Excellent and stylish hotel on a hill with great view of the city. The room was amazing: clean, beautiful, everything for personal care is provided (even a robe and slippers), comfortable shower, comfortable beds, air conditioning, tea, coffee and bottled water. Breakfast was a buffet, not an extremely large selection, but definitely enough for a tasty and balanced breakfast for every taste. We were pleased with traditional dishes, cheeses and sweets from Georgia. There's also outside smoking area. Very responsive staff, we arrived at 4 am and were able to check in on our own and very simply, everything was thought out.

This was not a minus, since we often used taxis, but the hotel is located on a hill so you will have to walk uphill. keep this in mind if you have luggage.

My favorite aspect of this property is the staff. They are the face of any hospitality operation and the employees of About Sololaki are outstanding. Andriy , Elena, and Ana at the front desk do a great job. They are helpful, friendly and very professional. All three of them are very knowledgeable about Tbilisi. The ladies who oversee the wonderful breakfast served each day do a great job . The staff members who look after room maintenance are very efficient as well as being friendly.

My only criticism of the property is it’s location in the hills of Old Tbilisi make access a bit difficult for taxi drivers at times but the other aspects I mentioned more than compensate and make a stay there very worthwhile.

The Location was great. I stayed for two weeks. The staff were fabulous, Andro on reception always greeted you with a smile and went above and beyond to help you with any requests. Worth his wait in gold that one. If he worked for me I’d defo pay him well so I didn’t lose him. The head chef Irma again was fabulous, she was always ready to help with any special breakfast requests. The breakfasts were always very tasty and she always had a smile for everyone, Tamra was also always ready to clear up when you’d finished so your table never became cluttered. They even made me up a breakfast for my early trip to Batumi. I was very thankful of that on the journey. Room was made up daily. A great place to stay

Two pairs of friends stayed at the hotel for 7 nights (two standard double rooms). Overall - excellent value for money and a very positive experience. Very cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff, exceptional breakfast. Clean and comfortable room, not that small (but not big either), a small technical problem was solved immediately, good location - not quite the center, but definitely within walking distance of all the city's attractions. We arrived at midnight, the reception was closed, but the check-in process was absolutely smooth (keys were waiting for us in the locker, all the necessary information was provided via WhatsApp and a contact number was provided in case of emergency). The room was cleaned daily, mineral water was replenished every day, we were pleased with the comfort of the bed. Good wi-fi (and wi-fi TV with YouTube and Netflix, all worked pretty smoothly).

Not as criticism, but rather as information: There is no refrigerator/minibar in the room (may be needed if you are going to buy local goodies). No safe (if you need one). The city view stated in the description is probably only for the deluxe rooms or part of standard rooms, we had a view of the concrete wall opposite. Please note that the hotel is uphill (could be a challenge for some people to walk) and the street is narrow and bumpy (if you are using a car or a large shuttle).

Just 10min walking from the Freedom Square and the old quarter, the hotel is located in a calm residencial área. Everything is perfect! The hotel has a very cosy and charming environment. We felt great there. The room is not enormous but enough for a couple. Beds are super confortable, the bathroom is modern with a high pressure shower. We had no balcony but other rooms have. The breakfast is top and with high variety, from fresh fruit, eggs and bacon, fresh vegetables, cooked vegetables, yogurt, granola, pancakes and some other itens. The breakfast room makes the experience even better with a indoor garden with a glass celling. But the most important and where About Sololaki makes the difference, is the staff, namely Elena, the hotel manager. Always available to help, support and make your stay a good experience.

I would like to make ONLY two suggestions: - Provide a mini bar in each Room (we realized that is prepared but it still missing). - To make the lobby as much cosy as the rest of the hotel

Comfortable bed and quiet room (3rd floor). Excellent staff that helped make reservations at restaurants and give suggestions of thing to see and do. Nice view from the patio. Ok breakfast, it wasn’t a big variety but what was there was tasty and nice filter coffee with different types of milk for people. It was near the top of the hill it was on which meant walking up hills to get there from city Center/main tourist area. Taxis are very inexpensive in Tbilisi so this wasn’t an issue for times when we did not want to walk.

Bathroom is small but it had an electric towel warmer which was excellent.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful! We were particularly impressed with the hotel's interior design and the amazing staff. The room was well-equipped with high-quality bath kits, robes, shampoo, and soap, which added a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delightful and exceeded our expectations. Given that we paid around around 40 euros with breakfast included, we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality and value for money. Although the location might seem unusual at first glance, it’s actually just a 5-7 minute walk to Freedom Square. We highly recommend this hotel and believe it offers great value for what you pay.

- few choices of food for breakfast, no other fruit except apples - the smell in the corridors - it is more of a three-star hotel than a four-star one
