I moved to this hotel after my after initial hotel choice was a complete dud. I got a great deal on the junior suite. Very big suite, comfortable sized lounge room, great closet space and huge bathroom. Perfect for a week long stay. The Wellness Center is great. Cleaning and evening roll down service were excellent. Although they are 'very efficient and fast' so you need to put out your do not disturb sign out when you want privacy. The morning breakfast was very good. I highly recommend including breakfast in your stay as there are very limited food options around the hotel. The outside back patio is also nice for afternoon or early evening drinks. Overall a great stay.

The all-day and dinner options are very average. The first night they served me one menu option twice. Both were inedible and/or served stone cold. The second choice was prepared... same issue. I ended up with chips the first night after 45 minutes... The server was wonderful. I felt sorry for him. At the same time the hotel should be able to deliver standard food fare consistently. Food is not the hotel's strong point. The gym is so-so... it could use more free weights.

Everything was super good: - very friendly and professional staff - very clean and quiet room (we literally heard nothing, no cars, no neighbours, no hallway noise) - very comfy bed - spa area is located on the top floor, open until 11pm (sauna is heating at least until 11) and is very nice as well, well equipped, clean, etc. - well equipped gym 24/7 - location is awesome: considering Berlin is huge, you can reach almost everything within 40 mins (which is very good). Most and especially popular places can be reached within 10-30 mins. - price for value is exceptionally good. At least our deal was amazing We’ve had a very pleasant stay at SANA, and we will definitely come back.

- nothing to complain about

Great hotel, spacious modern rooms, excellent food, nice staff. The pool and the gym are good as well (very modern gum equipment, sauna and steam bath, great views of the city for relaxing). The location is good (although a little off the beaten path if you're in town for tourism) -- there are some great restaurants in the area (including the outstanding Lebanese across the street:)) and everything is pretty close by via public or bike or walking. The hotel has parking available, and pretty much every convenience you would expert from a hotel.

I do not recommend the hotel bikes (they are really heavy and slow), but there are public bikes and scooters everywhere, those are much better if you want to enjoy the biking lifestyle of Berlin :) This is not the hotel's fault, most hotels have these extremely heavy bikes, I'm not sure for what reason. The only actual negative thing I can mention is that the hotel garden and winter garden, which are nice places to hang out and have coffee, were rented out to private events 2 out of the 3 days we were there -- this is, again, understandable but it would have been nice to use these areas more. Otherwise, nothing much to mention, great hotel!

Wonderful facility and great amazing stuff. The room was amazing, and gladly the bed came with 3 pillows of different size and texture.

A little bit disappointed with the swimming pool, even if I do understand that obviously families come with kids, it made it impossible to go during the day for a relaxing time since it was filled with screaming and running around and splashes. I know that they provide an adult only time after 8 PM but it felt quite restrictive making us not go to the facility at all.

I have been more than once to this hotel. Very nicely designed and styled, I always appreciate the size and design of the room and common areas. Attentive and welcoming staff, both at the reception and in the breakfast room. Big stylish room and bathroom, my room had a bath tub. Many wardrobes and drawers, to store everything away from your sight, and allowing to keep everything in good shape. Nice coffee/tea machine in room. Nice pool with sauna and Turkish bath (re-designed and refurbished since a few years ago), on top floor with view of the city. Roomy gym with treadmills, cardio machines and basic body building gear. High-quality and abundant breakfast, really a plus. You can have it also in the inner patio. The location is also a major plus in my view, central yet kind of secluded from the crowds. Parking options on the street are abundant in the high-quality residential district around (no fee at night). Tons of restaurants, services, malls, connections, attractions, etc. in the area. Has been and will be my reference place for Berlin.

No significant cons. The gym was relocated from its original position to a much better and roomier one, however the fittings are clearly provisional. Gym gear may be improved with just a few little additions, and installing a shock-absorbing pavement is highly recommended (releasing weights will end up damaging the existing tiles, and the noise of steps landing on the treadmills is currently very intense). The door for communicating with the adjoining room was shut, but I could hear too much of the neighbor guests' conversation.

It was well located with eateries across the street and also a restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast had such a great selection of food and the staff were really attentive. Even loaned us a couple of adapters (our luggage was delayed) to charge our phones etc. we had a family room which was two rooms with an adjoining door and they worked well for us.

The towels could do with a refresh as some felt somewhat threadbare. Although there is a pool, it is pretty small. The a/c could sometimes run a little warm during the night and one of the windows in our room was broken.

we had an accident in the suite the sliding door stop was broken and it smashed my partners 3 fingers , I run down to the lobby to get ice since fingers were already blue and there was bleeding, the African lady behind the bar refused to take action saying she was making drinks for a couple and I had to wait for her to finish the cocktails before I get ice for broken finger and when I insisted she still refused and I had to wait for her to finish in order to get the ice , this in my book is unacceptable behavior when you have an emergency like this you drop whatever your making and get the bloody ice in my opinion she should not work in hospitality at all. not my first stay at sana hotel but I think this will be the last

The lobby was perfectly dressed for Christmas and made walking in feel magical. The 2-bedroom apartment had everything we needed and the shower was wonderfully hot and easily changed from light flow to full pressure. The beds and sofas were comfy. There is a lovely covered outdoor area which is inviting with snuggly sofas and chairs, blankets and two different types of outdoor heaters. The staff were helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. The ambience is charming and relaxing.

There was a terrible smell in the corridor, the swimming pool area was too chilly, and the tv’s wouldn’t cast. The food in the restaurant was enjoyable, but a bit pricey for what it was.

location was excellent for the Christmas market at the Wilhelm church. also the zoo is walking distance. the pool is nice, small but nice and the sauna was good. The shower in the room was amazing, best shower I've ever had.

the steam room wasn't open during our stay and when we where going to the pool we didn't have robes or slippers in our room. we where told at reception that we might get them the night we requested them but couldn't guarantee it, we went without and just wore shorts etc and when we came back to the room the robes had been delivered, bit late.

April 2025

This hotel went above and beyond to help us celebrate my partners 30th birthday. They upgraded us to a junior suite and arranged with me beforehand to set up a birthday treat of champagne, balloons and a dessert. The room was cleaned spotlessly everyday, the food in the restaurant was top quality for a very good price and the location of the hotel was great. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was also excellent with a great variety of hot and cold options along with great drink options.

The room could get very stuffy and hot during the night and we stayed end of March-beginning of April when it has not been that hot outside so something to bear in mind in the summer. I couldn’t work out how to cool down the room with the AC, particularly the toilet, and it made it quite uncomfortable if you woke up easily during the night.
