This lovely Parisian hotel is nicely located making it easy walking to the many sights of Paris. It is less than a 3 minute walk from both Gare Saint Lazare/Saint Lazare Metro and Saint Augustine Metro. We received a very warm welcome at reception. The rooms are very clean, spacious, light and airy and tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space. We booked a double and triple room. One had city/street view the other inner courtyard and both were excellent. In room amenities include: TV, AC unit, safe, a fridge, bottled water, coffee/tea tray (no milk) and chairs. The bathrooms have towels, over bath shower, shower gel, soaps, earbuds, cups and slippers (in bathroom cabinet). Further items can be requested at reception. It has a lovely breakfast area and provides an extremely good breakfast both continental and hot that is gvfm. The lift only goes to floor 5 so if you have difficulty walking request floor 5 or below. It has a 24 hour reception for security and you leave your room key there and collect on your return which is great and means one less thing to carry whilst seeing the sights. They have bag storage for your final day on check out. This hotel is excellent value for money and a real gem in the heart of Paris. It had character which you just don’t get in large chain hotels. We’ll definitely stay again and would highly recommend for couples, groups and families.

There’s absolutely nothing that we did not like!

Staff were incredibly positive, polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and looked after every day. Fridge in the room was really useful. Bathroom was very clean. Beds were comfy. We were able to leave our bags after check out on the last day. The area felt safe and was really accessible for everything we wanted to do - we walked to the Arc de Triomphe, Palais Garnier, Place de la Concorde. We took the metro easily to Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel Tower. Really easy for Disneyland! RER stop for line A straight to Marne-la-Vallee a short walk from the hotel. 24 hour Reception meant we could arrive back as late as necessary.

Room was very noisy all night due to traffic noise outside, and sleeping was difficult. We had to use earplugs. We understand that this is inevitable with such a central location but it did affect our sleep considerably. Breakfast was not included and would have worked out a lot more expensive. I would have liked it to have been included given the price of the room. However there is a Starbucks across the road by the station, and a couple of easy supermarkets and boulangeries for croissants and other food. I would have liked larger cups for English tea, and some milk.

The room is bigger than most of the rooms in paris. It had everything you would need. We stayed just for a night but wished that we knew before about this. It is near the metro and bus station. A lot of cafes nearby. This is on a safe street with a supermarket right across. I would book this again on my next trip.

The room where we're in was perfect for our party. Very clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast and lovely staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

They didn't provide wash cloths.

excellent location, just around 250-300 m from the metro station (St Lázare), very nice and very helpful Staff at the reception, you could leave your luggage on your departure day - which was super helpful. The room was pretty big, beds very comfy. It was also very quiet, what means you can have a good sleep. The breakfasts very delicious, with a huge selection of different products. Due to the size of the breakfast room - it was sometimes necessary to wait for a couple of minutes to get the table. In the surrounding area of the hotel, there are plenty restaurants, and also - Carrefour. The reception is open 24 hours, and the Staff had always done their best to accommodate your needs or answer any questions you may have. I can honestly recommend this hotel, while visiting Paris. for me all was ok

Breakfast is very good at the Oceanic. It offers variety, with hot and cold options, though I largely stuck with the cheeses/pastries/yoghurt and a couple of soft-boiled eggs Coffee is espresso machine-made but good. In the past, I have typically stared the day in Paris with croissants from a boulangerie. While Parisian Viennoiseries are delicious, I would get hungry by mid-morning but not after the breakfasts at Oceanic. I find food in Paris to be reasonably priced anyway but if you are concerned about overall cost or want to save the $$$ for a dinnertime splurge, have the Oceanic breakfast, maybe get a formule lunch at a boulangerie in the afternoon and you have spent relatively little on food before you go for dinner.

The hotel provided a very quiet environment, with minimal noise except for the occasional distant sound of the subway. The room was clean, and breakfast offered a limited but sufficient variety of options. The staff spoke English fluently and provided assistance with navigating the city. The location was convenient, being a 3-minute walk from Saint-Lazare metro station, allowing easy access to various destinations. . However, it’s worth noting that if you’re traveling with small children, you will need to use the metro to reach all the major sightseeing spots (which we didn't mind), as the hotel is not within walking distance of any sightseeing attraction (30min walk from Montmartre).

Everything was very good - value for money

Location of the hotel really worked for us. There are plenty of nearby places to eat nearby with handy supermarkets and pharmacies if needed. Gare St Lazare is easy walking distance with main line and RER connections. Saint-Augustin metro station is just around the corner and the Champs-Élysées 15 mins walk. On site breakfast makes it easy and very helpful staff.

Not a dislike - just an observation. Four people in one room is a little squeezy but hey, its the norm in Paris and you're not there to stay in your room. Breakfast can also get a little bit close, so get down there early to avoid the rush.

The hotel is in a very central location with easy access to the metro and bus routes which meant we weren’t far away from any of the sites and could easy pop back if we needed a rest, it was about 20min walk to river but we hopped on buses most of the time making good use of our Navigo passes. It isn’t a very touristy area but is an attractive area and felt safe. The building is nice, we had a room on the top floor with small balcony overlooking the back so not particularly picturesque but it was quiet. The room was fairly small but it was fine for us, decor was up to date and they had Netflix which was great after long days and lots of walking. It was cleaned every day.

There isn’t much in the way of bars, shops and restaurants in the immediate area, La Pépinière looked nice but we didn’t go, we had breakfast in Brasserie Pastis round the corner one morning which was nice (tho they served me dried onion instead of granola!). I don’t own a credit card and presumed I could use Apple Pay to provide holding deposit (you need the actual card) but had to leave cash which was all the cash I’d brought so it was a bit annoying but at least it was an option.

Excellent location - close to large metro station and all major attractions were easily accessible (via the metro). Staff were all very welcoming and warm and helped us to arrange a taxi to the airport in advance. Staff also helped with giving dinner recommendations. Both rooms had a balcony and had a nice view of the street. The street is very quiet and our room overlooked a block of offices and was very quiet.
