The location is outstanding; you’re right in the heart of all the excitement of Old Montreal. The hotel amenities, restaurants were excellent. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had multiple jets which could be controlled and positioned accordingly for a full body wash. The staff were over the top friendly and helpful; treated us like royalty. Couldn’t be happier.

It didn’t bother me but for some folks beware if you don’t like noise in the evening. Because it’s in the heart of Old Montreal, you will hear the merriment of the nightlife outside. It’s not too loud and eventually it will quiet down. Also the soap dispenser in the shower was empty but a call to the front desk took care of that.

Perfect location in the middle of old town. Every amenity you could want with a fabulous coffee & pastry shop for the morning, 2 rooftop cocktail spots and restaurants with great food! Another attached restaurant that stays open later which I think also serves room service and breakfast the next day. The little sitting area/library with bar was also very nice and staff were amazing. They upgraded us to the best room overlooking the old town square and Ferris wheel which all lights up at night. Upon arrival they had a beautiful tart and bottle of champagne with a birthday note waiting for us in the room. It’s the little things that make it special and we will definitely stay there again!

The location is perfect for those traveling with no car. The interior of the hotel is so modern yet still has a quaint vibe and slight peeks here and there of its history and older charm. The rooms have all the conveniences of the most modern amenities. The Shower is by far THE BEST HOTEL SHOWER I have ever experienced. Such great pressure and a spa like feeling. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel at home. A perfect stay for our Anniversary trip.

The location was excellent - a quiet street around the corner from great streets for walking, eating, sightseeing, etc. The concierge was outstanding - In addition to making great suggestions for restaurants and tours,she went out of her way to find medical assistance for a member of our group. The rest of the staff were very welcoming and efficient. The rooms were not huge, but were very comfortable - comfortable beds and great pillows! The housekeeping is the only element of this hotel where it fell short - our rooms were not made up until after 5:30 at night - we did not get clean towels and the waste baskets were not emptied. The cocktail lounge was great - interesting seating and attentive staff. All in all a great stay!

Super place to stay for a weekend getaway to Montreal. Spacious well appointed rooms. Amazing shower. Very kind and friendly staff. Bonus to have the spa available just downstairs. Very modern and comfortable place to stay with a perfect location to explore the old city.

Only complaint was the lobby sitting area was very full in the late afternoon when I tried to get a cup of tea and relax.

The view from our room was exceptional! The size and set up of the room was really nice - space for eating breakfast and comfy seating for reading a book. The shower was also really amazing with various shower heads and strong water pressure. The parking was convenient and the parking staff we great. We drive an EV and we were able to charge it at the hotel!

The room was located near the 8th restaurant/bar. We were relieved that we didn’t hear loud people noise but every night around 11pm we’d start hearing a lot of loud noise as furniture was being dragged across the floor and loud banging for 30 minutes. We are night people so it wasn’t a big ideal, but it happened consistently all 5 nights we were there.

Booked a room with a view, which didn’t disappoint! Lovely view of the Old Port and the Jacques Cartier bridge lit up at night. Got massages at the spa which was 10/10. Ordered room service from Maggie Oakes and I’m still thinking about the lobster papperdalle. The mini bar had a nice selection although we didn’t partake, but the champagne was tempting. The king size bed was very comfortable.

Classy trendy hotel in the heart of the old port. Excellent blend of old & new parts to the property. Welcoming staff & friendly concierge. Good in house restaurant (Maggie Oakes) but a very good choice of restaurants in the square behind. Stunning roof top bar well worth a visit. Good sized trendy bedrooms with exceptional showers.

WiFi would regularly drop out, frustrating having to rejoin daily. Housekeeping was not worthy of hotel rates, our room was not vacuumed our entire stay (5 days), just bed made & a cursory flick around the bathroom. Found thick dust on upper glass shelves with unwashed glasses. Disappointing but not enough to prevent me staying again as loved the location! Sort the housekeeping for a perfect stay!

Everything about our stay at the William Gray hotel was absolutely amazing. The service from all staff we encountered was beyond exceptional, the hotel room was clean and upscale even for their most basic option. The bed/pillows were super comfortable and the shower water pressure was next level. To top it all off the spa was luxurious and professional, one of the best massages I’ve had. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Location was AMAZING and breakfast was really good. Hotel room was very comfortable and gym was perfect. It has a beautiful rooftop restaurant/bar also. The staff was very professional and friendly. Has a superb coffee shop inside the hotel.

The window of our room was right above a busy bar and it was noisy on Friday night until late. The hotel staff was nice and helped us out but I will definitely ask for a room in a quiet area if I travel again to this hotel during the summer weekends!
