Great staff. Breakfast had so many options, it was amazing. Clean room and comfortable bed.

I don't understand the horrible perfume you spray in the lobby. Everyday I would hold my breath as I get from the elevator to outside. It is an overwhelming smell.

There were plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping centers, and attractions within walking distance. Check-In (10/10): The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and I didn't have to wait too long to get my room key. Room (7/10): The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the selection of pillows provided. The room's size was adequate, but it felt a bit compact, especially if you have large luggage. Amenities (8/10): The hotel offered a good range of amenities, including a 24-hour fitness center, which was well-equipped for a quick workout. The complimentary breakfast was decent with a variety of options to suit different tastes, although it could get crowded during peak hours. Noise Levels (9/10): Despite being in a bustling area, the room was surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Wi-Fi (7/10): The Wi-Fi signal in the room was decent, but at times it could be a bit slow and inconsistent. It was sufficient for basic browsing and emails but may not be ideal for heavy internet usage. Value for Money (8/10): Considering the location and overall comfort, the hotel provided reasonable value for money. However, keep in mind that Singapore can be expensive, and you might find other options at a similar price point. In conclusion, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Novena Hotel Singapore was enjoyable and met my expectations for a comfortable and convenient stay. Hotel service team - polite, attentive, helpfull, cheerful. The receptionist Mr Sim helps us alot. Atmosphere - simple and delightful. Hotel color theme is matchy and gave us very pleasant feeling upon entering the building Breakfast - very good, came with scramble eggs, hashbrowns, vegetarian mushrooms, assorted breads, butters & jams, fruits, porridge, salads and local foods (changed daily). We were also served with varieties of hot & cold drinks. To take note it is a "No pork no lard" buffet breakfast. Inside the hotel room - the room size is consider big as compared with others. Bed is very comfortable, came with 2 sets of soft and firm pillows. Light control switches just around the headboard. Came with two USB type A charging points. Basic room amenities - hangers with clips, iron, iron board, small electric kettle, cups, coffee & sugars, safety box, mini fridge (empty within). TV with local channels, and some popular channels such as HBO, MTV, worldnews, BBC etc. Mini alarm clock, reading lights, phone is also available Basic toiletries - equipped with basic toothbrushes and toothpaste, glasses, shower gel, shampoo & conditioners, toilet papers. Towels are provided in 3 sizes too. No bath robes, but it is fine for us. Location - Apart from private transfer, can choose to take bus 130 or 145 to town (orchard, bugis etc). Walking distance of 2 to 3 min to the nearest bus stops. Bus journey approx 30min to Bugis. Probably a walk for 15 to 20min by foot from hotel to nearest Novena MRT. Others - laundry room, gym room, and swimming pool is an additional facilities to the stay. 🤩 Suitable for business travelling (with taxi) or self exploring the town (with bus).

The room was small but clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. There is some highway noise, however, ear plugs were helpful and the hotel itself was very quiet. The pool was small, but worked well for a quick cool-off. The location was excellent with two bus stops steps from the hotel with buses to take you anywhere you need to go. The Novena MRT is about a 15-minute walk, but the bus will take you to the MRT stations as well. There are stores, restaurants and shopping centers all within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was expansive with an excellent variety, and hotel staff was kind and helpful. This hotel is a good value.

Neat and clean environments. Reception staff was very helpful in guidance about Singapore sight seeing.

There is a requirement of proper cafe cum Resturant at the hotel premise as nearby Restaurants are bit far.

Everything was good and nice, the front desk was exectional, i arrived much earlier and fortunatelly i got room so i can check in much earlier than expected

Cant do much about this but apparently my neighbour was so loud at night, they book two rooms, across from mine and the other one was next to me. Keep going back fort from room to room for more than 10 times and was noisy at 1am++. I did knock and ask them to lower their voice, but well didnt do much. This got nothing to do with the hotel tho, just want to rant a bit hahah as i need to check out around 4 am ish to catch a plane so it a bit annoying 😭 but overall i like the hotel the staff was nice and helpfull, especially the front desk!

Rooms & wash rooms were very clean. Daily house keeping was done and everything was refilled properly. I specially booked this hotel as it had a Bidet Shower in the wash rooms. The rooms are small but as per Singapore standards it was ok. It was mentioned as 19sq met. It must be inclusive of the wash room. Little bit away from the center. But we booked this place as we got 2 rooms for the same price compared to as per hotels closer to the center & it is of much advantage to have more space for a stay. The traveling cost would have been a little bit more but we didn't mind it as we always travelled by GRAB taxis only. Mr. Rosh at the reception was kind enough to give us an early check-in & a late checkout. Thank you so much for giving this facility.

Breakfast was same every single day for the 4 days we stayed. I think this has to be changed as guests who stays for longer periods would not be happy about this .

The room was very clean and nice, we had big windows (from floor to ceiling) which provided a great view even when laying in bed. The bed was very comfortable and they provided 2 sets of hard and soft pillows. The breakfast was also very good and there were plenty of options to choose from and it was a bit different every day. Transport to Marina Bay Sands or Gardens by the Bay was not the best, as you have to take 1 bus and change 2 subway trains, but since transportation in Singapore is so efficient and convenient it was not really that hard, and we usually could reach our destination within 50min. The big plus is that the bus station is right next to the hotel.

Location are near to to amenities and buses to centres. Very Clean and roomy room was perfectly look after daily for the sixteen days staying them. I would like mention names if I am allowed to. These are the staff I got in contact with . A GREAT SURPRISE THEY holds MANAGER POST! I felt so proud too !

Staffs are friendly and always greeting you with a smile when approaching! This is a very good concept! There is staff wishing you “Welcome back to hotel” and Have a good night rest. How marvelous is these! Surprise,y and never happen before. Found out that management position, serving breakfast among the breakfast staff sixteen days when I was there with a smile and friendly gesture. Never happened in other hotel I have had stayed.

All the staff were very welcoming nothing was any bother for them. The room was spacious with tea & coffee facilities, iron with ironing board . Shower had all very good product for bathing and washing your hair also a hairdryer. Small Laundry room next to the pool area . And It had a gym . Breakfast was self serve as much as you wished and the choices were unbelievable . Hotel had a bar in the lobby for lunch and evening meals. Late checkout was a plus 1 o'clock marvellous 👍 we Sat in the bar had some lovely lunch and coffee before our flight very chilled .

15 min walk for the train wasn't great in the heat, but a taxi was an option we used and was only 7 dollar 😳
