The hotel is very well located, walking distance to Potsdamerplatz which is a nice hotspot in town. There is a Lidl market ver close and also S bahn stop is very close. The rooms were clean, design was sweet, the staff was helpful. The room had a bathtub, kids loved it!

The elevators are too slow and the hotel doesn't have a service elevator, sometimes it takes so long to get into the elevator and it sometimes makes you feel frustrated.

- Great central location next to many attractions and plentiful public transport links. - Reception staff and bar staff very knowledgeable, friendly and perfectly spoken English. - Rooms were big and well appointed. Mini kitchen facility great, even if it is just a fridge, microwave and kettle. - Showers very good. - Would definitely stay here again

- Elevators can be slow and unpredictable. Was easier to use the stairs most of the time. - Sofa bed not the most comfortable but fine for short stays. - Rooms could be better insulated, can hear noisy neighbours in the evenings. - Where our room was overlooked the back of the hotel, where the recycling bins were and on numerous nights people decided to do glass recycling up until midnight. - Air conditioning not working at time of this review and room was quite humid. Don’t think it’d be pleasant in summer. - Room telephones out of order at the minute too.

The location was good. It was opposite the station Anhalter Bahnhof which has direct transportation to the center. However ıf you like walking you can also walk to many places just like we did. The staff were helpful. We arrived a bit early but had a quick check in and they gave us our room without making us wait. The room was warm and clean. It was quite big and had everything we needed.

The toilet might have been a bit cleaner. We tried to turn on the heater at night but it gives cold and warm air at the same time so it makes the room colder. So we kept it off all the time and it was better. There was a sign saying "Go green skip the clean" , we hang it out our door a lot before the mentioned time, but when we returned our room we saw that nobody cared about it. It is not a big deal but we were there only for 2 days so we really didnt need new towels cleaning etc.

Although the hotel room was on the smaller side, it was comfortable and well-suited for a family stay, especially with the separate toilet and bath facilities. The hotel was clean, and the staff demonstrated a genuinely hospitable attitude, which added to the pleasant experience. The best thing about the hotel is its location. Most of the historical sites that tourists typically wish to visit are within walking distance in every direction. The metro station is located right in front of the hotel, making it incredibly convenient. Undoubtedly, the location is excellent.

The air conditioning was not working due to a technical issue, and unfortunately, it remained unresolved throughout our stay until checkout. As compensation for having to stay without a working A/C during the hot daytime, we were offered just an ice candy — which was quite surprising and rather disappointing. The most concerning issue was the restaurant. Its size is far too small to accommodate all the guests staying at the hotel. Each morning, there was a long queue for breakfast, with limited seating available. Additionally, food items were often consumed quickly and not replenished in time.

Perfect location and room size.

We arrived around noon and check in was at 3pm. We asked if the room was available and the reception guy said no. When we asked if he could notify us when the room was ready he bluntly said no!!

Spacious room. Didn't feel as if we were crowded. Room dividing curtains Plenty of storage for clothes and cases Separate toilet, always handy when you have kids and need a shower! Kitchen area was good. Decent sized kettle and fridge Room cleaned daily if required Plenty of towels Bath and separate shower with plenty of Rituals shower supplies. Great location, S bann at the bottom of the street and U bann (which we used the most) 10 min walk away. Lots of restaurants in the area and a lidl for room supplies just around the corner. Staff were very helpful when needed.

Only two cups for four people and no spoons for coffee making though when asked they did provide some spoons. No where to hang used towels so that they could be reused. Towels were replaced daily but I would have been happy to reuse if there had been a towel rack in the bathroom.

We got a different hotel at first but transferred to this one because of the location. It was indeed the best choice we made. The room size, plus the separate bath and shower room and the toilet. It is just a rare gem!

Although we did not avail of the breakfast because there are many other choices outside the hotel, when we go out in the morning, the line to the breakfast hall was extremely long that at times, extends to the doors. I'm not sure if the seating area is enough for the guests.

Perfect location, close to city center and all main attractions. Spacious room with all needed inside.

For some reason, the cleaners entered the room without knocking every morning, extremely early. Which seemed out of place.

Excellent, spacy room with a lovely view; great bathroom with separate bath and shower; separate toilet. Spacy and comfy beds, everything clean. Excellent curtains to darken the room.

The advertised kitchenette did not really exist, but was just a separate microwave and a watercooker for instant coffee and tea. No options to cook a meal or prepare your bread without plates, cutlery, cups, bowls, whatever cooking utensils; these were all missing.

..when you think of something being clean, well the room that we stayed in was 100 times cleaner. I can't describe the level of cleanless ..it was perfect, just perfect! +.+ The Hotel is doing a great job 👏 We had a single room for three adults, have to say that even the third bad was perfect! The sofa looked like brand new 👏 The bed sheets, white and fresh and perfectly ironed...+.+ The pillows ..you get the two of them with different softenes so you can choose the one you like 😊 Going to sleep was so enjoyable 😁 Do I have to mention that we had a big bathtub and a shower in the beathroom 🛁👏😍 Location perfect, close to everything. Novotel you rock! 😎

The price of the breakfast 🤣 22euros per person was tooo muuch for us, BUT... a Lidl was just around the corner and other great bakeries soo no problem there 😊
