We needed to find a hotel for the night because we were stuck at the Gare du Nord station due to an incident where authorities found an unexploded WW2 bomb. All rides to London, Amsterdam etc were cancelled for the day. The location from the Gare du Nord station was excellent, just a 2-3 minute walk. The hotel though a bit small was clean and well maintained compared to the France Louvre hotel we stayed for most of our Paris trip.

The customer service Mid East looking man who received us was very rude. He doesn’t deserve to be at the reception.

100% of the time a receptionist was present at the desk. All receptionists could speak Engish and were very helpful. Everything was working. Excellent location for Eurostar travellers and for the Metro. Big Bus hop on hop off collect from just outside the hotel between approx 9am to 11am. This info is not on Big Bus website. If you want to use Big Bus tours then check with Big Bus to make sure the service is still in place (June 2025).

The lift was very small, just managed 2 people and one large suitcase. But the hotel's website warned us about this, and it wasn't an over-riding issue. Breakfast room a bit small but adequate.

Location was great right opposite the Gare Du Nord railway station. The Receptionist Hassan gave us a better room overlooking the railway station which was nice and airy. The breakfast was very good and varied with good quality food.

The safe in our room was not working the previous guests had locked the door closed and a Technician would arrive on Wednesday to open the safe but that did not happen. The manager tried to open the door and could not. The cleaner should have noticed that the safe was closed and reported it immediately so that the technician could have been informed earlier.

I rate this hotel very highly, as it exceeded my expectations. From the convenient train transfer from the airport to the railway station located right next to the hotel to its excellent location, which allows for quick access to the city center, everything was perfect. What I especially want to highlight is the helpful and incredibly friendly attitude of the hotel staff, particularly the ladies at the reception, who were truly professional and welcoming. I would like to sincerely thank the hotel for a wonderful stay in Paris, and I am definitely looking forward to coming back.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very soft and we fell asleep really fast. We have enough space in the room to put all our luggage down and not block our path. The bathroom was big and we had an easy time to move around. Being right across Gard du Nord was a big plus as we did not need to walk too far to catch the train.

The front door gets locked in the evenings, so we got locked out when the front desk receptionist was not at the front desk. It's best to make sure that the front desk receptionist will be there to open the door or our key card can perform this function.. The warm setting to the correct temperature was not giving out the right warm air. The time we were in Paris, it was very cold and the room was chilly. The staff came up to try to help but told us that was the maximum warm setting, so we had to put on layers of warm clothes to sleep.

The location is ideal, just across from Gare Du Nord. It’s a great advantage for Eurostar travelers, though we arrived by flight. We chose this hotel for its amenities and the easy access to trams and trains. Plus, there are plenty of halal restaurants nearby, which was a nice perk for us.

The proximity to Gare Du Nord means you'll likely hear a lot of noise from passersby and sirens in the morning. For me, the biggest drawback was the thin walls; I could hear inappropriate noises from the neighboring room, which would have been a significant concern if I had kids with me.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at TimHotel Paris, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff at TimHotel Paris were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready with a warm smile and helpful recommendations. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and offered a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room’s decor, which added a charming Parisian touch. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a delicious variety of fresh pastries, fruits, and hot beverages to start the day. The ambiance of the dining area was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and plan the day’s adventures. Overall, my stay at TimHotel Paris was truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Paris. I look forward to returning on my next visit to this beautiful city.

Their lift was so tiny

Great location opposite the station, and a good selection of restaurants right outside. Very modern and recently refurbished. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast area is small but it works and there’s a reasonable continental breakfast buffet and decent coffee machine. Comfy firm bed, decent shower pressure and cute Juliette style balcony.

The rooms and the lift were a bit small, but we knew that and they were more than fine for a city break.

Location is great, so easy and convenient, just opposite the Gare du Nord entrance (note: it’s a bit hard to see the hotel sign up top). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms have been nicely renovated and very spacious, clean, comfortable and well presented. Shops and restaurants all around the area and in the station. I would stay here again!

Nothing really. However if you have a lot of large luggage it can take a while to bring to the top floor rooms in their small lift as it’s compact size.

Great location for being close to Gare du Nord. And close to metro therefore but a bit of a way to get to Eiffel Tower for instance. I loved the size of the room, spacious for a French hotel that I ve experienced before. And a kettle ! And toiletries and two towels, and ample sockets.

The lift was a little bit small and with only one available for one person at a time it took a bit of a wait, and I did give up and use stairs to my 6 th floor room !
