Very beautiful resort close to Lisbon. We booked a suite with balcony and nice views of the golf course. There were 2 outdoor pools which were too cold to use, and an additional large indoor heated pool which my daughter loved. The Michelin restaurants were closed since it was low season, only the pan Asian restaurant and the Spanish/Portuguese restaurants were open. Our room was newly renovated and very comfortable.

The quality of the food at the restaurants could be better. We had high expectations since it’s a Ritz Carlton property. However the taste of the food at the tapas restaurant was way under par compared to the food we had during our one week trip to Portugal. We ate at the resort for convenience. But if we stayed longer we would rather go out to eat.

Fantastic resort located in a stunning location. Incredible staff and a wide range of services. In a word, it has everything you need to be in complete relaxation and enjoy nature!

We stayed in room 376, there was a constant noise and banging from the service (freight) elevator that could be clearly heard.

Our room was spacious with a nice balcony and the bathroom was very large with a separate shower and bath tub. I loved the gym which was equipped with the newest TechnoGym workout stations. The property was just beautiful and we took long walks through quiet wooded areas. The spa was fantastic and the front desk immediately arranged for a free transportation anywhere on the property. A very unique and wonderful feature is that one never has to leave the property for world class dining. With two Michelin Star restaurants and several other great options for fine dining or more casual dining, this hotel truly stands out. The staff went beyond their call of duty to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Very nice pool area, great restaurants and tasty breakfast. A large property to take long walks, and an absolutely breath-taking golf course. It is a plus that the hotel has free chargers for electric cars.

The deluxe rooms are 42 m2, that said they feel somehow very small because of the layout and size of the furniture. A breakfast is still 11 am but gets very packed on a weekend between 10-11. I would definitely recommend to extend the breakfast hours till 12 pm on weekends, otherwise the staff is not able to offer 5* breakfast like on other days. On a little minus side, there are 6 or 7 electric car chargers, but since it is a self parking and if you arrive late to the hotel, you miss the spot and have to wait till the car owners decide to leave and move their car. I would suggest EV charges are to be used only by valet staff that can change the cars that are being charged.

The landscapes surrounding hotel are stunning. You are in the middle of natural reserve park, with a 16th century monastery besides. Facilities are top notch, people serving you totally amazing, so much smiles, warmth and attention you get, that you start feeling like the most appreciated guest. For the Easter Holliday hotel organized for kids the bouncing castle, table and floor football, animator Lion greeting kids in the morning. The play room is full of slides and equipment for smaller ones. Gym is next level with fantastic views to the park and pool.

I saw in comments before booking the hotel, that indoor pool is quite cold. It is around 28C, good for the intensive swimming, but extra 2degrees would make a huge difference to enjoy it more. As it is shallow, 1meter depth and kids enjoy to play there, but temperature could be improved. But we also have to think of ecological aspects.

I liked everything, from the staff welcoming us when we arrived at the hotel (with cold drinks and a special kids check-in, which my son loved a lot) to the end of our holidays. All the staff were polite and tried their best to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Our special thanks are to Alexandra and Pankaj, who served us breakfast. They were always friendly and very attentive to all our needs/ requests. All our family enjoyed our holidays and left with a wish to get back.

Nothing to mention

The Breakfast spread was absolutely amazing, there were multiple variety for all choices to fill an omelet, eggs any style, bacon, potatoes, cheeses and sweet dessert cakes and pastry treats. The captains and service staff were extremely attentive and really professional and polite. They catered to all questions and provided answers graciously.

There is nothing bad to say, but to say that there were a lack of shopping, stores were closed on Sundays and Mondays except for one merchant.

A proper 5-star hotel, with excellent welcoming at the entrance and reception. Beautiful building, renovated and maintained, surrounded by an even more beautiful golf course and natural areas. Plenty of things to do, including for young kids.

The quality of food and service in the restaurants (excluding breakfast) was very disappointing. Even more so when you consider the prices that are super high for Portugal.

they should improve better the costumer services when comes to some of their crew member, seriously had a very bad experience with few and they should improve the costumer service at the call center as well

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, I can't stress that enough. The resort is so beautiful you feel like you're in a painting. The room was spacious and the breakfast was one of the best I've had.

While in my room, I could hear every word said in the adjacent room. This was really not cool, imagine waking up at 3 AM because of parents and children screaming at each other.
