1. about 10 min walking distance to shibuya station on a nice quiet street. 2. lots of great food options from the hotel to the main part of shibuya. ramen shop/bakery/bar right next door 3. supermarket RIGHT across from the hotel that made the location very convenient if you needed anything. 4. HUGE bonus with a washer/dryer inside the room. 5. room was spacious with enough room to lay out your luggages. 6. very clean and new, friendly staff 7. booking rates were cheap 8. they provided an electric cooker. you can actually head down to the market down the street and make yourself a meal if you wanted to. we stayed in 3 hotels on our trip and felt that we got the BEST VALUE out of Tokyu Stay. Highly recommend and would definitely come back if we came back to Japan again.

The concierge staff at Tokyu Stay Shibuya were amazing! They helped us send on our luggage to our next hotel in Kyoto (do note you need to send it 2 days prior, by 5pm, for your luggage to arrive in line with your next check in date). I also lost my credit card when I went to Azabudai Hills Team Labs exhibit (fell out of my pocket when walking in the dark) and they were able to call and find out about it for me, even left me a thorough printed message and picture of where to go and I successfully retrieved it! I'm very grateful. The room is large for Japan standards, heaps of space to open luggage and we loved having a washing machine + dryer combo inside the room.

It's about a 15 min walk from the metro which doesn't sound like a lot (or so I thought when I booked) but I underestimated the amount of walking we'd do during the day in Tokyo so by the end of a long day, when your feet are sore, the walk back to the hotel can seem much longer.

Great location just past the busiest part of Shibuya west of the station. It has western style rooms that come with a little bit of cookware such as a hot plate, a pot, a set of dishes, and an electric kettle. It was exactly as it looks in pictures and didn’t disappoint based on expectations. Easy walk to all kinds of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping.

If staying less than seven nights, limited cleaning must be requested for changing towels and taking out trash and more thorough cleaning didn’t seem to happen unless someone is there more than seven nights. Not quite what we expected but not a deal breaker.

I was really impressed with this room, spacious with a balcony (just a view of the opposite building but still), free washer/dryer, hot plate/basic cooking facilities + fridge. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Shibuya so you're close to the action but can get a breather when you want. Free coffee machine in the lobby available most of the day. We didn't do the breakfast.

Really well located for access to Shibuya scramble and station, without being in the middle of the chaos. Surrounded by tons of nice bars, restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, from check-in to sending luggage ahead, to helping print documents, to check out. Room had aircon and a washer which was very convenient for long stays.

Bedding could be a bit more comfortable in terms of pillow comfort and duvet covers securing the inner, but truly not a deal breaker.

Perfect location for our needs - in a quiet part of Shibuya, but within walking distance of lots of restaurant and bars. Room had everything we needed - loved the small kitchen area where we ended up relaxing over diner and drinks a couple of times.We also made good use of the washing machine/dryer in the room to ensure we had clean sets of clothes before the next leg of our trip. The Maruetsi shop across the road has everything you need for breakfast, snacks and drinks. The complimentary ice machine in hotel lobby came in handy. Staff was friendly and accommodating - overall, great place if you seek a hybrid hotel + kitchenette option to eat in or out.

Service was excellent - staff so happy to help, location sensational. Rooms a good size - we were a family for 3 and pretty comfortable even with our luggage! Walking distance to everything super nice little neighborhood and back streets.

Our only feedback would be if travelers arrive an hour or two early; don’t charge them. Be hospitable. We arrived 2 hours early and had to pay $90 to access the room earlier. We also checked out 5 hours early so it was a bit bittersweet.

Very efficient check in and check out, fantastic value given its room size and location.

House keeping only change towels and throw away rubbish. Rubber slippers were dirty and not cleaned properly before our stay. Duvet cover not cotton (satin material?), there's only a fitted sheet between us and the duvet.

Hotel is newly renovated and clean. Rooms are spacious for Tokyo standards and there is a two-in-one washer/dryer in your room which you do not have to pay extra for, which is a big plus! Free laundry detergent is also provided. Service is great as I had my luggage delivered from a different city to the hotel, and the staff immediately stored it in my hotel room so I did not have to go through the hassle of lugging the luggage myself. Location is close to a lot of small restaurants/izakayas/bars but still is peaceful at night. Not a far walk from the hustle and bustle of Dougenzaka, Shibuya if you prefer something more lively.

Location is a bit far from Shibuya Station and you would need to trek up a hill to get there. Hotel is close to Shinsen Station though, however, if you are changing lines through Shibuya bear in mind that you would most likely need to pay extra.

The person who checked us in was very friendly! The room is pretty spacious compared to other properties. Great location! 15 min walk away from Shibuya’s center but far enough to be away from the craziness. If you’re too lazy to walk, you can take Inokashira line from Shibuya and it’s only one stop. All of my friends loved this place. Having lived in Tokyo for so long before, it was difficult to choose accommodation because I was so picky about the area. I would definitely go back.
