Fantastic location. I love that part of Berlin, around Savigny square. And the hotel situated in an old fashioned apartment block makes up in character what it may lack in modern facilities. It feels authentic and fitting for the locale. Also, very good value

I suspect the whole building shares a water tank and if the hot water is gone, its gone. So get your showers in early if you can't tolerate cold ones

The room was spartan but comfortable and clean. The staff was very responsive to requests. The breakfasts were excellent. The greatest strength is the superb location right on Kantstrasse.

The wifi was usually good but it would periodically drop the signal. This would happen repeatedly for a short time (maybe 10-20 minutes), then it would stabilize for a while (over an hour or two). It was unpredictable. The staff didn't know what was happening. It affected all my devices, so it wasn't a device issue. I think it was some kind of router problem. This was a crippling problem when it happened in the middle of a video conference.

Even though the warm water and heating was broken on my day of stay, they did compensate and made the best of the bad situation. But they were not at fault for the outage, so I’m glad about the room upgrade and free breakfast I got for the troubles. Very competent and friendly staff, i felt good staying there. Also left my hair dryer at home and they had a spare one, which was nice

The location of the place is the big plus . Public transportation connectivity is awesome and the hotel is located in very lively area a lot of good restaurants are near by .

The staff is not very welcoming. WiFi I. The hotel does not work( at least on 2nd floor where I Stayed ) .

It's very close to the publick transport stop, in a nice neighborhood. The view from the windows was amazing, the room has a nice historic look. Check in/checkout times are better than in other hotels.

There was no private toilet, just bathroom, and hard to figure it out in the booking description. Also, outside nightlife noises passed the double windows so we had to find ear plugs. But maybe it's just a location next to a bar, so if you a not light sleeper it's all good.

Room was large enough and clean, reach breakfast for 8 Euro. Perfect location, 2 minutes walk from train station.

Poor internet connection, in fact, no wifi signal in my room. Personal, in particular, the old lady not too kind: misfits the relationship between the guests and the host.

Very spacious room with bathroom and balcony, easily accommodating a group of four. Located in a beautiful area full of stores, cafes, bars, restaurants and bakeries. Easy to commute anywhere, trains and metro are just around the corner.

No electric kettle in the room

Had a disaster at the end where a childhood teddy was left behind but the woman in reception was more than helpful and hunted it down :)

The cleaning team would knock on our door very early in the morning trying to get in to clean and was disrupt sleep

The location was perfect. The staff was friendly. The room was clean, clean towels and toilettries were provided. The room was located from the courtyard side, so it was quiet.

The room was very small.

Perfect location 5 min from the S-bahn Savignyplatz witch makes it very easy to go to the Messe Berlin og Zoo or other places in Berlin. Very freindly lady in the reception and nice and spacy room.

There are some steps up to the reception, so make sure you are able to carry your suitcase.
