We came here by train. The location in that case is just perfect: it is 1-3 min walk from the railway station and it takes about 10 min to reach the center and main tourists attractions. The room was nice and cozy. The wifi was fast and it is very comfortable that the place has a little common area where one can stay after the checking out or before the checking in (you can sit comfortably, have a cup of tea or coffee) it is a good idea to have such a place for visitors. The breakfast was alright.

The breakfast was a bit worse than expected. It as absolutely the same every day (which is alright for a short-term stay) but it was not hearty at all: just some pastry, cheese, jambon, yogurt. There were eggs, though, which one was supposed to cook for themselve (it was unexpected for me as I found it out only after cracking one it, and also it caused crowds near the tables as everyone is gathering near the only one egg-cooker). It would be better if there were a bit more warm food... at least something like an omelet e.g. But all in all our stay was pretty satisfying and we both loved the hotel and the city.

The hotel is in the perfect location for Toulouse Matabiau railway station. We stayed there for one night as we had a very early shuttle to the airport, the shuttle bus stop is very near the hotel. The receptionist could not have been more helpful, he took our bags pending check-in and recommended a great restaurant for lunch, giving us clear directions and a map. A very comfortable bed and a great shower, the two essentials were perfect. Get some milk for the free coffee machine in reception and I'd be even happier! For the money, this basic but comfortable hotel takes some beating.

The central location is perfect. It’s right opposite the train station and the shuttle bus stop to the airport, which makes it very convenient when traveling by plane. The air conditioning worked really well, which was essential during the heat wave. I also appreciated the very cold water machine and the free coffee and tea available in reception!

The only downside was that the lobby felt a bit small, especially when a few guests were checking in at the same time. Other than that, everything was great and I’d happily stay here again..

It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom...although i believe there's coffee and hot water in the reception area Walls are thin and floors creak which means that one can pretty much hear everything in the next room. The room was extremely cold and it was impossible to get the radiator going, although we did manage to get some hot air from the air conditioning, but only for a short while.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great, 20 min walk to the city center. There is a parking in front, 20 € for 24 h. We were lucky to have a quadruple room with 2 bathrooms. In the lobby there is free water and coffee.

The heat was on, and although we tried to turn it off, it was very hot to sleep. We asked for help but it was not provided. The shower has low pressure and the shower door is not a full one so the bathroom floor gets all wet. Tiny elevator and a couple of steps, it’s not fully wheelchair accessible.

The hotel is very easily accessible and had a very central location. The closeness to the central train station allows you to go not only to the city center via metro but also to other regions of France which is very handy. Staff were very welcoming and allowed us to leave our luggage in the reception area when we arrived and when we left so we could explore the city a bit more. Breakfast was good with a good variety of pastries and other foods. Very enjoyable. Room was comfortable and had plenty of space for our belongings.

Amenities such as body wash could’ve been replaced on our arrival but they weren’t, thankfully we only stayed for 2 nights therefore the remaining body wash was enough but could’ve ran out.

Great location for the airport shuttle, onwards travel by train and a spot of sightseeing. The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

The room was way too warm for comfort and adjusting the temperature on the air conditioning unit made no difference at all. Opening a window helped but then there is an issue of noise. I don't know if this was a problem just with the room I was in as I arrived very late and just wanted to sleep so didn't go back down to reception to ask.

we came across to Toulouse to watch a rugby Game, we had 2 nights at the Matabi, great location, great price no frills room, but bathroom and toilet were spot on! It is situated near the main railway station so easy access to everywhere, great city, will definitely go back.

Toilet was a little small but everything else was spot on, the view from the room wasn't good, but for the price we paid it was excellent, none of what i have said is a moan! great value for money

The hotel facilitates a flexible 24-7 check-in which was really good as I arrived very late. The staff at the desk was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent - right opposite the main train station which is very convenient for onward journeys. I arrived late and left early so did not get to appreciate the area/hotel much but it appeared to be in a decent area. Room was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Bed and pillows were soft and comfortable.

The breakfast was fairly basic - okay for a quick bite. It wasn't the quietest hotel - creaky floors and you can hear people getting in and out of their rooms.

We just can't fault this hotel! Location is perfect - across from the train station (though clean, organised and not noisy at all!) and a few minutes away from the city's main square. On the way there, you have tons of good quality restaurants and pubs. Our room was very spacious, the bed gigantic and super comfortable! At the entrance, you'll find a big glass bottle with fresh lemon-cucumber-grapefruit-herb water - always welcome at any time of day! The staff were all very nice and helpful, as well! We will definitely go back to Toulouse and waste no time selecting accommodation! 😍

Breakfast was good, but could have been better with some hot food selection. 😉
