in Montreal Downtown, I've love to stay there again, except the dealing with parking. Breakfast changed every day so its nice to get the day going - the selection might not be fine dining/foodie grade, but the variety, freshness and attitude of the staff serving it make it really memorable. Room size was average but with a modern finish. I forgot my toothpaste and the staff brought me a tiny tiny tube as a part of their standard services, which is much appreciated.

While its nice to have underground parking, it was expensive. Its also very not transparent from the hotels side on the timing/hours.

The rooms are big, clean and with everything needed. The beds are confortable. The hotel seems new or very well maintained. The location is great but now there are construction work right next to it (repairin the bridge thus serious) and it looks weird. The breakfast is ok for American standards.

The staff in the reception is totally unfriendly (on booking conditions it was mentioned a warranty of 100 CAD and they put a hold on 400CAD. I asked politely why 3 different people who ignored me. When I raised my voice they looked for an answer after the manager simply told me to clear the way. The breakfast has no fresh vegetables.

The location is good, between the busy downtown areas and the old quarter, and easy to walk to the main attractions. We were warmly welcomed and our room was clean and comfortable. Ronald on the front desk was very helpful providing lots of information on the local attractions, restaurants and places to visit in downtown Montreal.

To operate the lifts you needed to use your key card which is a good security measure, but not so effective when you have people in the lift visiting the restaurant on the 6th floor!

We arrived approximately three hours before check in and the lovely young man on the reception desk (Maxime Bolduc) checked with housekeeping and was able to check us in to our rooms rather than have us drop our luggage and check in later that afternoon. Room size was standard for a Hampton Inn. Breakfast was great and location was excellent. A short stroll to Notre Dame, you have Chinatown on the doorstep to the hotel lobby and parking was excellent particularly as we had a very large vehicle (GMX Yukon XL) which we had no issues manoeuvering down the ramps or into a suitably sized parking space.

Note: 'Queen sized' beds are as in the US - so not as big as Queen beds in locations outside of North America. Our mattresses did not fill up the full size of the bed frame and may have been double?

Very conveniant location with parking space underneath. Front desk staff, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spaceous rooms, swiming pool (mainly for kids) on the rooftop, very nice after a morning and noon walk / drive through the town. Jacuzzi also available on the roof getting you in the right mood for dinner.

On our first night, there was a loud party on the rooftop. Luckily we had no trouble falling asleep, despite the noise, since we had a long flight from Europe, a long wait at immigation, custom upon arrival, more waiting at the car rental agency at the airport and our first walk into Chinatown to have dinner. It was 10pm when we went to bed which, considering the time difference was actually 4am for us. We woke up well rested because of the great beds. All in all not too bad. The rooftop party was seemingly exceptional because we haven't had any other parties up there during our stay.
