SHUTTLE TO NYCC! Breakfast included. Room clean. "Fireplace" was neat

Parking on hill (last year, my daughter's car was damaged). Requested room on 2nd floor at time of reservation, but got 3rd. Back entrance wouldn't allow entry even after scanning room key (told guy at front desk & he told us it did work, even though we tried several times, as did other guests, without success) . On final morning of our stay, when we returned from breakfast, bathroom smelled strange (pot?). Also, only found ice machine on 2nd floor after being told was also one on 4th floor (not on each floor as implied by signage). Pool appears to be permanently closed (internet information needs to be updated to include no pool). Bright light from construction came straight into window at night, so couldn't enjoy much of sunset (not hotels fault)

The hotel is ok for the price paid. It is simple but clean, has a good breakfast, doesn't smell bad, is in a good location, and has a large and comfortable room.

My only complaint is the front desk staff, especially a young man of about 30/40 years old who I believe is of Indian origin. He is extremely rude and lazy. I would say good morning or good night and he wouldn't answer. He would create obstacles for me whenever I asked him. It was very difficult to convince him to pick up a simple package that had been delivered to me, even though the package was in a locker behind him. But he did everything he could to avoid having to pick it up. Unfortunately, people like that end up tarnishing the image of a good hotel like this.

Good parking, breakfast was ample, had fruit, potatoes, eggs, pancakes, juices, toast, ac unit was quiet, nice shower head, beds comfy, big space for 2 queen beds, has a shuttle bus that takes you to the port authority to go to new york...under $4/person...walk behind hotel to the super 8 parking lot and that is where the shuttle picks you up..then coming back from new york...you find same shuttle service..off 7th ave in times square...and it will drop you off at the exxon on other side where you will walk back from to the hotel..10 min walk..not bad at all...and cheaper than the actual hotel shuttle which is around $10/person...

Location...a little hard to get to....esp if you are not familiar with the area...pool looks like it hasn't been open for years..there is vegetation growing on tarp...

The front staff upon arrival (male) was not pleasant he was short. Didn’t smile or say much. The front staff next day was better at least smiled. The staff the following day(female ) we had to wait 4 min until the lady was talking on her cell (on speaker) to her friend in Spanish. The front staff (female ) on check out didn’t smile either. Need to work on this seeing that the people at the front desk give the first impression of the hotel.

Wifi was not good at all. Not good. Something was biting your skin in the room. Had to buy something for insects to spray on skin and in the room.

Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast variety good and you can definitely fill your tummy up before heading out. Would like to have the choice to get a coffee after 10am at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

The walk from the hotel to where you need to catch the NJ transit bus. That hill not easy.

The breakfast was great with variety, and the staff kept restocking. The staff were generally helpful and friendly. It's quite close to some convenient shops.

The base of the bed was metal, and our legs kept kicking it. It didn't hurt, but it was quite a nuisance. My complaint has to do with deduction for room safe we did not use. We booked 2 rooms and requested a safe in one room on the second day. Yet we were charged for the use of safe for both days in both rooms. The hotel was contacted, but the refund wasn't done.

The hotel is very clean and includes breakfast. It has free parking and 2 blocks away you are able to catch a bus that takes you to Port authority in Manhattan. We got our room clean everyday with fresh towels. I strongly recommend this place for price and service. It was really convenient for me that included the parking.

Great location and breakfast is included. Hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful. It has free parking and enough space to park. You can get a public bus running every 5 to 10 minutes to go to Times Square and come back to hotel. Hotel staff provided the directions for the bus route. My family liked the hotel, highly recommend it.

The breakfast is excellent, but the location is a bit far if you want to grab food or drink in the area around the hotel.

The room was clean, but the smell was a bit strange. When I asked the reception to change the room or use an air freshener, but it didn't help much. I was informed that the room had been closed for a long time. I would suggest opening and refreshing the room regularly or some time before assigning it to a guest.
