Nice little hotel with a nostalgic atmosphere. Lovely garden. In walking distance to the railway station and to Avignon center. Each room had a piece of lovely furniture, we had a round table with a cast iron leg and a marble top. The same is replicated in a lot of cafeterias and such, but with inox/plastic leg and plastic top. It is lovely to see the original. The beds were very good, the bathroom had a tub not a standing shower and the room had a small balcony with view to the garden. Very friendly and helpful staff, I used the opportunity to improve my French (my choice, English was spoken as well).

The room leading out to the garden made our stay perfect, and thanks to the owners for granting our request at the time of booking. The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting less touristy places to visit. All facilities were clean and well provided for and the rooms were cleaned every day during our stay. The vending machine providing chilled water and beer was welcome on arrival. The hotel is a short walk to the town so we were able to wander in and out during the day, at our leisure.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming hotel in Avignon. Despite arriving during the busy arts festival and a period of intense summer heat, everything was calm, cool, and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with fully functioning air-conditioning which was a real blessing! While the bathroom was quite small, it didn’t bother us at all. The main house was beautifully decorated with a true Provençal flair, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. They were always available, warmly patient with our school-level French, and helped with everything from storing luggage to putting items in the fridge. The location was also ideal, walking distance from both the train station and the city centre, yet tucked just far enough away from the bustle to feel peaceful.

Honestly, there’s very little we’d change. If we had to mention one thing, perhaps the room décor could have had a touch more charm to match the rest of the property, but even that felt minor. The garden, where breakfast is served, was a lovely bonus and added to the homely, relaxed atmosphere. Everything worked as it should, the shower, air-conditioning, and facilities were reliable and clean. The ease of access to Avignon’s magical streets and festival scene made our stay even more special.

The hotel rooms all have air conditioning. The staff are very nice and willing to speak English with you even if they won’t admit to being fine speakers of English. The breakfast buffet offered is very basic but nicely arranged and a good value. It was enjoyable to be in the garden while having some coffee and pastries. The hotel is outside of the walls of Avignon but is a short walk away from the main city center area. The location is relatively quiet and calm.

The parking can be tight and one might have an issue with the parallel parking that is required on the street. I believe private parking is an extra cost.

We had a late check-in and a code for the front door was provided, and our key with directions on how to find our room were left in an envelope at the reception. The family room was huge, with two separate rooms and a corridor with bathroom separating the two. The room was very basic but immaculate. The breakfast buffet was great and the lady was very kind and friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We did not reserve parking, but there was plenty of space in the road outside the hotel. There is also a big car park at the end of the street. I would definitely recommend this address.

Nice older hotel that has been well maintained with historic charm. The hotel has a small garden area in the back with seating and tables to enjoy a drink or a little quiet time. The hotel is a short 10-15 minute walk to the heart of Avignon and is minutes to the train station.

The breakfast was quite sparse, it would have been nice to have the option of fresh fruit and eggs.

Lovely garden and easy access to drive to just outside the walls. Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice to sit and picnic in the garden after a day of sightseeing.

We were in a room in the garden extension which was fine, comfortable, clean but lacked the charm of the older part of the hotel. The trade off was it was easier for my dog to stretch his legs in the garden.

The hotel were very accommodating with a late check-in which worked perfectly. The garden is lovely. We arrived late so sat in the garden eating our supper as it got dusk. There were swifts flying overhead and it was very calm and atmospheric. The perfect antidote to a busy day of travel. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our breakfast in the garden the following morning. Very handy for the train station; just a ten minute stroll away. The staff were lovely and very responsive to messages before our arrival.

The hotel is a short walk away from the walled town, it was very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating with some great recommendations.

The room was a little out of date and the shower was over a bath which wouldn't work for some individuals. Also there was quite a gap under the room door into the corridor which could make things noisy when the hotel is full.

We liked the hosts - the were hospitable and helpful. The room opens into the pleasant garden. the hotel is located in 15 min walking from the railway station.

You have to understand that the way to the center of the city will take at least 20 min. The second - the rooms are situated outside, near the garden: so you can be bothered by noisy neighbours )
