Cleanliness of the hotel and kindness of the staff. The room space and the quietness of the place.

Some of the furniture in the rooms needs to be renewed. The hotel is a little far from the train station.

Hotel is grand and room is Hugh. We were on the 7th floor, over looking the river and field. Staff helpful and polite. Location wise is 6-8 mins to nearby subway. They gave us a subway map with hotel location. This hotel provide shutter bus to Osaka central(Umeda). Superb! This Hotel is near to Osaka Castle-20-25mins walk.

If we reach hotel after 11pm, level one will be closed. We have to call the staff to come down to open the door for us. We like travelling around Osaka by the subway and JR line, so most of the time we reach by walking. Only those taking cab will arrive at level 2 but that should not be our concern. Staff didn't inform us there is a nearby subway, instead they advised us to walk to our destination or take cab. Luckily we engage a local guide and notice nearby subway is only 6-8mins away. Some of the lights were not working in our room. Those above the place where we put our luggages. So its tough to see well during our packing of luggage. Hope they can fix it.

Gorgeous hotel and room. A little higher grade than I normally reserve, but I believe we went during their off season and their prices were extremely reasonable for the stay, so I couldn't pass it up. Impeccably clean, very large, comfortable room, polite and helpful staff. River view room was wonderful to watch the sunsets from. Easily the nicest shower I've ever seen, hotel or otherwise. No real complaints. It was the farthest accomodation to walk to the closest train station we had during out trip, but even that was a pretty walk across the bridge, only maybe about 15 minutes.

A very classic hotel with top quality staff and excellent facilities. This place lives up to its name. Top value especially given the high quality of the facilities and the extremely high professional standards their team have. Concierge very helpful in different topics. Hotel offer a complimentary shuttle bus between hotel and Osaka Station every 20 minutes, which was very convenient! Location is around 10 minute walk from two different metro stations. There is a FamilyMart at the hotel complex, while Lawson and 7-Eleven are just across the street.

If you plan to use the gym or swimming pool, expect to pay per entrance, which something I didn’t encounter in my stays in numerous different hotels. The only thing I didn’t like about my stay at Imperial Hotel Osaka.

Amazing location with amazing level of service and staff. i have been to plenty of hotels ranging from luxury to modest inns honestly this hotel is an exceptional experience. Situated by the river our upgrade suite with the river view was breathtaking. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and the room was a wonderful size. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I come back. Traveling with my elderly mom the staff made it so easy to get on and off the shuttle busy with her wheelchair and even wheeled us to our room one night because of the stuff i had in my hands. Exceptional is the only way to describe my stay.

Wished i had more time i experienced their fitness facility and pool.

Their recommendations for local dining and sightseeing were spot-on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to my trip. Facilities: The hotel boasts top-notch facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center, a serene spa, and a variety of dining options that cater to every palate. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide array of delicious dishes to start the day. Overall, the Osaka Hotel in Tokyo exceeded all my expectations. It's a perfect choice for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I can't wait to return on my next visit to Tokyo!

The Hotel is of a older style, but very grand and nice. We liked the feeling of it, it presents as something special. Professional staff and high quality food. It strives to offer a premium service. The location is somewhat away from the hustle and bustle but it is a beautiful spot and a free shuttle service is provided. As far as breakfast is concerned there is a choice of traditional Japanese on a higher floor which is very nice with spectacular views plus you can choose to have a more western menu which was very good offering lots of choice.

Lack of multimedia or streaming options.

A grand hotel which has maintained its reputation well. Service was excellent as would be expected, beautiful lobby and hotel bar (leather coaches, oak counter and a fireplace) with excellent cocktails. Rooms were lovely, good size, nice view over the city and came with amenities that were well considered such as adaptors in the room. Bed was very comfortable! I also appreciated 4 towels for 2 people and an actual soap bar. Complimentary transfers to Osaka Station is also a nice touch. The hotel is by the river and has a lovely walking route up to Osaka Castle. It is not however in the thick of "late night Osaka" neighbourhoods so something to consider depending on your preference. Would highly recommend staying here.

From the moment we walked into the beautiful hotel, the wonderful staff members greeted us with great warmth and hospitality. The river view was magnificent and the location of the hotel is very convenient. There’s a free shuttle bus to Osaka station that runs every 20 minutes and a huge shopping arcade off the main road. The food at the buffet breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Every little detail was impecable. Kamitani san (the Manager of Restaurants) was very friendly and helpful. The location, facilities and all staff were truly exceptional.

Nothing. It was perfect. I only wish we spent more time there. I’ll be coming with my husband next time!

This is a great hotel for business or leisure. I was there on business but would certainly return for a holiday. Exceptionally helpful staff - the concierge team are amazing - who will do anything they can to assist you. The location next to the river is great. The swimming pool and gym are superb. I particularly appreciated that young children are not allowed in. The room was - by Japanese hotel standards - big and very well equipped. Their location next to the river is great. A short walk to the Metro for easy access around Osaka. Great value through Booking.com.

The breakfast service could be a bit hit and miss.
