Very clean and comfortable, kettle in the room with tea, coffee and milk. Quiet too despite being right at the M62!!

Couldn’t fault it. The only downside is that it is right at the side of the motorway. Noisy when window is open but what do you expect? Soon as the window is closed, there is no noise at all. Breakfast - Just want to be clear, we did not pay for breakfast as we had seen the reviews beforehand, and this is what breakfast looks like. I think you need to preorder what you want for the morning and it will be placed on the rack for you to pick up in reception.

Amazing room, lovely location next to The Nags Head. Room was located on pub side but could hardly hear any noise from the pub or any road noise. Room was a good size and very clean. Absolutely loved my stay, only wish I could have stayed longer.

There was only a tiny bit of toilet roll when we arrived and we were in the room for a large portion of our second day (only stayed two nights) so didn’t want room service coming in- was probably something someone should have checked and put an extra one in before we came, but we had spare with us so all was well.

I have stayed here numerous times, always a warm welcome , staff are very accommodating, I use it as a base as I travel round the area visiting. Beds are so comfy, spacious room, plenty hot water for a nice shower after a day's exploring. Noise is usually at a minimum usually my room is upstairs , but this time I was on the ground floor and very little noise was heard from next door or upstairs. Hotel is located at the topofa Hill, beautiful views. W.ill be returning in a few months time for more exploration Thanks very much to the staff.

Great value for money. Comfortable bed. Good sized room. The hotel is quite small therefore very easy to move around. Plenty of parking. Nags Head offers really tasty food. Basic take away breakfast available. Very nice welcome from the staff. It's easy to get to, just off the M62. Taxis are cheap and can be booked at the hotel reception.

Stains on the sofa. The smoking area outside the main entrance is unappealing (especially the stubbing out pods). This makes the arrival approach much less appealing than it should be.

lovely hotel, i had booked the family room all clean tidy and looked the part, shower towels hair dryer free WiFi, breakfast was a pick and go. frendly staff on arrival and leaving the next day, i was a little worried being close to the motorway but my room was quiet, the Nags head pub was next door 10sec walk. if i was local to huddersfield again i will 100% this for sure be staying here a good hotel at a good price i havent uploaded and photo(s) of the hotel below for booking.com site as the hotel / picture you view/see are the actual room(s) you get side note> nice pub, good food but very small portion size for the price(s)

Although it used to be a premium inn and still has the remnants of one, it is situated close to all road links. There is a public house within a few yards of the hotel and is not over busy and does fabulous meals. The room itself was very quiet, considering how close it is to the M62, excellent comfortable king-size bed , spacious bathroom, and good size television.

We were not too keen on the grab and go breakfast, although there was a fairly good choice. Toilet requires a soft closing seat, and on arrival, it may be a good idea to ask for an extra key as they operate all the lights in the room.

The breakfast was a grab n go breakfast ordered the night before. The bacon rolls we ordered were excellent. There were also pastries and yogurts with coffee or hot chocolate. Given the lack of space for a breakfast area, they did a good job. The only thing was that my husband had to make several trips to the breakfast area to get everything because I was not physically able to walk to pick up everything.

The lack of a lift. It was lucky that I was on a ground floor room, as I had hurt my knee and stairs would have been impossible. Having said that I think the hotel was sufficiently accommodating that they would have swapped us to a downstairs room if needed.

I booked this for friends who were visiting - a family of 6, including 2 parents & 4 children. They were delighted with their overnight stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, booking them into adjacent rooms. Although the rooms were next to the M62 motorway they could not hear the traffic because the windows have good double glazing. They were especially pleased with the breakfast and all chose the bacon sandwiches and said the bacon was delicious. There was plenty of other food as well and they found it difficult to eat everything. They were also pleased that they could eat in the privacy their own rooms, although there is a small dining area in the hotel. All in all a very pleasant stay to be recommended.

Everything was clean, tidy, spacious and staff were very friendly.

The only thing we didn’t like is that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was a very hot night when we stayed. Because of the noises of the motorway next to the hotel we could not leave the windows opened in the night. A fan was provided but that was just moving the hot air in the room around. Because of this we didn’t sleep well as it was just too hot in the room.

The super friendly staff. The fact that it’s an ex Premier inn so has all the quality and consistency that goes with that. Easy access to both Halifax and Huddersfield

The fire alarm going off at half past midnight! I was told it was a customer using an aerosol but suspect the sensors are just super sensitive. A very slight feeling of being due for a makeover? Slight staining of carpet, the beginnings of mold on tiles, but nothing serious and I would go back again.
