Came for the Riot Fest (SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!). I loved this Hotel! Staff was excellent! Free water was great. Good coffee shop on site (and NOT Starbucks...I hate Starbucks). Very lively at night including a cool speakeasy (Prices were a bit steep for drinks, but good). Great location and very walkable to many things. There is an awesome Heavy Metal Bar/Restaurant a block away(Kuma's Corner) if your'e into that sort of thing.

Room could have been a bit bigger, but It was what I expected. Wish hotel had a hot tub. Food and drinks a bit pricey, but normal for that area, so can't really complain.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in! Gorgeous interior, super friendly staff (who made our stay extra special for my partner's birthday, and were always on hand to provide recommendations!) and fantastic location. Our room also had an incredible view. Really great extras such as the Marshall speaker, the onsite bar/restaurant, great pool, and free use of hotel bikes etc. Couldn't recommend enough... Can I move in?!

The only thing we didn't love was that the pool closed at 4pm each day so we only got to use it once throughout our 5 day stay - we would've liked to have had a swim at 4/5pm after our days out exploring. The pool area is lovely though!

The breakfast was great. Loved the pool and view from the roof. Rooms were comfy and also plenty of space to move around and hang out without feeling cramped. Decor is modern and clean, enjoyed the art and decor in the hallways, especially the vintage bathing suits up by the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful, and having a coffee shop downstairs in the AM was super convenient

This was a really busy hotel, partially due to the other venues within the space which is purely a personal preference. And although the staff was generally friendly, I had one experience with an employee being short with me when I had to go looking for someone for assistance.

This hotel has amazing bar and public spaces. The ground floor and rooftop are buzzing almost all the time. The area is super trendy, loads of great restaurants and bars around. Train easy from the airport. Out of the centre but good transport links and walkable in about 40 mins.

Rooms were small with limited storage, beds small too for America. you had to request room cleaning (but not a problem if you did ask). Being from the uk, I wasn’t aware of the super high taxes for staying (c$100 a night).

The rooftop pool was a really incredible bonus amenity. And the staff everywhere was really pleasant and helpful. I also liked that I could see the pickleball courts next door from my room. Very amusing!

I didn’t like that the bathroom door would not stay open on its own, and that they only stocked decaf coffee in the rooms. I also did not like that you had to opt in to maid service but understand that seems to be the default now post-pandemic. There was also an issue with the towel vendor while I was there.

The Hoxton is in a great neighbourhood for food and drink, and handy to the El for trains downtown. There is a funky rooftop area with small pool and bar, but this seems to be regularly closed to guests from about 4pm of there is a private function.

Main bathroom light is on an auto switch which isn't great in the middle of the night (perhaps have a low level 'baby' light on auto and main light on the switch?). The bar area upstairs was private function 2 of the 2 nights I was there. a can of beer was $12.

The hotel is great looking, modern, and in a terrific location.

It's a party hotel and very, very loud on the weekends. I was having dinner with my daughter and the woman at the table next to us passed out in her food. Elevator always packed with people heading to the rooftop restaurant. There were always people two-deep at the bar at night and DJs in the lobby in the middle of the day. If this is what you're going for, you'll love it. But we could have used a break from the shouting drunks.

Good location, and if you are a foodie, amazing location surrounded by a lot of top restaurants in Chicago. The place is busy but stay pretty quiet when you are inside your bedroom. And if you want to mingle, just go to the bar downstair in the lobby (or the cocktail club below) Friday or Saturday night, it is crazy packed. Good and nice team at the lobby of the hotel.

Two main elevators can be a bit busy at peak time

The hotel is stunningly beautiful inside and in a great location with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. It couldn't be closer to the train, giving greater access to the city. The room we stayed in was spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated. It was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Having a fridge and electric kettle in the room was very convenient.

The lounge bar is pricey, but that is to be expected in a big city.

Great location with helpful staff. Beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also nice with great products. Will definitely stay again.

Pool closed early for a private event. Gym is a bit small.
