The hotel is in a fantastic location - just a few steps from the many bars and restaurants of the Old Town and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was a reasonable size for two. We had two single beds and a make-up table with a chair. Kettle and tea/coffee and lots of power points, There was a TV and minibar which we didn't use so I can't comment on the channels or content. The rainfall shower was nice and warm and the bathroom had all the ameneties you would expect. We had a large window that opened up to the main street which provided a nice breeze if the air-con was off for the winter. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of hot and cold food, but the room is quite small so can get a bit tight for space during busy times. The staff are all super friendly and seem very happy to help with any questions or provide assistance.

The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too hard for me as I like feathers and the pillows provided were more like foam rubber, not a criticism, just a matter of preference. I don't know if the pillows could be swapped. There were only 2 hangers in the wardrobe but we took our own so not a problem, however, I'm sure more could be provided if requested. One thing to note, is that due to its great location, there is quite a bit of noise at the weekend with people returning home from the bars at all hours. This didn't bother me at all but may be an issue for light sleepers - especially with the window open.

The Location couldn’t be better. This hotel is perfectly situated between old town & new town AND one block from the beach. It has a beach club that was wonderful & had discounted loungers for guests. The hotel also has more charm than I had thought it would. Fun fact: Matisse used to live there at one point! The rooms were clean & fresh, the lobby was surprisingly comfortable with unique modern furniture. I ate at the restaurant once and it had a variety of self-serve dishes & decent lattes & coffees (coming from Seattle where we are picky about our coffee). We stayed 4 nights & ate at a variety of local restaurants that were within 10 minutes walk that were very good. I would absolutely stay here again. We felt the value was there for the price point, quality, and location.

I don’t have anything in particular to dislike about it.

The location cannot be better, and it was so inspiring to think of Matisse staying at the hotel when he first came to Nice and being inspired by the Mediterranean's colors and light that he could see from his hotel window!, It was also wonderful to have access to the beach club, with its outstanding restaurant, where we had several meals looking at the water and the sunset. The Executive room was large and comfy, and very quiet despite that it faced the street. The staff is very courteous and responsive.

Patio not as easily accessible as it seems on website, and - while guest have access to the beach club - they must pay for lounge chairs and umbrellas. The shower has only a half door, which causes bathroom flooding; towels are thin and easily get wet, so more should be provided. Healthier snacks (rather than junk food) in the room would also be appreciated, as would a more affordable continental breakfast option (not thrilled to pay 22 euros for breakfast when I only want coffee and croissant).

We loved the location/proximity to things, the really nice sized room, and the highlight- the breakfast. We could count on knowing they had options we could eat as vegetarians before leaving for daily travels, which is always a plus.

The customer service could be a little better - something people should be aware of, they do not offer your room if you arrive earlier than check in time. So please plan ahead with when you can arrive, or they do hold your luggage. Additionally, the carpet in our room was stained , but otherwise, again, great spot, size of room, and food.

Location!, size of rooms - especially for Europe! The executive room upgrade was worth the money. The breakfast was very nice with wonderful coffee, breads, pastries, both plant based and meat protein options were many and there was always fresh fruit! A very small thing to note - it’s almost Too far from train station (20 minutes/over a mile), yet it’s almost too short of a trip to justify an Uber or cab.

A bit Noisy at night - the sound carries through the streets. It didn’t keep us up- just heard the garbage trucks and delivery trucks in the am and we heard people partying out late. The Carpet was stained in the area where we walk in and on the way to the bed…it probably could be steam cleaned easily. There were also a few Very little things - things that would have been nice and that are standard at other comparable hotels: the complementary 1 liter glass water bottle wasn’t replenished, and there were no washcloths. Per the directions, we left both hand towels on the floor to be replaced after 2 days, and they weren’t. We had to ask for replacements.

Room was large - at least compared to what I have known rooms across France and especially Nice, to be. Quiet. The staff - especially Rayan was super Helpful throughout my stay. Also Seck who called my phone when I could not find it (I forgot it at the pharmacy nearby) all the while Rayan looked everywhere. These guys made my stay worthwhile at this hotel. Location was PERFECT.

Maybe they need more than 1 iron for people travelling from afar - to use. I was late as 1 guest took the iron and did not return - so I had nothing to use for over 1 hour.

The location is excellent, right on the harbour front and close to many cafes and restaurants. Sanary is a really nice town with a great seaside / harbourside atmosphere but without the Riviera glitz. Our room was rather small and situated up many stairs on the third floor (there is no lift) but it was clean with a lovely view over the harbour. The staff are low profile but helpful.

Sadly there is no parking at the hotel. The nearest public car park (parking de l'esplanade on the harbour) was around six minutes walk away and costs 25euros per day. It was a shame that the hotel restaurant was closed during our visit.

The hotel is centrally located off the promenade, close to main tourist attractions and the old part of town. It was a delightful boutique hotel. We were upgraded to an executive room that overlooked the central courtyard; it was very quiet. The room was large and stylish with a modern bathroom with a welcome walk-in shower and plenty of easy to reach power points for charging devices. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was in easy walking distance of the bus to take us to the Matisse and Chagall Museums. Plentiful restaurants, cafes and bars within minutes of the hotel.

The staff at check-in were knowledgeable and helpful. The decor in the hotel was modern and attractive. The location of the hotel, essentially in the pedestrian zone, was great.

There was no restaurant in the hotel for lunch and dinner but there are lots of restaurants in the area. The bar for hangers in the cupboard was so high that only a very tall basketball player could reach it. A mechanism to pull the bar down and out would help all the rest of us. The room was very small. It was alright for our 2 night stay but any longer and I would want a bigger room.

Superb location. Very comfortable bed. Hotel responded to requests re walk in shower rather than over bath very quickly and confirmed they had done it.

Carpets in the room were a bit tired and need replacing - quite a few stains. Rooms which are above the entrance - especially the first floor have a very bright street light outside and lights which change colour above the hotel doorway. As the curtains are not blackout and don't reach all the way across the window the room was never dark.
