I stayed at Hotel Steglitz International for 1 night during Berlin Marathon. The location is not in the city centre, but is well served by various public transport options. I mainly used S1, which is just 200 metres away from the hotel. The room was quiet and was spotless clean. The staffs at the reception were both friendly and helpful. The hotel only serves breakfast, and its restaurant is not open for lunch and dinner. But it's not an issue for me, since there are plenty of restaurants nearby and some of them are good value. There is also a grocery store beside the hotel. Overall, I'm very pleased with the stay.

Some facilities are aging, but it doesn't concern me much.

I've stayed here often when in Berlin. This hotel is very well located near many transportation options. The breakfast is simply exceptional, one of the best I've had at a hotel and best in Germany. I will certainly continue to stay here whenever I'm in Berlin.

The one continuing problem with this place is the wifi. It ranges over the day from barely useable to unusable. Since I'm usually staying here on leisure, the benefits outweigh this significant disadvantage. They really though need to invest to upgrade their wifi infrastructure to become a perfect hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near the U- and S-Bahn station Rathaus Steglitz in southwest Berlin. The staff is friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and with several amenities. The breakfast buffet was decent and offered several options.

Part of the hotel faces Schloßstraße, which can be noisy at night, especially on weekends. The wifi quality in the room was abysmal and could only be accessed without issues in areas such as the restaurant or lobby.

The room and facilities in the room are splendid. The room has been very neat and clean. Regular room servicing has been excellent. The breakfast has been very well-planned and the staffs in the restaurant are very helpful.

Sometimes, especially in the late evening / night, the hotel internet has been a bit of choppy.. fluctuating continuously. This has not been always but for two nights out of 5 nights during my stay,

For my family the Air Condition was not efficient enough I am older and had lived in my life without AC at times and more used to be w/out it at times in my life The bedding was very uncomfortable due to it being lumpy (Pillows, and blankets) Mattress good

I am travelling quite a lot and think nowadays it is actually quite hard to find middle priced good hotels. Hotel Steglitz is maybe a bit old fashioned, but it is good in many ways. Most important thing for me was that Hotel Steglitz was clean and I think the level of cleaning was very very good. Unfortunately not so common nowadays. I hope the hotel will keep the level. The bathroom was also very well organised. Also not so common nowadays I think. Shelving, shower, body wash, towels etc. worked well. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Minibar was nice. Lightning was good and my room was quiet.

Maybe the location could be a bit better but then on the other hand the U-bahn station and bus stop are locating just next to hotel.

We appreciated so many things about this hotel! First, the position is very good because you have U-bahn, buses and S-bahn very close to the location. The hotel had very large halls and rooms. Everything is clean and the cleaning service changes towels on a daily basis, also they do a room cleaning. The beds are very comfortable. We all received Haribo on the beds upon arrival. You also have places to eat nearby. People are also welcoming and help you with information, if needed. The hotel is open 24/7.

We liked everything. I don't know how it is in summer since they don't have any air conditioning, as we saw, but for us the stay was perfect.

"Old-style" spacious room. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Excellently located with access to bus stop & S/U-bahn station for exploring other parts of Berlin.

Free WiFi signal wasn't always strong and/or stable. Breakfast was an additional 20 €.

The hotel is located close to restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. It's also close to local transportation such as buses, S-Bahn, and U-Bahn, which will take you around the city. The staff at the reception is available 24 hours and was very helpful. The cleaning staff came every day to clean the room and to offer clean towels.

I have stayed at the Hotel Steglitz International a number of times, largely because it is a good hotel in a location near where I once lived and still have friends. But it is a good location for visiting other locations in Berlin as well, as it is only a black from S-Bahn and an U-Bahn stations that will whisk you into the city (or out of it, for that matter). Plus, there are many shops, stores, and restaurants within walking distance. The staff also were very helpful, changing our room to one we preferred and providing extra towels quickly.

In the first room we were given, the windows would not tilt in from the top, but would only swing open (you need to understand European windows to get what I mean), but upon my request, we were given a room where the windows did work properly.
