Generally, I liked everything apart from the breakfast which was super small (some would say that it was just enough, but I have been to other 3 star hotels in Europe and I know that this was just poor). Other than that, the hotel is located on the 11th district of Paris, which is a quiet and safe place to live. There were 2 metro stations within 500 metres from the hotel, that would get you anywhere. The room was not as small as people say. It fits perfectly two single beds and two large luggages. The hotel was clean, the staff was polite. What else would you want?

The breakfast was tiny and the cheeses were tasteless and disgusting!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was small, but typical for Parisian standards. The hotel is located on a quiet street in a lively area full of bars, restaurants, and boulangeries, yet away from the noisy, crowded parts of the city. Several metro stations serving different lines are just a 4–8 minute walk away, making it convenient to get around. I would happily stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Paris.

The only minor downside - though this is subjective - were the pillows: a bit too big for my taste as I prefer flatter ones. Nevertheless, the beds were comfortable, and I slept very well.

Good location, near metro stations. Bustling local area without being too noisy on the hotel street. Bakery just round the corner so we bought breakfast from there every morning instead of paying for the hotel breakfast. Really friendly staff. Clean room. Comfy bed, good pillows. Good WIFI. Lift. Kettle & fridge so us we could make a cup of tea in the morning! This is the second time I've stayed and I would come again.

No shower screen / shower curtain so had to squat down in the bath with the shower head to stop it making the whole bathroom wet, but apparently that's not unusual in France. It wouldn't put me off coming again though.

We have just finished a three day stay at Hotel Hor Les Lumières. I was visiting with my 12 year old daughter. We had such a positive experience from start to finish. The hotel is located in a busy area with lots of excellent restaurants nearby and we felt safe walking around in the evening. Also walking distance to metro stations will get you anywhere in the city. The best part about this hotel was the staff. They could not have been more helpful. My daughter turned 12 whilst we were staying and the staff left her a thoughtful message and gift in the room. The two Camilles on the front desk in particular were just excellent hosts. Highly recommend this hotel for a weekend visit to Paris.

Nothing. It’s clean, breakfast was great.

The location is PERFECT! It's located in a such quit street, closer to two main stations and it's easy to get around with such great options for bakery like Caffe Doppio, The French Bastards, Ober Mama, Yann Courvet and farmers Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I need to stay up until late for a video call and I used the little facility room with no problems at all, plus I was well received for everyone specially the Portuguese gentleman who treated us very well offering bottle of water.

Just tiny details like, I will offer more pillows (at least 2 per person) and have a curtain/protection in the shower as it's open, so it gets half of the bathroom wet.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and clean, but the real highlight was the outstanding service. Every single staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The concierge went above and beyond with recommendations, check-in/out was smooth, and any request we had was met immediately and efficiently. It's rare to find such consistently excellent service, and it truly made our Parisian experience relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who values feeling well taken care of during their travels.

Clean room and bathroom, friendly staff, there was a lift, mini fridge, kettle, small safe. Good curtains, dark at night. Good Wi-Fi. I didn’t pay for breakfast but there was a bakery around the corner less than a minute away. Recommend.

Only a small negative - You can hear the water running through the pipes all night (but I’m a light sleeper). The room and bathroom were fairly small but this was no problem for me as a solo traveller. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff, good location, very clean, free luggage storage, free tee and coffee in the room and in the lobby, comfortable bed, heating (via AC) and hot water worked well, elevator, small desk in the room, full body mirror, small fridge, shampoo, body wash and soap are provided, hair dryer in the bathroom.

The bathroom door can't be closed 100% because it's a sliding door, no outlets close to the bed, no trash can in the room (there is one in the bathroom), a few more hooks or shelves would be nice.

I enjoyed the friendly interaction with the staff, especially when arriving after hours and to get directions for any sightseeing in the wider area of île de France. The room was small but comfortable, with everything you'd need. Comfortable bed, working airconditioning and a lovely bathroom with hairdryer installed. Metro and major places like Place République on walking distance

The price was a little high in my opinion for 2 nights, about 300 euros. But given the location and what's on offer, it is understandable. It was unfortunate that no closet was available, only a few shelves to put your luggage on. Most of it had to stay in the suitcase.

It is a very good 3 star hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with a reasonable choice items to eat. The area is very good with a wide choice of bars, cafes and restaurants near by. It is a good location too as the metro station Parmentier is a short walk from the hotel plus the 96 bus is in the street outside the front of the hotel and takes you into the city centre. The hotel is situated just outside the Marais quarter in the 11th arrondissement.

What we did not like were minor. As we were staying a week we would liked to have more storage for our clothes. The other is that the coffee is from a machine, a practice that seems to be growing in hotels generally.
