Great location, good bed, fair price for Strasbourg, nice atmosphere at the bar.

Light not working on my bed, can't control the temperature or the shower (too cold for me) or the strength of the water jet, light in the shower is automatic and turns off in the middle, so you have to go out to move your hand to restart it, towel renting was told but 4€ is expensive, lockers not near the beds, no shampoo or shower gel provided, bring your own, no reminder at the reception of the quiet hence night hours, fortunately for me my all 7 other roommates were respectful, no real place or common room to rest.

The hostel was clean. The beds were very comfy and I loved the curtains that provided darkness even when the main light was on. There was a plug socket and usb plugs next to the bed which was convenient and a lot of storage by the bed too. There was a good amount of showers and toilets and they were very clean. The atmosphere was nice and everyone was really respectful. The showers had a nice temperature and good water pressure too.

They didn’t have air con in the room in order to be more green (which is fine) but then when it’s 32 degrees at night that didn’t really work. The third night especially I couldn’t sleep because of how stiflingly hot it was. There at least needs to be fans of some kind to help because that was unbearable. Everything else was good.

Huge space with personal lighting, sockets and blackout curtain. It has a sink in the room. The room and shared spaces are kept really clean. The location is very closed to the city center and the bus station. About 30mins walk to the main train station though.

There's no personal locker or enough space to hang our clothes, even though the room is very spacious. The room is pretty stuffy, even during winter. There are only 3 cubical toilets and 3 cubical showers in each floor. Might have to wait during peak hours. Towels are paid services.

The atmosphere at the hostel was friendly and chilled, and the location is really cool: a former tobacco factory converted in cultural spaces. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants as well as exhibition spaces around. We only stayed 2 nights but it looks like there is a lot going on (the hostel itself organises concerts and other events, there was a wine tasting in the space next to eat,...)

We got a private room and was extremely basic for the price (which was comparable to the price of a standard hotel room), with basically no forniture, very little space both in the bedroom and in the bathroom to hang or store stuff. The breakfast was OK but really minimal as well and a bit disorganised and confusing. There was some noise in the night but nothing too crazy for an hostel.

Great room, nice window overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom was visually clean and looked new, despite the smell, and the shower was big, with good pressure. The room could've benefited from a desk and chair. The common bar/work area was nice.

The bathroom had a certain moldy/off smell at all times, and it had no fan. The double bed was just 2 singles put together under a sheet. So that there was a divot in the middle of the bed. The term "cool working" was confusing, as we thought there was a co-working space attached. Rather, you could book a meeting room for a high price, no hot desks available. But you could work in the bar/work area, it just didn't fit all the needs of a co-working space.

I chose this place because it was much cheaper than a hotel room, just five tram (not bus) stops from Strasbourg's main train station and offers an all-night check-in. (I was in the last train from Paris.) Each eight-bed room has its own modern lock that you open with a card. Each bed has its own curtain. Once you are inside, you can turn on a light that lights only your space, plug in your devices and place them on small shelves. Instead of having to suffer from other people's noise as I had feared, I worried about the noise I myself was making sorting my stuff, zipping luggage and typing (softly) on my computer. I also found myself awaking from time to time to check if it was time to turn off my 5:45 alarm to keep it from awaking my silent room-mates, whom I never saw except for the shoes outside their curtains.

There were individual lockers in my room, but you have to bring your own lock. You can store luggage in a locked closet off the reception, but this is less convenient.

The location of this Hotel/Hostel/University/Event place is excellent. There is a cool friendly vibe that makes everyone feel welcome The rooms are big and clutter free which is nice Just hanging out in the lounge/bar/breakfast area is really nice

The insulation between and under the rooms is not great. And since the single/double rooms are mixed with the dormitories there can be a lot of hormonal young people running around, banging doors and basically being... teenagers. But with proper set of earplugs it's not too bad 🙂 I also do think it's way too overpriced - it's more of a Hostel than a Hotel but still has a four star hotel price.

All about The People was great. Would definitely come again. Great location, quiet neighborhood with excellent restaurants nearby. Easy to get to from train station via C tram to Gallia. The bed is comfortable and private with a curtain. Own bar and outside seating area. Left to early to experience breakfast. Would return in a heartbeat. They offer various items like towels, ear plugs, and merch. Rooms unlock with key card as well as elevator, making it pretty secure. The curtains blocked any light during the night which was great.

Improvements I would like to see: a place to put one's luggage except just the floor, and best lockable. Or a smaller locker for valuables. Did not see a place to load mobile in the bed cubby hole, that would have been great. There was a light, though.

Perfect location, clean place I could feel the vibration when people dry their hands, because my room was next to the female toilets! I couldn’t sleep well during the night! The staff was kind and changed the room for me!

My first room was next to the female bathroom, and the light of the bed didn’t work! Second room was quite spacious and has private locker for each person which first room (103) didn’t equip with! However, the second room was too hot if the window shut down, once opened, the noise came inside, so it was awkward!

The location was great, right by Zurich Street and the canal. Strasbourg is a small city, and this place is just a 5-10 minute walk to main attractions like Notre Dame, Palais Rohan, and Église Réformée. Our room was spacious, bright with natural light, cozy, and quiet, featuring high ceilings and plenty of luggage space. The in-room sync was very comfortable. The co-working, dining, and relaxation areas were large, with options to eat indoors or on the terrace. The staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast is available for just 4 euros per person, which I believe is great value for money.

The only downside was the showers; they operated on sensors, which made it uncomfortable as the water would frequently stop and it was freezing :(
