Absolutely stunning building and beautifully decorated hotel with respect to the old house. Lovely breakfast and very helpful staff. The location is walking distance from one of the main Metro stations that brings you to Old Town easily and it has some very nice food places around. Bar looked stunning, but we did not try since it was still a bit quiet.

We moved rooms every night. Please do not accept the room next to the reception area, because it is not sound proof. After a long travel we woke up from everyone passing by and checking in or out. They gave us a lovely room after that, but we had to move again since that was booked for the next night. Although we saw most of the hotel :-) and everyone was helpful, this is not the nicest way to start a holiday

Although our room was very small, the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom had everything we needed. The hotel itself was delightful with its beautiful entrance way with the original frescoes and the skylight that poured the sum onto the stairway. The unusual touches like the performance art images projected on the wall outside our room gave a fun and funky vibe. The restaurant is elegant, but welcoming and we enjoyed a delicious dinner there. The location is terrific on one of Tblisis' most handsome boulevards, and just a 7-8 minute walk to the Metro which whisks you down to the old town. Having said that, there is plenty to see and enjoy in Chugureti, right in the neighbourhood.

The small circular bedise tables which had a wedge out of them, which looked interesting but were distinctly impractical.

Amazingly looking hotel right in the middle of the city. It has the old vibes but all the new facilities. Aesthetic pleasure guaranteed! The bed is comfortable, the room has a wonderful view, a fridge with supplies (paid), a tv. Breakfast was tremendous as well.

I can’t say if it was the mattress, the linen or something else but there was a lot of dust in the room. In the sunlight, I could see all the dust parts flying around. If I kicked the mattress, more dust arose. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay.

Very unassuming from the outside, but the interior has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Blending old and new, Unfound Door has created one of the most stunning hotels you'll ever stay in. The staff are attentive and courteous. The in-house restaurant has amazing food. The rooms are beautiful and functional. The bed looks squeezed into the nook in pictures, but it doesn't feel that way in person. It's a good use of space to maximise the size of the bathroom, which has a generously sized shower cubicle (overhead and handheld fixtures) and shelved storage for cosmetics, etc. There's no wardrobe, but there's a hanging rail over the console table, which was adequate for a couple of items. A wardrobe would have made the room much smaller, so I didn't mind this compromise. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Nothing.

One of my new favorite hotels! The staff were incredible – so kind, warm, and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner was so great that I skipped on other recommendations in Tbilisi. I couldn’t get enough of the building; the renovations are truly breathtaking. So well done. My room was cozy and comfortable, I loved the balcony view and all of the natural light. A special mention to Giorgi, the driver, he was so friendly and helpful. I truly loved every moment of my stay!

The only minor issue was hearing some noise from the corridor late at night, as a few guests were talking loudly. While the walls are thick, the doors aren’t quite as soundproof. It didn’t bother me since I wasn’t sleeping, but I could see how it might disturb someone trying to get an early night. Of course, this can also depend on the other guests staying at the hotel!

A beautifully restored monumental building seamlessly blending historic charm with a tasteful modern aesthetic. It offers all the amenities needed for a truly comfortable stay. Nestled away from the bustling main street, the location enhances its exclusive boutique ambiance. The cocktail bar on the lower level is exceptional, and the staff are consistently warm, friendly, and attentive. Without a doubt, we would choose to stay here again.

Given the building’s historical significance and unique location, direct car access to the entrance is limited and only possible with prior arrangement through reception. Additionally, there is no elevator, which may pose a challenge for some guests. While the breakfast is enjoyable, the menu could benefit from a wider selection. Unfortunately, the excellent cocktail bar is open only on weekends, which is a slight disappointment for weekday visitors.

Beautiful hotel, exquisite design of the rooms, vintage furniture, great location, friendly staff.

Though the hotel is beautiful and worth visiting for a night, there were a few inconveniences. There was a lot of noise coming from reception area and from the outside, you can hear almost every car from the main road. We are not light sleepers but we could not sleep properly through the night here. Plus, if someone was smoking outside, you could smell it from the room even if the windows are balcony doors were closed. Breakfast was good but for some reason orange/grapefruit juice was not included though it was featured on the menu.

The hotel is located in a beautiful refurbished mansion with wall frescoes and high ceiling. The rooms are spacious and luminous. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The first night there was a party in the bar in the hotel basement and the noise traveled, so they moved us to a bigger room away from the noise and didn’t adjust the rate for the rest of our stay. The staff helped us book with restaurant and sulfur bath recommendations and bookings.

The avenue where the hotel is located is a busy commercial street but the hotel building is a bit removed in an ally so it wasn’t a problem, just not what I expected from the hotel photos. There’s not much of a public area except for the restaurant and bar but it wasn’t a con for us.

Excellent lunch, wonderful service both at the restaurant, with the courteous assistants, and top compliments and grades to our concierge who kindly always went the extra mile to help in organizing our time in Tbilisi--including getting hard to find, last minute tickets to a memorable and famous puppet show and constantly making sure the venues we booked were actually open, and warning us promptly in case they weren't. So: noticeable extra care towards the patrons and guests on the hotel. Impressive. The location was marvellous, we loved the neighborhood, the little cafès like Entree, and the view from the top suite was idyllic. The atmosphere of the hotels was elegant and well curated, in its vintage allure, with touches of great taste in the decor and furniture.

Not much. Perhaps slightly better quality of coffee, but that's really subjective. Sometimes keys need a bit of work in opening the doors, but it's understandable if you've ever lived in a 19th century palazzo... Perhaps more help with the luggage, considering there's no elevator, could be nice. Also, there are no phones in the rooms, however the response is quite prompt on WhatsApp from the above-mentioned efficient and courteous concierge.

The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. Two days of being home and every day I wake up craving the hotel breakfast. We usually always get a buffet and I was skeptical about the ala carte option, but boy, did it deliver on taste, presentation, freshness of ingredients. Possibly the best breakfast I have ever eaten at a hotel I was staying at. The restaurant of the hotel was my favorite in all of Tbilisi. The staff was well informed, made lovely suggestions and I was never disappointed by anything served there. Exceptional. Location was great, too. I found it more to my liking than old Tbilisi. The area was very lovely but not overly busy with people, which I preferred. Amazing restaurants in the vicinity, decent shops and convenience stores, all located at a stone’s throw from the hotel. Staff constantly stayed in touch, and was very responsive to all queries on WhatsApp since the day we made our booking.

Even though I get the hotel is supposed to be a mix of old and new, I feel a few things need to be updated in order to make it a truly comfortable experience for the guests. Little changes can go a long way. For example, the windows don’t close in a way to block all the light so sunshine would get in every morning from the gaps. I think the window dressings can be adjusted to provide the guest with a more comfortable sleep. More disruptive though, was the constant sound of people walking on the floor above us. It would happen through all hours of the night and both my husband and I would wake up multiple times. Perhaps the building is old so it’s hard to mitigate this issue, but it certainly needs some attention.
