The room was quite large compared to rooms in Paris. It was very important for me as I came with my mom and her movements are a little bit limited. Also the breakfast was very delicious, not limited. We had eveything we wanted. We came for the Olympics and it was close to the area Arena Sud. There were also cafes and restaurants close to the hotel and the location was very lively.

Bathroom necessities might be a little better and minibar can have some water in it.

Very good size room, Perfectly clean and facilities all in place as expected. Montparnasse is a nice area and plenty of local places to eat drink. There are 3 metro stops closeby that will take you anywhere you need to go in paris all within well under an hour (I would say most touristy places could be reached from here in <40 minutes through walking & metro).

Only problem was the room was quite warm as the AC did not appear to work - nothing that opening the window couldn't solve but the street below is quite noisy even at night, so not ideal.

Location is great. Front desk service is friendly too. Also appreciate how in support of sustainability and reduces reliance on plastic bottles, the hotel provides water dispensers on each floor. Breakfast is very good with freshly squeezed orange juice

Paper cups only and absence of glassware. Breakfast staff on duty are somehow not friendly at all as though carrying disgruntled feelings.

Wonderfuly located, just a 3 minutes walk to the Montparnasse station, and close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The rooms are small, as is in paris, but fairly clean and comfortable. We received our room 2 hours prior to the official check-in time, without a word from the hotel helpful employee.

The room design is somewhat outdated but could be considered classic. In the bathroom, there were two visible spots of black mold that should be scraped and taken care of, as it is dangerous.

Location was great. Close to metro tops and train station. Room was spacious

Air conditioner was turned off and when we asked at reception we were told that they don't activate the air conditioners until much later in the season. We stayed there early May. Shower available over bath, which meant that you had to step into the bath tub to use the shower. Bath very slippery and nowhere to hold on to. Makes it very unsafe, especially for elderly people.

Excellent location on Rue Gaite with plenty of restaurants. Parking under hotel. Very helpful staff. Great room overlooking Rue Gaite. Close to several Metro stops. Lift from underground parking to hotel and room. Selected hotel because of location and underground parking.

Somewhat expensive but this is Paris. Will take train into Paris next time and thus will not need underground parking.

Comfortable room with huge bed. Excellent location for 3 metro lines and varied eating places. Just by the Jardin du Luxembourg for relaxation/walking. Hotel design and layout is pleasantly quirky and well thought out.

Nothing. The hotel was exactly what we wanted.

The location is superb. 5 mins walk to Gare Montparnasse and 2 other Metro stations (Gaite & Edgar Quinet). Plenty of eating options around including Asian food. The hotel is right in front of a Vietnamese restaurant which we loved. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

No iron and ironing board in the room. In fact, the hotel provides only ONE iron for usage of entire hotel guests on the 4th Floor. This means you have to queue to use the iron if others are using it. This is mind boggling considering Mercure is an international chain hotel. The management should consider providing one in each room.
