Loved everything! Great staff (all of them!) Great spacious room with a spacious bathroom, amazing bed and loved the attentive bag, snack and water at arrival! Very much appreciated! Everything was excellent: the room, the location, the view from my room, the breakfast, the staff was very friendly. The hotel exceeded my expectations, I was very happy to stay in Marais Bastille. The metro station is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel (line 1, which passes throuhg most of the landmarks, such as Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysessees), and Marais - about 15 minutes walk. I travelled at the end of June 2025 and the temperature in Paris was 29-32 0C, but the AC in the room worked very good and it was very comfortable. Bottled drinking water was replenished daily.

There were no drawbacks

Perfect location for exploring Bastille and Marais neighbourhoods. Room was modern and clean. Comfy bed, linen and pillows. We were also welcomed with a thoughtful little gift on the bed, which was a lovely touch. The hotel was like a peaceful oasis in Paris which can at times be chaotic and busy. The best part of the hotel was honestly the staff, who were always smiling and friendly. Special shout out to Jose for going out of his way to help find an umbrella for us on a rainy day, which was really kind. It's often the warmth of the people you meet that you remember from a place, so thank you Jose and team at Hotel Marais Bastille!

Loved my stay. Located where Bastille meets Marais, this lovely little hotel is a great option if you want somewhere away from the madness but plenty going on. A 30 minute walk from Notre Damme and next to the Bastille Metro stop. Cafes, boulangerie, bars, restaurants, gorgeous shops all on your doorstep. I had a single room on the 6th floor which was small but perfectly formed and had everything I needed. Super clean. Lovely bedding and decor. I didn't have breakfast as my favourite croissant shop is a 2 minute walk away. I hope to stay again soon.

Room and bathroom were a good size. Closet held our clothes and had a mini fridge. 24-hour staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The common areas were clean and comfortable. Small elevator greatly appreciated after all of the walking we did! Great location. Lots of food options and a metro stop across the street. Offered a breakfast and laundry service for a price. We did not use either, but it was nice to have the option.

Wi-fi kept kicking me out didn't realize I was using my data in the room.

Clean, with everything necessary in place and working. All Parisian hotels have small rooms, smaller than I have seen anywhere else, so the room size did not surprise me. Although the square meters were few they were well used. Breakfast was excellent and good value for money. Overall, a very positive experience!

Only one elevator can cause some waiting at rush hours

room was on the small side but had everything we needed. Excellent shower. Location perfect for our requirements. Bonus was the most excellent market on the road opposite the hotel on Sunday morning - perfect for pottering and very picturesque.

Breakfast lady needed more help at busy times. Male receptionists a bit grumpy, female receptionist was friendly.

Convenient position and excellent value for money. The double glazing worked brilliantly and the heating/air conditioning was easy to alter. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was good with a shower over the bath. The breakfast waitress was really helpful and good natured. It did get very busy at times and she should have had some help.

Breakfast lacked fresh fruit, decent muesli, plain yogurt. This time of year there could be much more choice for fruit. Bread wasn’t that fresh. I broke a tooth chewing my way through some baguette! The reception staff were not interested in making conversation!

Lovely people, clean and comfortable. On a quiet main road near the bastille, not far from the Seine and Notre Dame - everything approx half an hour walk in either direction.

We had a room next to the lift, which wasn’t too bad! Breakfast choices limited for anyone with Gluten Free requirements and for an orange juice, coffee and chicken sausage - it’s expensive!! Only get one sachet of coffee in your room per day :(

The property is located a few blocks from Bastille, as well as from Place de Vosges. It is easy to get to on the Metro line 5 (orange) from Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est. There are many places to eat or have a drink nearby. The Bastille Market is on Sunday and Thursday right by the hotel as is the Metro stop. My room was perfect! Loved the decor. The bed was super comfortable as was the bathroom. Breakfast was very good and very reasonable. The staff was so kind and helpful. It is perfectly clean. I slept well!
