The apartment was in an excellent position, close to a big local market which operated Thursday and Sunday. Lovely produce. Two metros close by as well as Bastille metro. However we walked as much as we could and could reach most places walking on an average of 11-12 kilometres a day. The apartment was comfortable but several things needed attention. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.Good grocery store close by.

The plumbing needed attention with all sinks taking a long time to drain. It would have been good to have an oven . The cook top was minimal and the dishwasher was unnecessary due to the limited number of crockery provided. However I would still recommend this apartment for price and location and in a safe area of Paris for travellers.

The location near the Bastille was great. Lot's of stores, restaurants and public transportation nearby. We took the 69 bus to many of the big sights (Eiffel Tower, Lourve etc.) and you can walk to the Musee Picasso. We also liked the kitchenette. It had everything needed to cook breakfast and some pretty elaborate dinners. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality skillets and pots and all of the cooking utensils you are used to at home. We traveled in November and the price of the studio unit was below $200 per night which is a good value.

The hotel shows a lot of wear and tear. It has been remodeled several times, but areas like the bathroom are showing their age (pealing formica surfaces, loose tiles etc.). The management needs to provide bathmats for the tubs because they are slick (we bought one and left it in our unit).

Staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, not only for the Marais area but with both bus and metro stop across the street, it was so easy to get to all areas of Paris. Shops close enough to make use of the kitchen, which was a great convenience and a wonderful farmers market down by the Bastille to get wonderful fresh foods of all kinds. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Will defitinitely being staying here again.

The microwave was a little confusing at first but in no way a deal breaker. There wasn't really anything to complain about. I loved it so much, I wanted to extend my stay!

The size of the room is decent & big enough for the 2 of us. Having a small kitchen is a plus. Considering its in Paris & the price is average. I will definitely stay here again. Not to mention the staff are very friendly & helpful.

Location was great. Shops, restaurants, takeaways across the road with a lively atmosphere. Metros 5 min walk. Huge market Thursdays and weekends across the road. Free coffee, tea etc. in the lobby. Umbrellas also provided. For longer stays room is good with little kitchenette. Yes, as everyone says it does need some refurbishment as getting a little old and tired. However, if you want new be prepared to pay for it as Paris can be very expensive!

The laundry

I was concerned that the hotel is located far from Paris main point of interest, but it was not. The bus straight to Eiffel Tower was just around the corner and 30 minutes away. We took it only once as experience, as it was more expensive than the BOLT ride due to the Olympics. BOLT was 13-15 EUR, mostly everywhere we went. The 4 of us had as apparent with AC, a bedroom, a living room, kitchen with everything we needed, and a terrace with 2 tables and chairs. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and available all day. They upgraded our room to a balcony overlooking the park and gave us a tin of cookies. The room was spacious and clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. They supplied clean towels from the front reception whenever requested. There is a wonderful outdoor market in the park across the street on Thursdays and Sundays.

There was construction being done at the entrance and the elevators were covered with some sort of protection. The laundry service was not available. We did not find the breakfast area until the last two days we were there. The bathroom had what appeared to be some mold in the shower.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, the shower was really good. The metro stop is very close and you can easily find the way to any destination in the city, but you need to make sure you have enough time as the main attraction are not close.

The kitchen was too small and the door couldn't be closed, that must be fixed. There were no sheets on the beds, so we were either cold or too hot. They only had a duvet cover as a sheet, but it wasn't practical for us.

The place is close to everywhere, the room was complete, it has a tiny fridge and you are able to cook if you want. It has a balcony too. The bed was really big and comfortable. There is a coffee machine in the reception where you can grab free coffee.

I didn't like that when we arrived a woman in the reception asked me to pay a tax and I said I will pay in cash and she said why not in card? And then I asked how much it was and because I didn't understand the number she started talking to me in a funny way like making fun of me. Too much informal the way she treated me to just being the first time I see her.

Everything was great! The room is very spacious, with bathtub. Kitchen has everything you need. Amenities were provided and complete Location is great near bastille, well connected with bus and metro but not very crowded like eiffel or louvre area. On Sunday there's a Sunday market in front of hotel with everything sold there (from bakery, fish, clothes, farm products, etc) Many great boulangerie and groceries nearby (casino supermarket, franprix, carrefour)

I didn't know that cleaning was not provided during stay, so my challenge was where to take out the trash. But luckily the housekeeper helped us The shower gel texture was almost like water, we almost run out on our last day. Small suggestion to consider
