Hotel was amazing they even let us check into our room 2 hours early (pls note it might be a case by case basis). Me and my partner booked the larger room, it was very spacious and the toilet was big with a bidet and bathtub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry room was very useful, it cost 300 yen per wash and 100 yen to dry per 30 minutes. If you need change the staff at the entrance can help you. The location of the hotel is good too because it's only 5 a minute walk to the closest station, Nishinakajima-Minamigata and 10 minutes to Shin-Osaka station. There are Family Mart, Lawson and 7/11 nearby. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

It was a perfect location near the train stations. Modest accommodation, but that's all I needed. Just a bed to sleep in and a bathroom area. The price per night was reasonable as well which was great. Close to convenience stores. Lovely staff always greeted me with a smile, very helpful and hard working. Cleaners always did a great job and were respectful of my items. Definitely recommend and will highly consider another booking if I'm back in Osaka. 5 stars

My only concern, which is no one's fault. But due to the intense weather I had to keep my air-conditioning unit on most of the night otherwise I overheated. And as a result the noise kept me awake. Other than that no issues

- Nice location, just a 4-minute walk from the nearest subway station. - The area felt quiet and peaceful, with no outside noise at night. - There are also several restaurants and convenience stores nearby that stay open late, which was very convenient.

- Complimentary coffee would have been a welcome amenity. - The pillows weren’t the most comfortable for me, although my wife liked them, so it may just come down to personal preference. - The air conditioner worked well but was a bit loud, so I ended up turning it off at night.

Good location, breakfast, clean hotel. I previously stayed at Smile hotel near the Shinagawa station in Tokyo. Comparingly the one at Shinagawa, this hotel have breakfast on site and overall feels much newer, the rooms are much bigger thus more comfortable. Lots of cafes, bars and shops around, metro and shin-osaka station are both very close to the premise.

I can't recall clearly, but I think they did not have the smart system in the TV, could be nice to have it so I can watch my youtube on the big screen.

It was clean and comfortable for a single night. The bed and pillows were firm, which is how I like them and I slept well. The water was hot and had good pressure, my shower was very enjoyable. All the regular amenities seemed to be there. The breakfast was an extra cost but very affordable and included lots of options. The food was fresh. It is not a very long walk from the transit station, but not super easy with rolling luggage.

The hotel was an excellent base for us. It is ~12min walk from the large Shin-Osaka station where you can get underground trains for the city, as well as ordinary and Shinkansen trains. There are also two closer stations which are very useful for getting to/from Osaka city which are ~5 min & 7 min walk. There's a number of eateries, and 24h convenience stores. The staff were friendly, and we could converse in English much of the time. However- this comment applies across Japan and is not unique to the hotel - but typically it greatly helps to be polite and to initially greet staff with some key Japanese phrases before using English / Google translate. The hotel is no frills, and not longer offers breakfast. This suited us well as we were using it as a base to visit other cities and so we were leaving early and getting back late. There are no tourist attractions in this area - but one has such quick access into the city as well as Kyoto , Kobe, Nara etc that it means the hotel is probably cheaper , yet still you have the easy access to places to go. The cost of the hotel was very reasonable. We had a 'large' room by Japanese hotel standards - which made it more comfortable over a 2 week period. There were laundry facilities (washing and drying) - which we used several times and were not expensive.

We stayed at Smile Hotel Shin-Osaka for one night, mainly due to its close location to Shin-Osaka Station — just a short and easy walk, which was perfect as we had an early train the next day. It’s also near a metro station, which adds to the convenience. The surrounding area is quite urban and quiet, with not much going on nearby, but it felt safe. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful during both check-in and check-out. The room was clean and comfortable — just what we needed for a quick overnight stay.

Good value for money. The staff are very helpful at all times. Rooms are of a good size and beds are comfortable. Shin-Osaka station is just a 7-minute walk from the reception, which is very handy if you are taking Shinkansen in the morning for daily trips. Nishinakajima-Minamigata Metro Station is just a 2 minute walk from the reception to get to the most important landmarks in Osaka within minutes.

For the price, some sort of breakfast could have been included. Something for the hotel to take into consideration for the future. Nothing else apart from that.

Stayed for 4 nights - this is a brilliant option if you need something close to Shin-Osaka station, as it's only a 10 minute walk away. The room was clean, everything we needed was provided and the breakfasts were very good. The staff deserves additional praise. Everyone was polite, helpful and professional. They went above and beyond when I needed help sending my luggage to the next hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Smile Hotel. The hotel was very close to the train stations, which make it easy to get around Osaka. The Shinkansen station was close by, as well as the metro lines. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable and it was nice having a view! The staff were really helpful and friendly and stored our bags before we could check in. Washing machines and dryers were great and easy to use. Breakfast was good and offered lots of options. Lots of food options nearby. Thanks again for having us!
