Staff are always friendly and helpful and speak English. The rooms are a good size - for central Seoul - and well equipped. Good size bathroom too with plenty of storage. On the TV in the room you can login to your own Netflix account etc and watch as normal. Location is really good. Great convenience store next door and bank with ATM across the road. Close to Insa-dong shopping area and bars and restaurants and easy walk to Myeong-dong. Also easy walk to two subway stations. Cleaning staff are friendly and rooms always clean. Good laundry area in the basement if you need to wash and dry any clothes. Breakfast also good. Buffet style with Western and Asian food.

This time I visited in the winter but the heating was on so high that my room was really hot and no way to adjust. The staff gave me a fan and I also opened the windows but it was still too hot for me.

It was it a pretty good location. I was pleased to stay in Insa-dong area where Amid Hotel is. It was close enough to walk to many local tourist attractions.. once we got our bearings we found the location perfect for our needs. Only thing I didn’t like was stains on bedroom carpet looked gross 🤮 shower door opens in-wards which I didn’t like. And breakfast wasn’t that good. it was complementary in my case because it was my bday, which was nice of them. But tbh I wouldn’t have paid extra to have that breakfast.. they tried, but I just didn’t like the food quality.

Great location close to public transport yet hidden away from hustle and bustle of the main roads. Within walking distances to other main attractions such as Jongno Shrine, Palaces, Museums and Insadong shopping strip. The Airport Limousine Bus was within walking distance- maybe 3 minutes- which is very handy. There were some convenience stores a few doors away which was handy for snacks, drinks etc. Had laundry facilities. Bathroom was spacious with ample storage space for toiletries. Toilet was modern. Had a safe in the room. The coffee shop downstairs near the foyer had great coffee and was inexpensive compared to other cafes. It was very popular.

Sugar and some milk for coffee/tea. Pillows were way to soft and flattened quickly. Room could have been a little larger to fit 2 suitcases. Not much room to walk around.

The hotel is located in a central location in Insadong yet, in a quiet street. Next door you have a supermarket open until 24:00 and a 24/7 convenience store right next to it. There's an ATM machine just 50m away from it, which is great. The reception staff, Guly, Andy and Bella (and some more which I can no longer remember their names), are very helpful and will go the extra step to help you, either by calling a cab, ordering fried chicken or replacing our bedroom keys, which we had misplaced. Amid Hotel will for sure be my choice if I happen to visit Seoul again!

Amid is one of the best hotels i have stayed in during my travels, truly because of the staff and how well kept the rooms are. The front desk staff, Bella and Yoon were an absolute pleasure to deal with, always so courteous and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and then went to busan and came back again for 3 nights.They kept our luggage and when we returned from Busan , we requested if we can get an early check in, our room wasn't ready but we waited in the lounge for a bit and they got our room ready within the next hour. The rooms are cleaned every single day and we had absolutely no complaints at all. The location is excellent with walking distance from the subway and the bus station, and insadong cultural street and the jongno cafe/food area which so convenient, alot of viral social media cafes are walking distance. .Myeongdong shopping street is also 17 minute walk or a few bus station down..we always walked as the weather was always so nice. 10/10

Stayed here twice, first deluxe room and then standard room. The room was good and clean, nothing really to highlight that was outstanding. The location was the best, in Insadong, next to a nice small shopping street with art and tea accessories. Also nearby was this cute hanok village, with lots of cafes, definitely go there. And nearby, an outstanding Udon place called Gisaeng. We went back a couple of times.

Later that week I booked the standard room (only room available) but besides standard room being a bit smaller, nothing deluxe about a deluxe room. Same style and beds, actually due to the setup of the deluxe bathroom, we often had water in the bathroom floor from showering, nothing major but had to think about it when showering. If you dont care about the size, book the standard room if its cheaper. Pillows were too thin when sleeping on one, and too high if using two, the blankets were also very thick and actually too warm, in the winter we couldnt seem to turn on the aircon.

The hotel had everything we needed. We booked the Junior Suite and the extra living room space was perfect for us who did some shopping, so the bedroom was clear of our luggages. The supermarket and convenience store right next to our hotel were very convenient. The hotel was near a number of bus stops, subway stops, and just a 5 minute walk away from Ikseon-dong. Insa-dong is central but not super busy, perfect for people who gets overwhelmed in too crowded areas like Myeongdong or Hongdae, but wants the convenience. The coin laundry was great but would be better if they had more washing machine and dryers.

The lock kept giving us electric shocks, there were problems with the bathroom door (I got stuck inside) but the staff quickly fixed it. The light switch in the living room did not work but we just used the one in the bedroom area to control the lighting so it's fine.

Amid Hotel Seoul situated on the north side of the city, You can reach it from the Incheon Airport with public transportation. Metro station is 300 m, 5 min walk from the hotel and one of the metro exits has elevator in case you have luggage. Hotel is two metro station away from the famous Myeongdong Shopping District or you can walk there in 15-20 minutes. Also close to the Jogyesa Temple (5 min walk) and Gyeongbokgung and Changgyeonggung palaces (15-20 min walk). On the ground floor next to hotel there is Korean Supermarket and also next to that there is a GS25 convenience store. In 10-15 min walk a lot of places to have a coffee or breakfast and several restaurants. Location is very convenient to go other places and have a breakfast, lunch, dinner or coffee. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Also clean. WI-FI was free of charge and worked flawlessly. We did not take breakfast,so I could not comment on the breakfast. There is a coffee shop also in the lobby of the hotel to grab a coffee. Free bottle of water was provided for the first day. Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful about our questions. Overall we were very happy about the location and the amenities of the hotel.

Due to the coffee shop in the lobby, during day time, lobby can be a bit crowded and also noisy.

Location is well situated to various place of interest such as Insadong district. Very close to subway and bus. A coffee shop/bakery is available inside the hotel on the ground floor lobby area - good for your go-to coffee fix early in the morning. A supermarket and convenient shop is available next door to the hotel and a police station opposite. The room was clean and spacious. Staff including cleaners were friendly and very helpful. Overall, a positive stay and value for money. Would stay at Amid Hotel Seoul again.

The room was a bit warm. Despite turning down the temperature on the thermostat the temperate remained unchanged.

The hotel location is excellent. It's close to most of the big tourist sites and it's close to shopping and dining as well as nightlife. The subway was nearby and getting around town was easy. We also enjoyed the breakfast that included a large variety of items in a buffet style. The room itself was a decent size and the cleaning staff did an excellent job each day. There's even an outside grocery on the first floor of the building. This made picking up drinks and snacks very easy.

The room was a decent size but not quite large enough for luggage. We had to step over them but it wasn't a big deal.
