The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. It was a typical hotel breakfast. We didn't custom order any eggs since we were on a time budget. The hotel was clean and convenient for our needs. We tried to book our next trip at this hotel, but it is full for our needed dates. We did noticed and liked the hotel door does not have a gap at the bottom.

The travel coffee cups (in the room) had a seal issue which cause it not to hold liquid. It did create a mess when making a cup of coffee in the room. Even though it isn't the hotel's fault, their supplier should be aware.

Breakfast was personal and good, BUT the apple juice was just flavored water, the OJ spigot was broken, and there was not a decaf option on coffee unless I brewed it in my room and brought it to breakfast myself.

Our door on our suite was a very stubborn closer. And we usually leave the bathroom light on during our night’s stay and shut the door to a one-inch opening so that we can find the bathroom in the dark. This was not possible because the door wanted to be closed at all times.

The closeness to the hospital

We had stayed here in 2021 and the property was spotless. The rooms were very clean. This stay however was a bit shocking at checkin I asked the clerk to fully charge my card so I wouldn’t have an authorization and a charge on my debt card. I was told “oh we don’t do that”. So sure enough I had both an authorization and a charge on my debt card. Of course the authorization will fall off but when you’re traveling it’s a nuisance having your money tied up. The room was not as clean this time around. There was a thick layer of dust above the headboard and on the top of the pictures. The room had a musty smell upon entering. I enjoy the location of this property, however I expect more out of a plus property.

The girl at the front desk was VERY accommodating and friendly. I wish I could remember her name. The whirlpool was nice, and breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable, but I would've preferred to have longer pillows, the ones included felt more like throw pillows. But I would definitely recommend this hotel to others

The pillows could've been bigger, and the people on the floor above us were a little noisy.

This hotel is in a great location that is close to many things such as the universities and hospitals. It was not in the hustle and bustle of the main parts of Lubbock, but was in a great spot. It was also an extremely quiet hotel. My room was across from the elevator, and I heard nothing! It was fantastic.

The pillows could be better. They were pretty flat and not very comfortable.

Breakfast is really good. Beds are comfortable and sleep well. The location is close to the west end and several restaurant choices. There is a side walk along the service road for walking my dog as well as a doggie bag dispense and trashcan along the back side of the hotel.

Our room was a little warm (317) at first but it cooled off for sleeping.

Clean, spacious room. Friendly staff. Excellent free breakfast, and even a specialty coffee machine with latte/cappuccino.

This wasn't an issue, but we had a suite which not have a door between the beds and the sitting area / sofa bed. Maybe I misread the description, but I assumed there would be a separate room?

Location was easy to find, facility was clean and staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and also very clean. The option of the two restaurants for delivery service was helpful too.

Only complaint was the k cup coffee maker didn't work. We were close to the breakfast area and able to get coffee at anytime, so it wasn't really a big problem.

Very nice, clean hotel! The room is large, and the beds are very comfortable. As you walk into the room, there's a closet and then a bar for coffee and the frig and microwave. The bathroom is roomy and the entry to the bathroom has a door that can be closed for privacy. There's also an iron and ironing board in the closet. Very nice place to stay. I didn't have time to eat the breakfast but it looked very good, too.

Can't really think of anything that I didn't like.

The room was clean and well decorated. The beds and sheets were comfy. The breakfast offered lots of choices for different dietary needs. I eat gluten free and really appreciated this.

Please offer shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion in large bottles that can be refilled and are attached ot the wall in bathroom near sink and in shower. This will help BW be kinder to the earth.
