Everything was fine. The staff were very nice. The rooms are quite small. I get it, this is an historic building and size is hard to adjust. But 5 star? Not a chance. Nor, in all honesty, was the breakfast nearly as intriguing as the photos. And no one can seem to manage to cook an egg properly?!? Little things though kind of add up, things that should not be factors in a true 5 star location. Like the way the room was never made up the same way any 2 days in a row. Somedays, no washcloths, or how just one night little chocolates appeared on the pillows that were missing the rest of the time... Just stupid stuff, but in a strange way annoying. Consistency would have caused me to shrug and likely not notice, but inconsistency makes things obvious. We have certainly stayed in nicer 4 star accommodations.

For goodness sakes in a breakfast of this price I should expect to get an egg with a runny yoke if requested. Whomever was in the kitchen only knew how to fry an egg in a round tin until firm as a frisbee.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in perfect location for seeing the Notre Dame restoration which is outstanding. The staff greeted us with a glass of champagne; were most gracious and helpful in their introduction to the hotel and offering of suggestions for transportation and attractions, dinner reservations etc. we did use then to arrange a taxi for our departure to CD G airport. The hotel room is bigger than most hotel rooms in Paris and uniquely arranged to give openness; we had 2 windows that brightened our day with partial views to the exterior restoration on ND cathedral. Also were enthusiastic with hotels history of being the former home of Simone de Beauvoir . If you like art; the hotel features the art of Joaquin Zorolla, a Spanish painter of the Impressionist genre. Lovely.

Nothing was disliked. Some people may be off put with curtain separator drapes to the shower, but we used a he beautiful drapery for privacy of shower and it was fine.

The property was beautiful, extremely comfortable, very clean, and in a great location period. It was easy to explore Paris right outside our door!

this is common in many hotels in Paris but I noticed that the staff working in the daytime at the front desk were white compared to staff of colour who either worked the night shift or cleaned the rooms of the hotel. I always noticed things like this as a traveller of colour and I hope moving forward the Hotel continues to increase diversity across all types of staff.

At a five-star property, I would expect that when I request my room to be cleaned at 9 a.m., it wouldn’t be left until 4 p.m. for the cleaning staff to start. Being asked to wait and walk around while the room is cleaned at that hour is unacceptable. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast were soaked in vinegar and were inedible. The coffee was just average—not what you’d expect from a five-star establishment.

I thought that the breakfast was sub-standard for this hotel category and expense. Very limited options and no variety from day to day. Great chocolate croissants and cheese but everything else, including the menu selections, was disappointing. despite professionaland attentive restaurant staff.

Mimi bar was over priced. TV operation was inconsistent. But front desk was excelkant and d highly responsive.

Location is superb a stones throw from Notre Dame, Latin Q and St Germaine. The staff are knowledgeable polite and responsive without being obtrusive. The Bruch with jazz music was just what we needed after a busy couple of days. The kettle and Nespresso machine and a stocked mini bar were welcome additions. The bed and importantly for me the linen were excellent quality and had a luxurious feel.

The room size was compact but normal for Paris. The bathroom was screened by a curtain . Personally I prefer a door!!!

Beautiful property, great location and accommodating staff.

The air conditioning was ineffective. We slept with the windows open at night, which then let in street noise in the early hours of the morning.

The location was perfect - having stayed in Paris several times before in different areas of the city, this was by far our favorite location. Love that you can walk to so much, are close to metro and only a block to the seine but when you turn down the street to the hotel or when you are in your room, it feels tucked away/secluded. The staff was also phenomenal. Bedroom was spacious - we had our 12yo daughter and our dog with us & there was plenty of room for all. The extra bed was the nicest and most comfortable - our daughter slept so well. Usually the extra bed is a rollaway cot but this was a nice daybed setup. Pillows and bed were very comfortable.

This is nitpicking but the bathroom sink - there is a shelf directly above the sink which made it impossible to wash your face without dumping water onto yourself/the floor because you can’t get your face over the sink due to how far the shelf hangs over the bowl. It’s a little annoyance but something I wouldn’t expect to deal with in a hotel of this stature.
