We were at Mercure Avignon TGV for business and leisure and were pleasantly surprised at the modern decor of our room with soft pillows and beds, plenty of storage, great lighting, desk space and bathroom. Good towel drying rails too. We were pleasantly surprised also by the buffet breakfast which enabled me to find GF foods I could eat. Nespresso coffee nice too.. This hotel is situated in an industrial area of Avignon so it was a treat to find it had nice facilities and food. By

We didn't have a good Internet connection so had to ask for a better one. This should have been offered when we checked in. We also didn't like the disposable paper cups and cutlery so brought some up to our room to use. No tea tastes nice in a paper cup!

The hotel was newish, clean and had a good vibe. We had a junior suite (not quite as luxurious as it sounds) but gave us space. Balcony was good and the spa was very nice although we thought it was included with the junior suite price, but not so and we had to pay. Restaurant was also nice, which is good as you are quite trapped by the location.

The lift was slow and always full of staff. We couldn’t use the stairs as couldn’t work out how to open the door. We weren’t alone in this! Other lifts were a distance away which was a nuisance. Location isn’t great. Nothing around the hotel and the station is a hot exposed 10-12 minute walk. No shelves in the shower for your own products so there’s a bend and stretch workout for you there.

Conveniently situated about a 10 minute walk from the TGV station. Check in was both friendly and efficient and the staff were very helpful. In fact, in the days before arriving I had had a couple of questions and both were answered very quickly and helpfully. The room was large and had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable. The pool is a good size and well maintained and was very welcome on one of the hottest days of the year.

If I was picky, the breakfast choice could have been a bit bigger but maybe I was just a bi5 late.

I love that the hotel is dog friendly, that's why I booked it. Very friendly staff, nice and comfortable room, great toiletries! I thought the kitchenette was a nice touch. Great balcony. Secure parking. This is a nice hotel!

There were too many sounds at night to say it's sound proof, as advertised, but it was mostly ok. Semi-sound proof, maybe? I don't recommend the room service if you have allergies. despite assurances I got food I'm allergic to sent up... Oh, and the layout of the room is strange. No bathroom door. Toilet in a separate room with no sink. It's strange, but not bad. I would still recommend this hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed here for one night while passing through, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is easily accessible and offers free, secured outdoor parking, which is a great plus. Upon arrival, I received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The room was comfortable, with a good shower and high-quality Nuxe products, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was well taken care of, with a variety of options to choose from. The entire staff was kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

It was super welcoming, the pool was great (heated). Our bed was comfy, the shower great and we enjoined a terrific meal and bottle of wine on a Sunday night served by charming staff. We had thought if it as a stopover because we were taking the TGV back to Paris the next day and could park the hire car overnight for a stress free return BUT if I returned to Avignon I would choose to stay here over a hotel in the old town because it such good value, has such nice staff and a fabulous pool (and spa though we didn’t try that). The breakfast buffet was also amazing.

Room was good, and comfortable; unusual layout which I cannot say I favor. Not too far from train station. Overall, a good value and I would stay again.

The restaurant was good (dinner and breakfast), but not as good as the price should demand. We took a taxi from the train station to the hotel and got over charged (about 10€ for 1K) so we walked the next day and found the sidewalks and street crossings less than great for rolling a suitcase (cannot blame the hotel for the taxi driver or pedestrian pathways).

Staff were really helpful. For a large hotel chain it felt intimate and we were looked after by the staff. It was very close (short walk away) from Avignon train station and car rental, which was very convenient. I liked the paper cups and tea/coffee sachets in the rooms, they have made a real effort to cut down plastic use and be more sustainable. The outdoor area was comfortable and relaxing. The room was modern, large & really comfy.

There were limited vegetarian choices on the dinner menu, it would be good to have at least 1 veggie starter & 1 main course. Staff were very accommodating to try & make some dishes veggie. The windows in the room could be improved as you could hear the traffic quite clearly at night.

Wonderful room, very comfortable bed, great air conditioning. The hotel resataurant has good food and is quite good with vegetables. The staff is exceptional. My husband has a bad back and they went out of their way to get us in the room as soon as possible, and also to let us stay in the air conditioning for a couple of extra hours before our train. They were so kind and helpful, we cannot say enough good things about them.

The property have very nice person at reception, she offers a bigger cushion for our dog. Also nice pleasant staff in the bar.

The floor is like to be sticky in the room it is the same on the breakfast floor, maybe it was only on this two days, and please change the coffee machine if you select the cappuccino the machine put also the cocoa inside..the breakfast can be richer with some fresh vegetables…
