The staff is very friendly, the room was great, de service fantastic. We had a suite and it was spacious. Nice couch, comfortable chairs and the bed in the other room wasn't too soft. When we came back from exploring, the room was adjusted by the staff. Clothing folded, coasters under a bottle of wine, curtains opened or closed (depending the time of day). It made us feel that they really kept an eye out for your comfort.

We had a suite, but the balcony was surrounded too high to enjoy the view. Our suite was on the third floor en had a few steps up in de hall. The carpet is striped en different directions and the edge of the steps were not too obvious. Maybe a marker at each step would help?

Exceptionally placed hotel in Berlin. Very well appointed with all facilities you'd expect for a 5-star hotel. THE BEST breakfast by far we had in Germany. Had the benefit of being able to use the Rooftop Bar with spectacular views across Berlin. Well appointed bathroom including a massive bath. Comfortable beds.

Nothing really - except because of its reputation, we had an italian 'delegation' arrive on our second day which prevented any taxis being able to pull up to the hotel and we were surrounded by security for most of the time we were there. Unfortunate timing meant we also coincided with the Berlin Marathon which isolated the hotel completely and were were lucky at all to be able to get to the train station to continue our journey. Could have been better communicated and organised for guests to be able to move around.

attitude of some employees there was no place to have a coffee and/or welcome your guests at certain times (restaurant, bar, roof all are closed) the lounge is closed some times and i could not make up when its closed (and no service anyhow)

Great location - walkable to many of the iconic attractions in the part that was East Berlin. Great for museum lovers in particular as museum island is literally 5 min walk away. The only reason it did not get 10 from me was due to the in room dininng (which by no means is cheap) served us Caesar salad where the lettuce wasn’t washed properly and there was no dressing. Only small bleep in an otherwise excellent hotel.

There were issues at breakfast involving the ordering system. Asking for a tea was complicated and staff often forgot to bring it to our table. Breakfast is continental style and definitely not worth over €35.00.

This is the best location in Berlin -- central to everything -- yet it is still very peaceful, elegant, and feels anything but hectic. The staff is outstanding and professional, and happy to help with restaurant or outing suggestions. The rooftop bar is second to none! It is the only place I will stay in Berlin.

The rooms vary. Last summer I had a spectacular room with a glimpse of the Brandenburg Gate statue. This time, my room was more modest with no view, but it was still very comfortable, if not a bit small. The bathrooms in both are spacious and excellent.

Great hotel. Beautiful building & interior designs. GREAT location. Staff is very professional & friendly. Concierge is great - they got me all the reservations I asked for. Love the breakfast. Fantastic roof terrace.

Great, central location very close to the museums, Kudamm and Brandenburg Gate, very spacious and comfortable room, well stocked bar with table service. Service throughout my short stay was excellent and the breakfast was excellent. Tram stops nearby, so everywhere was in easy reach.

Very dark hotel, but elegant. Feather pillows were missing, double sink in bathroom missing for the large bathroom and room.

The service, atmosphere, facilities, room and food were amazing. The attention to detail and cleanliness is top class.
