Very good Spa/Pool. Very good rooms. Good breakfast.

Gives an idea of being understaffed at least at breakfast time. They praise the restaurant so much, but nothing special at all, little options to eat. The use of paper cups in the room that do not smell very good. For a 4-star hotel, it could have decent cups. One little soap was the only product left for you in the room.

The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant had an outside terrace where we sat for dinner and I had my favourite meal of our whole three week stay here. I had poisson du jour, cooked to perfection, followed by a sublime Paris-Brest. The wine was excellent. To get to the city you can either drive from the car park which is adjacent the hotel, or you can catch a tram. We took an Uber which was about €12 Into the city because the tram was cancelled due to road works and it was too hot to get the bus. I would recommend this hotel.

No marmalade at breakfast, but that’s just me. It’s true of most hotels I stayed at. The coffee and breakfast in general was excellent. So, overall, nothing

Clean and spacious rooms. Conveniently location near the tram line which takes you in 15 mins to city centre. The spa at the hotel is must try and definitely worth the experience.

Buffet breakfast not included in the price and was 17 euros per person which is a lot. Parking in hotel was for 12 euros a day. There are no restaurants near the hotel which makes it very inconvenient. We had dinner at the hotel one night and in one of the dishes, the berries had a small worm but the staff refused to acknowledge it. My daughter didn’t eat dinner at all. That was our diet and last dinner at the restaurant. The attitude of the staff at the hotel is not very courteous. One of them insisting on charging us for dinner inspite of blocking our credit card for incidentals. He argued with us and when his colleague checked they had blocked our card. He didn’t even apologise, rather rude behaviour.

After planning a surprising trip for my husband's 40th birthday for months, we arrived with eighteen people in total, including toddlers and teenagers, a companion in a wheelchair and a dog. We were welcomed very heartwarming and had a perfect time at Hotel Athena Spa. After weeks of keeping in touch with Ms. Heckler (she's so wonderful and she made such an effort to help with all my questions and wishes), everything went so well 🙏🏼 Thanks to her we enjoyed some benefits, which shouldn't be taken for granted: - a really tasty 3-courses-menue for a special price - a discount on the parking price for the whole group - a very nice barkeeper, who worked overtime especially for us - a breakfast for free at the morning of my husband's birthday 🎂🎁🎉🥳🥂 No wishes were left unfulfilled 🙏🏼 The rooms were incredibly clean, the mattresses soft and comfortable. As we live in a very rural area, the trains/trams were difficult to ignore, but that's fine for two nights 😅 The Spa area is beautiful and invites to relax and calm down. The staff is taking very good care of the wet and slippery floor, so that the guests safety is guaranteed. Maybe the sauna rules could be posted a little better, as some guests didn't really know about how to behave.

I'd like to mention one last point: Please remove or replace the extracts from the menu displayed in the rooms 🙏🏼 Some of our people fell in love with the burgers for dinner (we more or less pre-ordered them by mail). Unfortunately the kitchen couldn't offer them anymore, so we had to decide on something else. It was only a minor problem and the kitchen staff was very flexible, but you know how it is: It actually has to be exactly what you were looking forward to 😅 Nevertheless, everyone was satisfied by an excellent meal 🤤😋

Comfortable room, really good sauna and pool (although a bit crowded at times), well located for tram into central Strasbourg and beyond (3 day pass €10), free outside parking. Decent breakfast for the price.

Few places to eat nearby and hotel restaurant menu had limited choices and was a bit pricey - top tip, take the short tram ride to Langstross Grand’Rue and eat at Boehm Brasserie

A really good hotel. If you are searching for a calm and relaxing hotel while your stay in Strasbourg, this hotel might be your choice. Awesome staff, comfortable beds, excellent food as the price proves the quality. I might add that a bathtub room makes your stay more relaxing.

It was written that at a certain point kids weren’t allowed in the spa area, although the little children weren’t to be seen, we had the misfortune of a teenager that did not respect the rules of not jumping or diving into the pool and the parents/grandparents didn’t stop him although it was visible that it disturbed all the people around it as water kept splashing. (Not ruining the stay but it was one thing that made it less enjoyable)

The spa area was very pleasant when not crowded. The front desk staff were very kind the breakfast was awesome! We did a couples massage and were very impressed with the suite and massage therapist.

The spa was too crowded and not enough chairs to go around. There should be additional hooks in the room. Only two for towels but we had the spa robes and spa towels as well as swimsuits. Unfortunately the construction was an obstacle. Two uber drivers drove off.

Quiet, spa, gym, quite new building, well suited for business trips, tram very close, overal a pleasant stay.

They charge 500 eur guarantee, even when hotel is paid in advance. They do not have slippers and bathrobe included, it is only by paying them. The area is not the best in Strasburg. The spa area should be better monitored, even there are posters everywhere with the common sense rules, certain guests of the hotel do not respect them:leaving water running in the showers, entering sauna naked or without a towel, entering the pool after sauna with no shower, etc.

The hotel fully met our expectations. Convenient location, in a quiet area, 10 minutes to the city center by tram. Our dog also felt welcomed. The parking was fully booked, but many parking places are available on the street nearby.

Pity that spa is open only from 3pm during working days.

Room was on the smallish side but well laid-out and comfortable. Parking is a plus. Did not try the spa so can't comment.

The location on the outskirts of town is not that great. It's technically possible to walk to the downtown area (~30 mins), but the walk is not that nice -- have to go under a 4-lane highway and then the train tracks!
