The staff were wonderful. From checking in, Giorgi, was nothing but kind and helpful. When checking in I asked him where the train station is so I can purchase tickets to go to Batumi. He helped me book it right there so I did not have to go to the train station. As most reservations require a Georgian phone number. Additionally, I fractured my foot quite early into my holiday there and the staff checked on me and asked about my well-being. They all helped me by getting ice for my foot. Additionally, the breakfast and the staff working at the restaurant were also super friendly and kind. The food was really great. I enjoyed the a la carte breakfast choices along with the big spread of yogurts, vegetables, fruits, and breads. The croissants were so tasty! The rooms were clean and roomy and it was nice that there is an elevator to access the floors.

I love everything in the hotels, from the staff,cleanliness and quality of food, their hospitality and very accomodating staff, their just excellent in providing services, bonus with the location near to everywhere touristic spots, restaurants bars groceries pharmacy etc. They clean room daily and provide fresh towels, All of the staff are kind and accomodating our flight was chnage to late at. Night and we requested for a late check out in which no hesitation they grant to us for free. Ill never regret staying in tbis hotel and I will be back for sure. It the best for family and worht the proce of staying its even cheaper from other hotels If you are family. Family room is great as it has 2 interconnecting rooms.I love makmani hotel wish that thry flourished and will definetly recommend to my friends and otjer costumers.

This place has everything you could need for your stay in Tbilisi, it's close to the main attractions and city center. if you're a picky person like me and looking for a super clean and comfortable hotel do not hesitate to book at Makmani Hotel. I would also like to thank Demetre for being such a wonderful and kind host, he helped me with everything and made my stay more memorable, he is a truly humble guy.

I was a little bit disappointed about the backyard because I heard they had live music at the backyard every night but sadly it wasn't functioning anymore.

This is a awesome hotel! You would pay hundreds of euros/pounds a night for something like this in a western European hotel. A fabulous old building that has been carefully restored with a lovely large central courtyard (the serving of drinks and the background music is stopped around 10pm so residents are not disturbed after this time although the room windows are very well glazed and sealed anyhow). The reception is lovely and all the staff are delightful and very helpful and polite (if sitting when you speak to them they stand up which is very respectful). Our room was superb - large, airy and with all the facilities you would expect and a big clean modern bathroom. The bed was also large and very comfortable. Breakfast was really excellent with lovely fresh foods and plenty of it, and delicious omlets and eggs were cooked to order. It is located a few minutes walk from the main square (freedom square) which has a metro station, and it is an easy walk into the old town (about 10 minutes). All around are nice cafes and bars too. One of the best hotels I have stayed in and remarkable value for money (and I've stayed in hundreds around the world).

We asked for an early check-in, didn’t get it but hey, no big deal, it wasn’t promised anyway! Everything else? Absolutely fantastic. Everyone here is incredibly friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help it felt like staying with friends, not staff. The place is spotless, the Wi-Fi is lightning fast, and the restaurant does a solid job (don’t expect a royal feast for breakfast, but it’s tasty and enough to start your day happy). Huge shoutout to Anna, Sandro, Tata, Levan, and the lovely lady otel manager you’re all absolute gems. I’ll never forget you! Super central location, easy access to everything. Just one tiny complaint (and I'm saying this with love): could the wine maybe be just a bit cheaper? 🍷😄

A great location in the Old Town of Tbilisi, near a number of key tourist sites and an truly delicious buffet breakfast with a wide range of fresh fruit, cereals, croissants, yogurt and hot egg dishes to order. George, at reception, was outstanding and acted quickly when my son had a small accident.

Excellent location, 2 minutes from Liberty Square. This hotel is very nice, clean and cosy and serves one of the tasty breakfasts we've ever had in boutique style hotels (try shakshuka). Home made walnut cigar rolls were also mind-blowing. :) Our room was big and had all facilities we needed (including slippers, bathrobe, kettle, but there was no coffee maker as somebody mentioned before). A small chill out zone at inner yard is also very charming. The hotel staff were friendly enough and the hotel provides late check in/ check out. There are many interesting bars and restaurants just around the corner.

Very well located hotel in the old town, and with a car park very close by (20GEL/day, cash only). The room are nice and well furnished, in particular the first two floors which are part of the original building, whereas the top two floors are modern and have less character. Good breakfast.

Make sure you don't have an east-facing room on the 3rd or 4th floors as these get the sun first thing in the morning, and it 1/ is impossible to keep the light out, with sunshine directly on our pillow the first night, and 2/ the a/c is not strong enough to offset the sun, so even with a/c on the lowest setting (5C), it was impossible to get the temperature below 25C, and the windows do not open on the top two floors. The hotel did agree to change our room for the second night, though, and it was much better.

The property is a wonderfully restored period town house, superbly located in a street just to the rear of Freedom Square, making everything easily accessible from foot

The service by the staff was variable and often it was necessary to positive get up from our table and go to the bar to get a further cup of coffee etc. Similarly, it was very hitty missy whether they had even basic items e.g. basic items like milk to make a cappuccino or mineral water (no sparkling water for 5 days) and often given the menu to order food only to then be told they didn’t have the items shown. One night in the bar we positively ignored by the staff whether we wanted further drinks etc whilst waiting for our order including by the supervising manager and were considering leaving and going to eat elsewhere. The only bar staff member I would praise is the guy with the ponytail who was extremely knowledgeable about wines and cocktails and his country

The place is relatively new but has preserved the nice vibe of an old building. Very helpful staff, great location - quiet but literally minutes away on foot from the main square, shopping mall and the old town.

Breakfast service needs a bit of improvement. There's only one small coffee machine that isn't enough to serve people if the breakfast room is full, it's very slow and constantly gets jammed, runs out of coffee beans or something else happens. The staff serving breakfast was fantastic on the first day of the stay (there were 2 or 3 people) - polite, helpful and attentive, and absolutely below standard on the last day - the only young man working was visibly irritated, kept forgetting things, and overall looked like this was the last thing he wanted to do that day. Having at least one more person and a working coffee machine would have been an easy fix for that.
