What an amazing find, great location and rooms were beautifully designed. Owner was very welcoming, we arrived early but was not a problem at all. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully laid out. Local produce which was a bonus. We tried a range of the champagne on offer and purchased a case at an amazing price.

Excellent breakfast. A wide variety was available and all very fresh and plentiful.

The main bathroom was the only sink for washing hands even though the toilet was on the opposite side of the room. It only caused a problem during the night when we banged into the bed going from one area to the other.

The location was beautiful and not far off the main motorway. The property was beautifully finished. We only stopped one night to break our journey but I would definitely say its would be somewhere I would stay for longer.

The only slight thing was we stayed on a monday evening and most of the local resturants were closed but there are fast food places open about 6 miles away.

Lovely clean chambre d’hote. The host made us very welcome and even prepared some breakfast for us in the evening to have early in the morning, as we had to leave before breakfast. Lovely comfortable bed and coffee/tea/ juice provided. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly hosts welcomed us and offered garage parking for our motorbike on arrival. Lovely spacious room, with tea/coffee and some fruit juices included with our stay. Comfortable bed, lovely shower and breakfast of fruit, yogurts, bread and croissants was enjoyed.

Its a little bit off the beaten track, if you want to stay closer to the town of Troyes then look elsewhere

The swimming pool was a joy to use. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Our en suite bedroom was spacious and comfortable. All was calm in the small village of Montgueux. The Champagne tasting was a bonus.

Lovely location, very friendly host, beautiful breakfast. We only stayed one night on our way to La Carroz, so we would like to go back for a longer period of time to see more of the area.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and tidy. She made us perfect omelette 😋 I hope we will visit here again in the future!

Stunning location in the champagne region of France near vineyards. I did an hour's walk through the vineyards - great walking paths. Room was spotless & huge. Separate ensuite power shower with huge shower head and separate ensuite toilet. Fridge with drinks was great & a nice touch. Very friendly host. Swimming pool lovely to cool off in. Delicious breakfast. 5 mins from Troyes & loads of places to eat.
