The staff was friendly & welcoming. The rooms were very clean.

The rooms were just too small, the bathroom sink far too small to wash your face or brush your teeth (I'm a small person). The mattress I slept on was extremely noisy. Every time I moved, the mattress made a bouncy steel noise! Very uncomfortable!!

Breakfast was actually FIRE! I did not expect that at all but I actually looked forward to it every morning. The staff is also super nice and hard working. The location was great in terms of getting places via the L, walking, or Uber. The comfort of the bed was okay.

the size of the rooms are comparable to NYC. so so tiny which I didn't expect. you also have to ask for toiletries and the only thing they provide is hand soap, lotion, and towels. It's definitely a budget hotel and the price of the stay should reflect that. I wouldn't stay here again if I found something cheaper in the same location.

Coming by car is not the best move. You have to find a spot on the street to park and not get a citation, to check-in, then an additional $50+ to park in a garage with no guarantee of security. We didn't have a shower curtain in our room.

The location was perfect - right next to Trader Joe's so we could get healthy snacks and not eat out every meal. Very friendly front desk staff who went above and beyond. Very clean, nice breakfast - I want to keep it a hidden gem!

We didn't realize that there wasn't a refrigerator in the room, and that was a bummer. We had to buy a cooler and just keep filling with ice for leftovers and other food items. The room was a bit small for 3 of us - you can tell it was an historic hotel (which was cool) but also meant the rooms were pretty tiny.

The location is awesome, the breakfast was good and everything was very clean. The AC was a little bit too loud though. I sleep with earplugs so it wasn’t a big deal for me. Also the girls from the reception were very nice. I had a problem with the bed of my room and they changed to another room immediately. I was traveling by myself so I appreciated a lot how safe I felt there. 😊

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Everything was fresh and the coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had in a hotel. The rings were very clean. The beds slept well. The location of our room was very quiet in the evening and the location of the hotel itself was exceptional. I could not have been happier.

I cannot think of anything that I disliked! I will definitely share this hotel with anyone who’s going to Chicago and will stay there again

Pot smell. Yet it is what it is. Very thin walls. I swear I could hear rooms next to me people snoring. Yet this is Chicago not Disney world.

The services and staff were excellent. The location was great, it's in the downtown, near to the substation. The room and the beds were great, the breakfast too.
