It was a good value and the location was convenient to public transport. Rooms were small but comfortable, and one staff in particular was very helpful with suggestions. There is a massive amount of free public parking across the street.

Especially for regular budget travelers to New York, this place provides a welcome alternative to expensive, cramped rooms in Manhattan. Here you have lots of space and a normal-sized bathroom for a good price. Nothing fancy, but very functional: good wi-fi, a small desk for working, a simple breakfast room with a complimentary bagel breakfast. The hotel is only 1 block form the 45th St. subway station and I saw women walking alone along the street at midnight: it's safe. It takes maybe an extra 20 minutes of subway commuting form Manhattan compared to many closer options, but if you only go into Manhattan once a day and back, well, it's worth it. And if you want to see Brooklyn, then you are really in luck here.

There are no frills and the hotel is located on a business street with an elevated highway. Be sure to get a room not facing the front. The rooms in back are all perfectly quiet. I would come again.

Very conveniently located one block down from the subway. Comfortable bed. Good TV channels to relax after a long day of site seeing. Awesome cafe next door for breakfast if you want more than the continental fare. So many mexican restaurants in easy walking distance. Although the walls seemed thin, it was surprisingly quiet!

Staff was friendly we checked in a bit earlier than our actual time and room was ready. Bed was comfortable house cleaning was daily and towels were changed daily if you asked. Nice breakfast no eggs which I would have liked but fine. It was far from most things but very quiet where our room was. Excellent.

The location made it easy to walk to Industry City for a work convention. The woman at the front desk was lovely. So friendly and accommodating. A rockstar for hospitality!

amazingly kind staff. Beds and pillows were very clean and comparable in quality to at least a 4-star property. don’t let the neighborhood fool you… this is a great hotel for the value… like a secret oasis of calm in the heart of a busy city.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in this price range in the city and this was the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve seen.

The location is a bit out of the way but it’s close to the subway so it’s not bad.

It’a quite a big room for two with a private bathroom. The breakfast is basic but more than enough to start the day. Industry City Mall is just around the corner. And metro is 3 min away to get anywhere else.

Interstate 278 is in front of the entry across the street. Outside of the hotel the traffic is a bit noisy. Inside the room it was quiet. There is also metal work behind the hotel, but you can reach the waterside in a walking distance.

Breakfast was good but the bagels could have been better quality.

bagel quality. You have to toast them otherwise there really isn't much taste.

Like the shower and how convenient everything was at so it was a block away from the R train

I didn't like that they don't do house keeping at all they don't change your bedsheets and don't take out the trash
