I liked that the property was in close proximity to the Classic Center, breakfast was outstanding, staff was friendly and helpful, clean establishment, numerous areas to sit after exiting the elevator (while waiting for my ride).

It would be nice if the staff would have said I need to use my room key for the elevator to move past the 2nd floor. I had read the elevator signs then retrieve my room key card from my purse to get the elevator to go to my floor. I did not see visible signs from the street or directions on the website that indicated where to park to check-in at the Hyatt. I did not like that when I ate at the restaurant nonalcoholic drinks had to be retrieved from the market (snack area) of the hotel rather than the restaurant order counter.

The staff on duty at the late night time of checkout was very efficient and professional/courteous. The breakfast buffet was superior to any hotels breakfast we have ever had. Can’t say enough about the freshness, variety and tastiness! Such a pleasant surprise after a long day of work and travel the day before. As far as the accommodations, they were clean, very updated and comfortable. Thank you so much.!! such a pleasant experience for medical class working Americans!

Our table at breakfast was not exactly clean nor was the kitchen floor however it was not so bad that it outweighed the above mentioned positives.

I liked the location and the amenities.

The front desk staff was phenomenal both in the morning and the evening. I had an issue with some of the staff that was cleaning up during breakfast. I was fixing my food and I sat my plate down and went to get a fork and came back and one of the ladies threw my food away, and you could clearly tell it was a full plate of food. When I asked her about it, she had a nasty attitude and proceeded to tell me that she did not do it when I watched her, scrape my food off my plate and put it in the trash. I understand things happen, but it would’ve been nice if she had just been accountable for doing it instead of lying about it.

Location.

No isolation and all exterior noise and doors opening and shutting were annoying and disturbing. Although breakfast was very good, the same menu offered every day for clients staying 4 days was not acceptable. I know we live in an era of cell. Phones, but many times returning the hotel, we found front desk staff on the cell phones without even acknowledging that we entered the hotel and passed right by them.

Breakfast is a big improvement. The staff front desk is amazing. It's a great location for everything in Athens. Easy parking. I see the improvements that were made since Coivd and the addition of staff to restaurants and front desk makes for a fast check-in and out. Thank you!

Bed mattress needs to be upgraded and the sheets need to be replaced, I have been coming to this hotel for the past four years and the mattress feels the same. The sheets are also a little dingy and must be replaced with newer ones.

Clean and comfortable beds and restroom. Rooms are spacious and have nice sitting area, cabinets, and refrigerator. The breakfast was excellent and the best at any hotel I have been to. They had many gluten free options, multiple dietary options. The food was great! Very convenient walking distance to downtown restaurants and campus at UGA - Go DAWGS! Parking was easy in their garage. Staff was very nice and the property was well managed.

A bit pricy but hey...for what we experienced it was truly worth it! No microwave in rooms. Our room (304) had a broken wire shelf in the shower but was not a big deal.

I needed a place close to Athens Piedmont Regional Hospital and it was super convenient for that. The staff was very helpful, from front desk to the Restaurant/Bar staff. When I knew I would be arriving back after the restaurant closed they placed an order for me to be ready to pick up when I arrived. The food onsite was really good and saved me since I was keeping crazy hours tending to the hospitalization of 2 family members at the same time.

Communication about breakfast hours, Elevator, and Parking procedures would've been helpful. Never did figure out how parking worked. I had to get buzzed out every time or I would've been charged

The property was clean and well done, a good value for the ate. The staff was courteous and the breakfast was very good. of note was the clerk at check in who remembered me from my stay the previous week and gave me a little "welcome" snack bag that was appreciated.

Everything was good and everyone was courteous and helpful.

Breakfast was not bad. Especially appreciate the gluten-free options. Fruit was good and so were the eggs. Would have enjoyed more coffee creamer options, and iced coffee option

Only coffee creamer was mini-containers of flavored fake cream. Real milk, real cream would have been nice

From the time we entered, we felt welcomed! The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were pristine, the beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was organized, and the food was great! Obviously, walking distance to everything downtown and to campus. The rooftop bar was awesome for watching the sunset. I highly recommend Hyatt and cannot wait to stay next time!
