We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Arc-en-Ciel! It is truly a treasure at the end of the rainbow! You will be lucky if you can find it too! The location is great, out of the hustle-bustle, but easy to get to downtown Colmar. We walked easily each day of our stay! Then, we must thank the “Dream Team”, as they call themselves! They truly are exceptional, each member of the staff made us feel at home, welcome, and we felt their true hospitality! Thank you again, to each dream team member! Thank you, Leo, for your extra help in explaining little French phrases… The terrace was so nice to relax in, the breakfast was superb.. a fine array of quality offerings, but also the ambiance of the breakfast room/outside area too. Our room was clean, right temperature, super comfortable bed, big shower, soft towels. If we could give this hotel an “11” out of 10, we would! Merci beaucoup from the Canadians!

This hotel deserves more than 2 stars. It is an older building but with a new, modern & fresh interior design. The room was small but immaculate and you had everything you needed. Since we were out and about exploring Colmar all day we didn't mind the size of the room. The staff were very lovely and helpful! My highlight was the amazing breakfast buffet <3 From fresh apple tart, cakes, brownies, pancake maker to musli bar and anything else you can imagine. This breakfast was much better than some buffets in higher rated hotels. The walk from the hotel to the city center was about 10 minutes.

I didn't like that we didn't stay another night and had breakfast there again :)

The staff was welcoming and the location is reasonably placed with parking. It was easy to find and just 15 minutes walk from the centre and 8 minute drive from the lake-beach. The room was small but functional and the amenities were generously provided and worked well. The room was also tidied and cleaned everyday despite us not staying for very long, which surprised us. The shower was refreshing and unique as they use a water saving technology, which in my opinion worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly with the attractions and festivals around. The bed was comfortable and we could rest well since the sound-proofing of the hotel is also decent!

We stayed there 2 nights and it was great. Breakfast was excellent, the hotel staff was wonderful and the free parking was a huge plus for us 😃. The room was clean and they also provide us with free hot wine and some snacks! We highly recommend the place!

The heat isolation could be improved, also the bathroom ( the WC space- as it is split into two different compartiments) could have a source of heating - not a big deal but it might be inconvenient sometimes. Pillows could be changed into something a little bit softer.

Warm welcome and very friendly staff. Great location with parking so that we could walk into Colmar in the evening (encouraged by locals on environmental grounds). Room was very comfortable with unique touches and decor, but the most compelling reason to stay here (other than it is Colmar) is for the hotel breakfast. Truly the Best in the World - croissants, fresh bread and fruit all as expected in France, but fresh tarts, multiple types of tea, jams, meat, cheese, gluten-free, olives, cereals, espresso machine... amazing. You may see photos online of this property, but it is far better than the images show so don't be put off.

The welcome was amazing. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate for our stay . Breakfast was fantastic it surpassed anything I have had even in 5 star hotels. The selection of products were top quality. The hotel is family run and it shows , Leo was incredible , I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If your look in for luxury rooms this is not the place , the luxury is with the staff , the breakfast and the ambiance. The hotel is very well situated for the town , just a short stroll. Perfect

Hello again to the Arc En Ciel Colmar Hotel Team, First of all, I have called the hotel before the departure from Manchester to double check all details and also mentioning that we are going to arrive at the Hotel around 23:00-00:00 . I am sorry I don't remember the young gentleman's name but he waited for us at that late hour opening the door for us and giving all the details in terms of Breakfast. Also the rest of the staff(ladies) in the morning they received us with a big and warm smile explaining the buffet breakfast and also guiding/giving information about where we can have a traditional meal at one of the restaurants in Colmar , where we chose the " Koifhus" one and was great! The room was always cleaned, beautiful staff members ready to help!...As we both working in hospitality/restaurants/hotels ,We really want to Congratulate all of you guys for all the professional services you provide! The location, the staff and breakfast were all excellent and its a quiet location. It is a lovely little hotel with ample parking (including EV) and the breakfast room and bar are lovely. The room although a little small was nice and comfortable with modern facilities (tv, coffee machine)but lacking a comfy chair - again due to size. I would come back again as its good value and the location (10min walk) to the heart of Colmar is perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel, a short walk from the beautiful centre of Colmar. Wonderfully friendly staff - you really get a sense that the hotel is a family run place and they take a real pride in their work. The room wasn’t massive, but was extremely comfortable and warm, with everything you could need. We were allowed to bring our dog, which was a huge bonus and the parking is onsite and easy to access. Thanks for a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Quite new, well-maintained, modern, and rational hotel with large free parking, about 20 minutes on foot from the main Colmar attractions. Near the street, but not noisy, looks smart - true value for money

The room is too small, the separate WC and shower are both a bit claustrophobic. A great coffee maker has been completed with just two coffee capsules for two people two-nights stay, never refilled.
