The area was safe and quiet, the hotel was very nice and clean and comforting, the food at the restaurant inside is very nice and the cook was very knowledgeable about what to recommend, everything was delicious, my room was clean and cozy and filled with everything we needed.

I hate the check in process when you book through a third party. The girl at the desk took close to 10 minutes getting me checked in saying she couldn’t find my reservation even with me giving her my name and confirmation code along with showing her emails she finally asked did I book through a 3rd party and I said yes and magically she found it but I had others behind me waiting to check in ! This isn’t a big deal but made me felt very anxious considering I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes for my bf graduation !

The breakfast was well prepared and tasted very good. I thought the decor of this facility was fantastic! So I was surprised the outside looked weather and in need of a refresh. I will be staying here again in the future. The elevator wasn't working when I got there and the staff member upgraded me because I wanted to be on the top floor, that was Awesome!

In the evening when it was busy there wasn't enough staff to help everyone in a timely matter. I thought the staff member did an awesome job keeping his composure and took care of everyone's needs.

We had an issue with a vehicle in our party and they were not going to be able to make it as they had to be towed and were near Asheville. I contacted the gentleman at the front desk and he was able to cancel our reservation without any penalty. We have stayed at this location for the last 3 years on our way to our family vacation and it has met all of our needs. Will be back next year!

We had a great time except for Friday night when I started to smell Marijuana I'm my room. It was coming from the halll. I immediately get severe headaches and feel like vomiting when I smell it. So the first night was not good. I also smelled it in the elevator lobby the next morning which made my day not so good.

Good location and really appreciated the digital check-in/check-out. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

Breakfast is NOT included. At the time of writing this, it’s $14 a person and made-to-order. The lobby was gorgeous, but the rooms are pretty old.

The Customer Service of the Front Desk I want to say her name is Courtney she was great. She check me in and gave me Excellent Service. Not only her but the Housekeeper on Duty I don’t know his name but I had an issue he was up there Within minutes

The staff was great, the lobby was very nice and the ability to get a meal prepared in the evening was perfect.

The bathroom did not have any air conditioning as well as the hallways and it was very hot outside when we were there. No A/C in the bathroom was not pleasant,

Having to pay $75 for a small dog. That is over half the cost of a room. This is the big problem at this hotel. Most charge $25, in some cases we did not get charged at all because we have a vey small dog.

Excellent Breakfast

Elevators are broken. And by appearances no real sense of urgency to fix them. I found that to be kind of odd. I’m physically challenged due to several surgeries on my hip femur and knee. Climbing stairs is an inconvenience for a healthy person but for a person with limited mobility it is a complete drudgery.

Staff was very friendly and helpful about information in the area. Stayed here to evacuate for a hurricane and the front desk staff was very accommodating to our small dog and children during such a stressful time.
