The location was fairly central and close to Osaka station. The hotel was large and well maintained.

I had booked two rooms for my wife, myself and our children, and requested they be located close together. Our room was on the 23rd floor, the children on the 7th. The lower floor used a separate elevator that was card-locked and we initially received only one key, so we couldn't get to their room. The attendant on staff had basic English skills, so I had to use what Japanese I knew to explain the situation. They were unable to change the room, but provided extra cards. The hotel was busy, so going from room to room still took about 15-20 minutes.

The room was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in my life. I am amazed. Sheets are sharp as well. The hotel has very thoughtful facilities, including a Lawson right in the hotel itself. The TV screen also shows you the crowdedness of the public bath and check out times, which was very helpful. I would definitely stay in other APA hotels from now on

The only down side to the hotel is the difficulty to get here. Its slightly far from the Osaka/Umeda stations, confusing multi lane traffic above ground, and construction works underground, which doesnt help. Wish that the hotel could provide some instructions on how to get there beforehand - had to ask quite a few locals before someone could figure out how to get there from the station.

They actually charge $25 per person per hour to USE THE POOL!!! Never seen that in any country. If it has a pool and you’re a guest you get access. But here. Ridiculous . Also they were phoning our room 4 times at 10.05am telling us our check out was 10am- which it was not. Even the notice on our room tv said 11am. And trying to speak to anyone to discuss anything was useless at reception. They just smile and nod and don’t understand

New hotel, very clean, friendly staff, great facilities and comfortable overall. The location is great, next to the most convenient hubs - Umeda station and JR Osaka station, allowing you to quickly reach anywhere in Osaka or Kyoto/Kobe. I would recommend.

This new hotel is very big, and despite having multiple elevators, you sometimes have to wait quite a while for one, especially in the mornings/evening when everyone are coming/leaving,

Location - next to so many food options and about a 5-10 minute walk to Osaka station. Had a public bath and a Lawson convenience store inside. Check in and check out was quick and convenient especially if you have prepaid.

Although we were on the 33rd floor the noise from the roads were very loud even with the window closed. We understand it isn't in the hotel's control but we stayed there for 7 nights and the police sirens went off every night. Not sure if other rooms had the same problem but if you're a light sleeper, it might affect your sleep.

The vibe in location.

You can’t invite ppl with the comparable high rate and charge them for using facilities like gym! Please change this policy. I heard this feedback from some other ppl via random conversations

The fact that it is less than a ten minute walk to Osaka Station which made it super enjoyable for me to get around. Get a little excise by walking to Osaka station before I catch my ride at Osaka Station. Also, love the outdoors roof top swimming pool and gym. Another plus is lawson’s station has a store inside the hotel. Staff was super duper nice and friendly love the staff there they greeted me every time they saw me even if I just went downstairs to buy some mochi ice cream. Also Chikamatsu a great ramen restaurant is just a 5 minutes walk away very delicious ramen. If you walk down the alley where Yoshinoya is towards the end of the alley there’s another walk way if you turn left there’s a really nice place to take good pictures. Couples I think you know what I am taking about.also super close to Daimaru, Hankyu, Hep Five, Grand Green, Yodaibashi Bic Camera Store shopping malls. I love this hotel and area.

I have nothing to complain about.

Good location, less than a 10 minute walk to a main station and close to food area. The bed was very, comfortable.

The swimming pool and gym are NOT free. We booked the hotel for this reason and we were very disappointed. The room is quite small.

Location: Conveniently located near the Higashi Umeda station with lots of eateries. Also walkable to the Osaka Station and HEP5. Size: The family room is quite large for Japan standard. There was enough space in the room to have 5 suitcases opened on the floor. Cleanliness: Very clean. Storage: We sent our luggage from Tokyo 6 days prior to arriving at this hotel and they were willing to store our luggage till we arrived. Staff: Very helpful and polite. Overall: Doesn't feel like a budget hotel. It's better than some of the more expensive & higher star hotels I've stayed at.

Bathroom size: Very tiny. Sustainability: As much as I understand how the hotel wants to keep everything "sterile", there's just too much plastic wrapping IMO. E.g. disposable cups, slippers, toiletries wrapped individually in plastic.

Loved the view from our room. I also love that the hotel was in a bustling area. Every night as we were coming back to the hotel there were groups of people out and about. Many shops and restaurants close by, almost over too many options, we were a bit overwhelmed. The hotel was quite accommodating, we had gone to the hotel onsen, but on the way back to our room, I got separated from my group, leaving me with no room key and no way to get back to my room (I didn't bring my phone). The floor staff told me to go to the front desk, and they immediately issued me another key, no questions asked (but must be because I was in the hotel jammies).

Because of the season of our stay, the AC unit was only allowed to be on heat. So we had to open our window most nights. The only annoying thing about that is hearing everything happening on the streets all night. There were constant ambulances (I can only assume) and one night a street race(?, some kind of loud reving). Also our bathroom was quite small, which I guess didn't matter since we mostly went to the onsen to wash up, but still something to consider. The station exit was close by but, it was still a walks away. I don't think enough people differentiate between the train station exit and the platform. So while we were about 6 mins from an exit, it felt a bit longer than that because of the struggle of getting out. Let me not mention stairs...
