I was surprised at how much I enjoyed sleeping in a space pod for a few days. I’ve stayed in hostels before and am use to sharing a room with strangers but I did like how the space pod offered extra privacy. I’m someone who often doesn’t stay our late and am content with a early quick night in, watching a film on my phone so I liked I could put the blind on my space pod down and do that without intruding on anyone. I can’t vouch for the location, since I don’t know Singapore well enough to know if it’s a good spot. But I had no issues with it, it was near 2-3 underground stations that were around 10 minutes away by walking. Not to mention bus stops nearby, so it was quick to find ways to get into downtown or other parts of Singapore and public transport is so easy and simple to use. And if you are one of those people that like to talk to people while staying at a hostel, this might not be the place for you. Maybe it’s because I stayed in a spacepod. But it’s the only hostel I’ve visited where a lot of the guests don’t interact with each other. I’ve been in hostels where you get talking to the people you share a room with, there was none of that. It could be because the space pod offers your own personal space and privacy. It’s not necessary a negative, it just depends what you want out of your experience.

The bathrooms. They weren’t bad, but a lot had the shower and toilet in one room, and the shower was just a shower head. It meant the floor was wet and in some rooms the walls as well. And it didn’t offer much space or room to place the clean clothes you want to change into after having a shower. This was a minor issue though.

The space pod is really cool! The place is very clean, and it has everything you need. The rooms have air-conditioning, lockers, slippers, and towels. The staff are kind. You can launder your clothes for free after 18:00. They also have a drier. Plenty of showers and toilets available. There is a fridge where you can store your drinks. There is a fridge filled with drinks which you can pay for cheap. The location is quite oke, you will need to walk a bit to the Metros, but that is fine. The beds are provided with an internal fans, usb port, power port, and a small table. To me the bed was comfy.

Not a bad thing per se, but there are permanent residents there that will launder their clothes often. You will have to be quick to be able to launder your stuff. The same permanent residents will use the fridge as if it is their home (which basically kinda is).

Comfortable, clean and private sleeping environment inside the pods. The staff keeps the accommodation clean and organized. For us the best experience was meeting Abe, the manager. We received a lovely welcome by her at our checking in and enjoyed the interactions with her throughout our stay. We actually extended our stay two times. Abe is a real asset of this property. The other staff seems to be nice too but we did not have much interaction with them.

There are lockers in the room but they are not big enough to keep a small suitcase in them. Some smaller chairs in the rooms and a sofa set in the shared lounge room could make a stay there more comfortable.

Appreciated the kindness of the staff and the possibilty to leave our luggae both before the checkin and after the checkout.

It feels a bit unsafe to see people not being accomodated there during the night sleeping on the tables / couches. The toilets shouldn’t be shared!!! They barely are enough for the number of rooms in there. You get what you pay for given the price ranges in SG. The intentions of the accommodation are really good, but putting them in practice is a bit hard.

The people working there were absolutely lovely, it was a pleasure to see their smiling faces :) Thank you for that! The hostel was clean, had good amenities, free laundry, a tea/coffee station and an adorable fat cat The location was great, lots of restaurants in a walking distance and 3 MRT stations. We liked to walk to the city center passing by different districts and stopping by at various food joints and it would usually take us just a bit over an hour Regardless of it being a hostel, the beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet at night but you could still hear the neighbors moving/snoring in the other pods but it's not a big deal Overall our one week spent there was a wonderful experience!

-The staff are very nice and accomodating -Comfortable clean capsule beds -Spacious Rooms where there's no big bags and luggages blocking the way -I like the spacious toilet and bath combined. Others are separate. -Free coffee all day. U can do laundry. Bus stops are near going to orchard, bugis and marina bay sands. Peaceful environment.

It's my 2nd time to stay here, usually for 12 to 15 days and I can't think of any that I didn't like. The owner Tony is very hands on with the hostel. I hope that the staff will never get tired of maintaining the hostel coz I will definitely stay here again when I get back soon.

Staying at Spacepod@hive made my family’s stay in Singapore very convenient and wonderful! - The place was super accessible. You can cross the street and find the nearest bus stop. The Lavender MRT is also only a few minutes walk from the hostel. - If you’re on a budget, it is also very near food places like Adam’s Corner where you can buy meals for less than S$10. - My husband and I were also able to do laundry with free soap from the hostel. The area has a hair dryer and iron for clothes too. - They have free coffee and cereal drinks at the pantry, and you can place some stuff on the big fridge. They also sell very affordable drinks at the lobby. - The staff were very friendly and accommodating! They also let us leave our bags a few hours after checkout since our flight is still late in the evening. - Aaand the cost of staying here is the cheapest so you can save your budget for whole lot other attractions.

Great service, very helpful reception lady, fairly good location close to 2 different MRT lines (you can pay with card) and a bunch of good food places, nice comfy pods, lockers for backpacks, clean showers, kitchen facilities, free tea, coffee, water refill and snacks, luggage storage and some tables for food/work in the lobby.

Power outlet in the pod was unable to hold the phone charger, some hooks and shelfs in the shower will be appreciated

The hostel was as good as you expect when booking the cheapest hostel for 2 people in Singapore. All in all it was adequate for our needs. Staff were very good. Well located near to several MRTs and buses Fortunate to not be in a dorm with any of the ‘permanent’ hostel users

Odorous at times in communal areas due to some of the ‘guests’ Back door to bathroom area seemed to always be open ‘Guests’ often prompted open dorm doors removing the safety aspect of key card access

Comfortable quiet stay in a dorm room with several "pods". Hostel had all the facilities you'd expect (kitchen, water, WiFi, laundry, lockers, enough bathrooms & showers, etc.) Everything working fine. Close to restaurants, shops, MRT and malls. Pods are cool, have curtain, charging sockets, miniature table, lights, etc. I would stay here again.

Common area looks tired and old, but it's fine.
