Is a traditional Berlin style stay, no ground floor and not really one for those who want a resident gym, sauna etc. But if you just need a room and breakfast at a decent price in city centre close to all public transport in a very clean if traditional environment it is great, Within few minutes walk of S-Bahn, U-Bahn, regional trains, bus routes etc in a vibrant neighbourhood and close to the K-damm, Zoo etc. Try for room at back overlooking the inner courtyard, surprisingly quiet given location. Staff friendly but leave you alone. Overall good value and would use again, no problem.

Can be hard to find when booking in after dark as is all on first floor upwards. Look for yellow illuminated sign "Hotel" otherwise nfi, and it is the door on immediate left with non-illuminated name plaque in left of doorway. Front door gets locked 1800,maybe earlier, onwards so have to ring the bell. If unsure of location, Nr 19, ask in any of the shops and hotels in the row across from the railway station to left of T K Max store.

extra good location and very polite staff

The parking place for car is very comfortable to have (just for 12 euro per night), but extremely hard to use., You need to have at least level 10 Quest Gamer to do that. As an example, to reach your parking place, you have to use the exit instead of entry. Advice: better try to use the train and taxi. On parking place reserved for hotel, the local children plays, and your car enjoyed all benefits of ball punches, and other bonuses. But, at least, next day you still find all wheels on place, and will be able to drive forward.

The staff at reception were great. We arrived very early in Berlin and were able to drop off our luggage at 8am at the hotel, the room wasn't free yet but when we came back in the evening the luggage had been left in our room. The hotel seems very family friendly, we saw lots of families with children staying at the same time as us. The building and rooms are quite old but clean. We had a shower in our room and the toilet in the corridor as mentioned on the advert. The breakfast is simple but good and more than sufficient. Price/quality ratio top!

I was very surprised with my single bedroom which looked exactly as on the picture including my own bathroom. I read many reviews about the noise, but my stay was very pleasant and didn't have any issue. Also I enjoyed breakfast in the morning with a good choise of fresh bread, juice, eggs, jams and everything else. For this price I would come back :) Thank you!

Breakfast was excellent with fresh options and good choices. Lovingly set out and prepared. Staff was very friendly. Excellent location for public transport. Many restaurants and food options in the neighbourhood.

Noise from the park across the street in the evening (some youth drunk and noisy). There was no washing machine at the hotel. We needed to find a public laundry ourselves without any recommendation from the hotel. It was quite a walk away, so it was not very convenient in this respect.

1. The hotel provides all the basics. 2. The nearby train station is just 2 minutes away from the hotel and 15 minutes away from berlin hbf by train. 3. The food quality of nearby restaurants are wonderful . No need to go far for good restaurants. 4. The staff members of the hotel are very helpful, amazing people. They try to help their level best. 5. Very neat and clean, comfortable hotel. 6. Enjoy staying in thw hotel.

1. The building has old vibes. 2. The breakfast is good with little options but they can provide more variety of food for breakfast. 3. Little bit noisy as the building is very old.

The location was very near to Messe Berlin and lots of Muslim Halal Restaurants around the area. There are also other shops within walking distance. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn was also walking distance which is accessible to Berlin Airport so you do not need to take a taxi which is much cheaper.

There are no lifts so it is not suitable if you plan to go shopping or you have heavy luggage.

A small hotel offering nice and clean rooms with high celings in the old style. My room facing the back side of the building was amazingly quiet. The breakfast room is also in old style with beautiful stucco and nicely decorated. Breakfast itself offers everything you could ask for except warm food and is super fresh. Hotel location directly on S-bahn.

Considering the price you pay it would be bad manners asking for anything more.

Very good location, just 5 minutes from the s train station Berlin Charlottenburg. Check in/ out was easy and fast. The staff were friendly. The room and common area were clean. The room had a bed, a small wardrobe, a chair and desk, a TV and shower. The breakfast offering was sufficient and delicious.

Only stairs, no lift. It's an old building, so the walls are thin and you can hear everything.

Great hotel. The breakfast was amazing. Loads of food and a great variety. Served from 7am to 10am. Large rooms with high ceilings and windows that open for plenty fresh air in hot weather. Luckily our room( no. 21) didn't get the hot sun so it stayed the perfect temperature even thought it was 27° outside one evening. Quite rooms and friendly staff. Check out just involved handing over your key at the desk. Fantastic location too right bedside Charlottenberg train station. Amazing value overall.

They only fault was the bathroom in our room had a very bad step up into it. Unfortunately the sign on the door to 'watch your step' was only in German not English as well so we had a couple of trips before we realised.
