At the time of booking, I could not get a room where my whole family could stay. I had to book 2 rooms. A single room with single bed and another room with double bed but the second room seemed like the same size as the first room and was inconveniently small. However, the hotel staff were kind enough to find me an alternate double room which was available which made our stay very comfortable.

Everything was very good including the breakfast options, location of convenience stores, distance to the nearest railway station (spoiler alert: the hotel is located on top of the railway station) and so, there isn't really anything I can write in this section. Sorry.

If there was one thing I would suggest it is that All the staff have a good understanding of the English language. I realise that if you go to foreign country you should have a basic command of the native language in this case its Japanese but that works both ways a hotel that is excepting foreigner's should have employees who can communicate in English. The people and country of Japan are fantastic, its just one or two staff strugglied to understand what we needed thankfully others helped us out, their communication skills were wonderful.

I didn't like having to leave japan its a wonderful country and you should be very proud of yourselves for making it so

APA Hotel (Higobashi Ekimae) has a perfect location—just steps from the train station, konbini, and our favorite ramen spot. Check-in was warm and welcoming, and we even received free luggage stickers while waiting. The room is small and a bit tight for two, especially with a taller partner, but it had all the essentials. Amenities were refreshed daily, including towels, slippers, toothbrush, razors, PJs, etc. I loved the bed with built-in controls for lights and alarm, and the TV provided useful hotel and city info. Overall, great value for the location—even with the compact space, it suited our needs since we were out exploring most of the time.

Efficient, clean and great value for money. Location is perfect directly in the middle of Dotonbori and Osaka station. Also having a train station outside within like 10 steps was so convenient. It was right by the Science museum which I hadn’t heard of and was pleasantly surprised by that too. TV in your room displays so much useful information like current coin laundry status (vacant, in use with time left) it also had free mirroring for your phone. It had clear dates on when your room was being cleaned, how full the onsen is. Also walking distance from Nakau which was probably my favourite place to eat, very cheap and yummy with self service ordering machines

Vending machines were scattered on every other floor, would have been nice to have them on the ground floor so you can use them before going to your room. Very minor point as there are plenty outside, and also plenty convenience stores nearby too

Staff spoke excellent english and were always enthusiastic to help out when needed. The rooms were nice and tidy and make excellent use of the very limited space inside. Using a smart TV to display hotel information was new for me, and was quite useful and well layed out. Mandatory room cleanings every three days is a nice gesture too, and the cleaners did a fantastic job of cleaning the rooms. The location is 11/10, the Higobashi station entry/exit 3 leads right to the front of the hotel, no exaggeration. The hotel is situated nicely between Umeda and Namba making it convenient and being so close to Tosahori river was great. Outside noise was no issue on the 6th floor.

As with most business hotels in Japan the rooms are tiny, keep in mind when travelling with a family. The bathroom is no exception here. The pillows were quite firm and thin for my liking. Didn't explore much of the leisure within the hotel such as the spa and restaurant so can't speak on those.

At first when I booked, I thought the hotel was convenient for traveling. But on the first day of my stay, I was late, causing the exit door near the hotel to be closed, causing me to walk in the cold to check in. I stayed here for 5 nights, but there was only 1 cleaning. Room service just hung the amenities in front of the room every day, that's all.

I don't like Front's attitude(man) 07DEC24 around 23.59 hrs. First counter, right side, which is that he doesn't trust me. There are some signals that I can see, even though I can't understand Japanese. But the behavior is inappropriate. He should receive more training.

free onsen, location is super B, right in the hearts of Osaka. can ride taxi or walking nearby museums and restaurants. rooftop restaurant inside APA is highly recommended♥️ Food and drink was worth the price. parking space during our stay was convenient.

room space are too small, but we upgraded our room the next day. some pillows have smells😅 other than that everything was okay. It would be nice if front desk (men) would smile more often, Hospitality and facial expressions matters in this field.

Clean room with many amenities. Breakfast was fantastic with a large variety of food such as salads, pastries, sausages, eggs, cereal, miso soups, dessert cakes, juices, tea, coffee and so on. Onsen (public bath) available for hotel guests at certain hours. Location is great. Can be quiet at night but there is a mini mart/ seven eleven opposite which is open 24 hours and when you walk out of the hotel doors the subway station is in front of you so very convenient for travelling around the area and city.

Room (economy small double) was a bit small for two people mainly because there was a bulky desk which was unnecessary. Something more slim line would have made it easier to get into the bed which was against a wall and couldn't be accessed any other way. Step into bathroom is very high (possible to avoid any flooding into the main bedroom) so have to be careful when stepping in and out that you don't hit your feet.

I liked the location, easy check in and check out process. The Rooms are very clean and cleaning staff is very friendly and professional. It is a very good Hotel for the price and I have stayed before and after in APA Hotels, this is a good one!

I asked at reception desk for exchange of mattress as it was a old one. One staff member just laughed, was a bit tricky to explain what I want, as English of staff is limited. At the end, to be honest, the difference of the "new" mattress was not big. Apart from that, the Hotel is good and I can recommend it

I liked the onsen/communal shower area with hot spa, the cleanliness the amount of towels and literally a new yukata given to you everyday. Hung on your door when you come back from your daily travels. You pay a little bit more for this hotel and it is worth the extra 20-30 AUD per night.

The rooms although clean. Was much smaller than envisioned, it felt the same size as a budget Tokyo hotel. Does that mean I wouldnt come back? No. Just means I would explore options alot more to weight out my options. Still a good experience
