The hotel was perfect for my business travel:400 m from the U-Bahn that took me straight to my destination in 25min; while it was also close to many shops, restaurants and 30 min walk from Tiergarten. The location is therefore excellent! It's value for money, with comfortable rooms and a good size bathroom (separate shower and toilet). Breakfast was outstanding, with good, proper coffee :-)

We had some days where they skipped servicing our room, even when we did have the "Service the Room" tag on the door. However, they rectified it when we reported it. The TV had no English channels, accept news channels. It would have been nice to have some English movie channel options available.

Excellent location near U-Bahn station Bismarckstraße and Deutsche Oper. Charlottenburg Palace is a short walk from the hotel. To explore To explore the city, take the subway to Zoologischer Garten and then take Bus 100 across town to visit the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and Berlin’s famous street Unter den Linden and the Museumsinsel. The breakfast room is enormous and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal. It includes just about everything you could want for breakfast. The helpful staff bring canisters of hot coffee upon request. Up Wilmersdorferstraße is the fine Italian restaurant Sole d’Oro and facing the hotel is another called Trattoria Nardino. Both have good menus at reasonable prices.

A safety bar in the shower would be welcome.

The staff were kind and knowledgeable about the local area and Berlin. There are many museum and sightseeing brochures in front of the lifts, and you are welcome to take them with you. Breakfast is served on level 1 of the restaurant and is a continental buffet style assortment, costing 18 EUR per person. The food was nice, but you also have a variety of cafes around the hotel as well. The hotel is in the same block as two grocery chains (Penny and Aldi), a short walk from the Bismarckstrasse U-Bahn station and the Wilma shopping centre. Our room's windows faced a parking lot, which was quiet for the length of our stay, except for one or two police/emergency services sirens passing by. Central heating kept the room nice and warm, and mattresses and pillows were soft. Thick blankets were provided. The room has a kettle and tea/coffee replenished by room service, but no microwave.

There is a separate "communal" iron on the ground floor for guest use. Irons are not provided for individual rooms. It was only a small inconvenience for me. The room we chose was a bit small for two people for an extended stay (my friend and I stayed for 10 days). However, you can easily select a larger room for your needs. Laundry services are available; a price sheet is located in the room's cupboard, but they are expensive. Otherwise excellent.

Great location. Close to restaurants, cafes, shops, transport, and attractions but also out of the way from the main city centre so not as busy or loud. Very friendly and helpful staff, and they were happy to help with any requests. Drinks provided in reception area and they also provided water in the room. Clean and tidy, didn’t want for anything in the room. Extremely comfy bed and pillows and the decor was nice and modern.

I really loved my stay here. The only improvement I can think of would be to have the room keys connected to the elevators so you can only access them with your room key.

Fabulous location with connections to public transportation. Well organized, efficient operation with excellent staff in all departments, especially breakfast and housekeeping . Well lit room with interesting view. Ingeniously divided bathroom area. Comfortable beds. Good price/value relationship. No frills hotel. Not a luxury place but that's OK. Very nice evening bar in the lobby.

For a two week stay we were given an exceedingly uncomfortable arm chair. Through open doors I could see that other rooms had much more comfortable looking chairs. Ours was almost useless.

I was at this hotel 2 times within 2 month (+/-) A highlight of this hotel is the Breakfast Buffet. Seriously! Lots of delicious stuff to select from and also large sitting area. The beds are nicely comfortable and the rooms are roomy. Lots of stores and eating places nearby open till late. There's also a large car park within 5min walking distance (German Opera Berlin) when the hotel car park is full.

Hotel car park was always full. Not a real problem since there's the German Opera Berlin car park within 5 minutes walking distance, but an advance-reservation for hotel guests only would be nice. Otherwise there are plenty of parking opportunities along the street (albeit somewhat confusing with the charge metering).

Bathroom was quite useful: the toilet, shower, and sink are separated and can be used by different people simultaneously. Breakfast was great, with an extremely rich buffet. There is a lobby with a bar. The staff was quite friendly and hardworking. Everything is maintained well and quite clean. The room was quite spacious. The hotel is not in the city center but is very close to a metro station, so transportation is quite easy. There are many restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and stores nearby.

There was no thermostat in the shower and hot water was extremely hot, which can even be dangerous. There was no fridge in the room. Tea bags and instant coffee in the room were sometimes not renewed during cleaning.

This time I got a renovated room, the carpet was replaced with wood tiles. The furniture was replaced, new and comfortable chairs. The walls were painted and the toilet were renovated. The air conditioner was excellent, cools well, important because the day after tomorrow it will be 31 degrees,-June. Varied breakfast.

For a double bed, you get 2 single blankets, the size is suitable for a child. The shower is tiny and narrow. It's a shame the curtain hasn't been replaced, you can see how the color on the side facing out has faded from the sun, a long time ago. And it's not clean either.

I really liked the room and the bed was very comfortable. The location was right next to the subway station so perfect for exploring the city, but still in a very quiet region of Berlin. Breakfast was very good.

My room was cleaned twice even though I didn't want it cleand. Whe you tuned of the light next to the door you couldn't turn on the light next to the bed, so I had to get up everytime before I went to sleep to turn the light of. Furthermore the electric outlet beneath the desk did bot work.

A very good hotel! We loved everything! Great location and quick check-in. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was well-designed, with the toilet separated. The bedding and pillows were incredible — very comfortable! The room and towels were spotless. High-quality toiletries were available in the shower. In the evening, the reception area also serves as a bar. We are very satisfied with our stay!

Some downsides: • The entrance to the room is a bit narrow, making it hard to turn around; • There is no fridge; • The courtyard parking has limited spaces, and we couldn’t get a spot; • Breakfast costs €17 per person, which seemed a bit expensive to us, so we decided not to order it.
