Uncomplicated procedures, clean rooms, very good beds. Easy communication. Price absolutely ok, well worth it.

A few more electricity sockets (for charging phones etc.) would have been nice. Aircondition in one of our 2 rooms was broken and spiled on one of the beds, but this was not much of a problem as we had a spare bed. Restaurant was closed but that was really nobodies fault (except the weather gods!!!) as it rained terribly for an hour or two and all basements of the houses in the street were flooded, so there were very understandably other things that needed to be taken care of.

The location of the hotel is ideal for those people who plan to live in the very center of the city, so that all attractions are within walking distance. The staff and attitude to guests is very friendly, ready to help at the first request. Daily cleaning of the room, adding capsules for the coffee machine and bottles of water also left a pleasant impression. The room although neat, is very small. The bedding is clean but old. Pillows may show uncomfortable for those who like hard pillows. Soundproofing is very poor. In our room, the faucet on the sink was so installed that it was almost impossible to wash your hands (very little space, about 5-6 cm was from the tip of the faucet to the bottom of the sink). In general, the rooms definitely need renovation. But the time spent was pleasant and the impressions of the hotel were positive.

The position is exceptional, in a nice little street attached to the cathedral. The Nespresso machine and the water in the bedroom were well appreciated. The room is comfy and quiet despite the position in the city centre. The staff is friendly and allows to store the luggage for free when the whole day. The room is perfect for short stays. There’s no breakfast but the restaurant La Pompette at the end of the stairs has delicious brunches.

There’s no lift and if you have a room at floor 3 or 4 and have to carry a heavy suitcase, it might be challenging.

The rooms are greatly situated! Arrived at night, got out to eat something, and boom: saw the beautiful cathedral of Strasbourg. Everything in the old town is reachable within a 10-15 min walk max and there's a great option of shops and restaurants nearby. The room is great, really clean, and well-presented, and the beds are comfortable. It was perfect for a night stay and I would have stayed longer if needed. Quick note: there is no elevator.

The communication with the staff was disappointing... We had the choice of two single beds or one double bed on booking, we chose the double bed and got the two single ones... Also, tried to write them 2x on the booking chat to see where we could park the car and got automated messages with no answer about parking. The listing said private parking for 18euro/day and having no answer we had to go park in a city-paid parking which was actually 44euro for 24h... Found out later that the staff and restaurant (for breakfast) are not available on Sundays and Mondays. Finally, some pieces of equipment in the toilet were a bit annoying: no space between the faucet and the sink and no regular toilet paper toilet, but we could do fine with those.

Excellent location, very close to her main square and cathedral of the city, and very close to the river. It had several restaurants and cafes around too. The stag is very kind and the hotel offers a lovely “old times” kind of experience. It’s a good budget hotel if you want to stay for a few days.

The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator and you have to go up several floors carrying your luggage. It doesn’t have any other facilities but it’s nice of its price.

Location is absolutely amazing and close to several public parkings. Our attic room was tiny but equipped with an air-conditioning and a coffee machine.

No lift, own parking was fully booked and we didn't realize before getting there, yet restaurant staff was really helpful in finding an alternative (which turned out even cheaper). Keep in mind hotel is along a wonderful pedestrian section with restaurants and bars so it might be a bit loud.

Excellent location in the heart of Strasbourg. Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly. However, it is on a street where it is very noisy in the evening and at night, so I recommend earplugs. Otherwise, I would happily return one day.

I liked everything about this little hotel. I wish the rooms could magically be a little bigger-there really was no place to put the suitcases. The others travelling with us had more bags than we did and I don't know where they fit there's.

After a long day, the trek to the 4th floor was a little difficult with suitcases. But it was worth it to have the great location. There was an alarm that went off at one point and since it was Sunday, there was no staff on hand to deal with it.

The staff is really nice, and it's a very clean and comfortable place, they offer water and coffee in the room with a private bathroom

There is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it would be difficult to go upstairs. And at night, you may hear some noises from the street or your neighbor since the room is not very soundproof

We really liked the location. Super central and 2 mins away from the Cathedral and markets. The area felt safe and it wasn't overly loud at night. The check in & out was easy.

The room wasn't overly clean, the pillows had stains on them, the cups in the bathroom had marks all over them and when you opened the window for fresh air it smelled of cigarettes. I think the people who stayed their before us must've been smoking out of the window.
