We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Arc-en-Ciel! It is truly a treasure at the end of the rainbow! You will be lucky if you can find it too! The location is great, out of the hustle-bustle, but easy to get to downtown Colmar. We walked easily each day of our stay! Then, we must thank the “Dream Team”, as they call themselves! They truly are exceptional, each member of the staff made us feel at home, welcome, and we felt their true hospitality! Thank you again, to each dream team member! Thank you, Leo, for your extra help in explaining little French phrases… The terrace was so nice to relax in, the breakfast was superb.. a fine array of quality offerings, but also the ambiance of the breakfast room/outside area too. Our room was clean, right temperature, super comfortable bed, big shower, soft towels. If we could give this hotel an “11” out of 10, we would! Merci beaucoup from the Canadians!

The staff was so friendly and always ready to help. The lady at reception even brought us a bucket of ice to chill a bottle of wine we bought and kindly helped open it, which we really appreciated (especially since the hotel has its own bar). Check-in and check-out were super quick, and we felt very welcomed from the start.

The bathroom was a bit small, and the toilet and shower were in separate rooms. The toilet didn’t have its own sink, which was a little inconvenient. But overall, it still had all the basics we needed (shower gel, soap, etc.) and was absolutely fine for a short stay.

The room was very nice and very clean and the bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable - the welcome was warm and helpful and the breakfast the following morning looked very good but we were in a rush and couldn't have breakfast there. The location is excellent and a short walk into the old town centre where there are plenty of nice eateries.

The only small minor detraction from the stay in the room, was the very small room. It was fine for a one night stay with no luggage but would have been difficult if we had been staying longer and needing more luggage access

Breakfast was very good, a lot of bakery, choice of fruits and vegetables, salmon, avocado, good coffee. Decorations on breakfast terrace and halls. Very clean and organised hotel, coffee machine in a room. Free room category rise on booking. Good quality-to-price ratio. Free Parking.

1. Shower curtain sticked when showering. 2. Late check-in organization was a bit difficult for me (required a phone call and was asked exact arrival time). I would prefer just written instruction in Booking. 3. Breakfast: boiling eggs by ourselves was a good addition, but it required time for boiling and cooling, so we skipped it (would be nice if some number of eggs were already boiled:). Everything else was perfect.

As we traveled with our dog, I guess we got to get the room next to the stairs, which was no big deal at all! Not noisy though. Room were small and clean, including a small cute Coffe Machine (Nespresso), Shower and Toilet were fine too, so for two three nights, no dramas. Breakfast was awesome, lots of different stuff to choose, including coffee selections and Milk, also pancake maker and lots of cakes.......already try to find a next Date for a trip down this way... To short time spent at the City and Spot itself

The fact it was walking distance to the downtown area was the reason we booked this hotel. Free parking was important as we were driving & the room although very compact was clean and the bed although tight was comfortable. We decided to buy the breakfast both mornings and we are very glad we did… there’s a lot of variety and the various coffee options were a nice touch! Reasonable value at $13 euros per person…..

The room was on the small side which was a bit of a surprise to us when we first checked in…. We got over it!

This hotel deserves more than 2 stars. It is an older building but with a new, modern & fresh interior design. The room was small but immaculate and you had everything you needed. Since we were out and about exploring Colmar all day we didn't mind the size of the room. The staff were very lovely and helpful! My highlight was the amazing breakfast buffet <3 From fresh apple tart, cakes, brownies, pancake maker to musli bar and anything else you can imagine. This breakfast was much better than some buffets in higher rated hotels. The walk from the hotel to the city center was about 10 minutes.

I didn't like that we didn't stay another night and had breakfast there again :)

Nice hotel with small but comfortable rooms. No AC, but there was a very convenient fan. It's in 15 min. walking distance to historical part of Colmar. On the backside, they have a café/bar where you can confortably sit and enjoy your drinks outside. All of the staff were incredibly friendly: we checked in 1 hr. earlier and next they after check out, they told us that we can leave our car at the parking lot if we're going to the town and use the bathrooms afterwards.

Everything was fine.

The staff was welcoming and the location is reasonably placed with parking. It was easy to find and just 15 minutes walk from the centre and 8 minute drive from the lake-beach. The room was small but functional and the amenities were generously provided and worked well. The room was also tidied and cleaned everyday despite us not staying for very long, which surprised us. The shower was refreshing and unique as they use a water saving technology, which in my opinion worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly with the attractions and festivals around. The bed was comfortable and we could rest well since the sound-proofing of the hotel is also decent!

Nothing to complain.

We stayed there 2 nights and it was great. Breakfast was excellent, the hotel staff was wonderful and the free parking was a huge plus for us 😃. The room was clean and they also provide us with free hot wine and some snacks! We highly recommend the place!

The heat isolation could be improved, also the bathroom ( the WC space- as it is split into two different compartiments) could have a source of heating - not a big deal but it might be inconvenient sometimes. Pillows could be changed into something a little bit softer.
