Excellent staff. Location was also very good, and near many tourist attractions. You do pay a premium for this, but it is met with outstanding service and accommodations. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were always happy. The rooms and the bed were also some of the most comfortable beds I've slept in.

My room specifically had the split layout where toilet and shower were separated. This did not detract too much from my experience but was a bit annoying to get used as a non-European. Other than that traffic by car was worse than walking. So, plan accordingly.

It was very good location

The smell of the hotel morning very bad because of the breakfast area was near the reception and it was all over the hotel , I hope they find some way to make the hotel smell much better. So each hotel when you enter there is a good smell but I smell food specifically morning and I really don’t like that.

The room is very comfortable. Everything works as expected from a good hotel. Even when you have all restaurants and shops and some tourist attractions in the surroundings, the location also invites to stroll everywhere in Paris. With all of the main sightseeing between 20 and 50min walks, as it should be when you are on vacation in this city.

The fitness area equipment is a bit too basic for a proper training.

Breakfast was great. 9th arrondissement is not the most central but still close. The hotel was comfortable and we got upgraded to a better room. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

The only drawback was that the cleaning staff literally entered our room without any warning and just opened the door to ask if we need anything.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a nicer room by Eva, which was amazing as the room was very nice and large. The concierge also assisted with train tickets to Bordeaux. The location of the hotel is great. Overall great value for money and I can highly recommend this hotel.

The location was very nice and close to major touristic areas

The staff needed to be more friendly and even give a smile to guests... They did everything as if they didn't want to do it... The concierge was huffing when I was giving him the bags... The receptionist was very mean and didn't want to explain the final invoice. The waiter at the breakfast place was trying to be funny and carried my 2 year old daughter as a joke, she cried so hard that she vomited all over herself from how scared she was...

we thought the executuve lounge was very disappointing no food there all the time like many lounges we have been to with other big hotel chains

Thé upstairs club level is wonderful ! Definitely a huge bonus for choosing Marriott . Morning breakfast buffet is open from 6:30-11:00, with an incredible staff . Panoramic Views of paris can be seen from almost every table. Steve Delourme is the morning host manager and he & his team did a superb job taking care of my family each day. Evening is wine , beer with a buffet supper , desserts & cheeses . This is between 5:30-7:30 each day and is a wonderful time to relax and watch the sunset over the Eiffel Tower. Valerie & her team host the evening buffet, and they always went above & beyond in service to my family & the other guests . Sightseeing in Paris was always a happy time , but it’s very nice to have a beautiful & comfortable « home base »to start your day and return to in the evening. Thé Ambassador Hôtel is a wonderful way to experience Paris. We are already making plans to return again.

everything was excellent

Location is excellent. Lots of places to eat in the area. Most places were walking distance. I used the executive lounge which is excellent in this hotel.

I forgot to ask for feather free room. I wish they asked or prompted me. It is a minor point.

great location, nice breakfast

the cleanliness of the lavatory is not nicely done up, we found some stain. The second day when we were back to the room, we found that the plates from the in-room dining we ordered the night before were not collected. We called to room service but no staff came to collect them. We finally got the housekeeping staff to collect them in the morning of the third day.
