The studio was modern, clean, and well equipped. The small kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, fridge, and microwave, which made it very convenient. The bed was comfortable, and overall the space felt well designed. Downstairs there is a nice bar where you can have breakfast, lunch, or even work on your laptop, and it was also great to be able to refill fresh filtered water to take back to the room. The location is excellent, right outside Karlshorst train station, which made getting around Berlin very easy.

On the downside, I had asked both via email and through Booking about the washing machine, but never received a reply. Eventually, I found it myself in the basement. Also, there was a blue light under the kitchen that kept blinking during the night, which disturbed my sleep until I covered it with a plaster (room 417).

The hotel's location was excellent, especially in terms of access to public transportation. It's located right across from the S3 suburban train line, in a charming neighborhood (Karlshorst), with convenient stores nearby such as Penny, Biomarkt, and Rossmann. There's a cafe in the building, and döner shops, restaurants, and other cafes are all within walking distance. There's also a small park nearby, and once a month there's an antique market held in the area. It's easy to get to the city center and also very convenient to reach the airport. The room was modern and well-organized, with good lighting and decent furniture. There was a small table and chair, and everything was clean. The room included a mini-fridge and a washing machine, which was very practical for our week-long stay. Housekeeping came once during the 7 days, which we found sufficient. Basic kitchen utensils and a capsule coffee machine were provided. In the lobby, there was a water dispenser where we could refill our bottles, which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately, there were a few downsides. In the bathroom, water was leaking from the bottom of the shower cabin, and the water pressure in the shower was quite low. Although the bathroom had a nice design, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. The capsule coffee machine was functional, but we think a French press would have been a better and more versatile alternative. The bed felt like a large single or small double—it was a bit tight for two people. Also, despite the hotel having many rooms, there was only one elevator, which wasn’t a major issue but it was a bit slow and sometimes involved a wait.

It was comfortable stay, its quite a good place with everything available nearby. I could cook at room for most of my stay.

Cleaning of the room should have been done more frequently. Only once in 7 days towards the end of stay.

A very interesting hotel concept, with a charming and fairly comfortable studio that has everything one needs for a few days’ stay. It's also great that the hotel includes a bar or snack bar, as well as a grocery store. The train station is only about 50 meters away, and the tram stops right in front of the hotel.

Perhaps I really was in Berlin during the hottest days of summer, but the room got so warm in the afternoon that it became unbearably hot and very difficult to sleep. You can’t keep the window open either, as the building is located on a very busy avenue with trams rattling by. Considering it’s practically a new building, I was a bit surprised that there was no air conditioning — although I have to admit I didn’t pay attention to that when booking. Another thing that bothered me was the lack of luggage storage. Since my flight wasn’t until 9:30 p.m., I had to leave my belongings unattended in the lobby, where the reception desk is located — but it only operates a few hours a day.

I had a fantastic experience at this place! The atmosphere was warm with a beautifully designed interior that made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The attention to detail was evident, and I truly appreciated the overall quality. It was a relaxing and pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Location for public transport, cafe, supermarket, bakery, take away, restaurants, local shops. Ease of check in with your name or pin code. Access to cleaning cupboard to refresh supplies. Ability to cook in the apartment. Friendly staff. The neighbourhood is good. I would recommend this and will return.

This is being picky as it was a good place to stay though it was hot in the rooms and we can't have the windows open as the trains run through the night so noisy . However there is a fan in the room. Double room needs another seat or one of you sits on the bench on a cushion, fine if you don't suffer from a bad back. Another pillow would be good.

The apartment is easy to get to from the nearby train station (S-bahn), it neat and has the promised amenities. It was clean and the location is comfortable. Having a convenient store in the same building is a bonus. Public transportation very accessible. I've never had to encode my own room key-cards, but the process was rather straightforward to the technically inclined.

When the window was open there was a lot of street noise, and it was too warm to sleep with the window closed. We resorted to earplugs. It wasn't train noise, mostly street noises.

A lovely place at a few steps from the Karlshorst station, Berlin. Extremely comfartable, with everything you need to enjoy a few days of work, rest or sightseeing in the southeast of the city. (I visited the Müggelsee, which was really beautiful, also in the winter). Each time I go to this part of Berlin, I want to come back here. You can cook, study or work comfartably in your room, walk around in the nice area or do shoppings in front of the hotel in a nice organic shop. Parking your car for free is also possible in one of the streets nearby, and public transport is just in front of the door.

If you like to have a little chat at the reception, you will be disappointed, because nobody is there to help you. Checkin is with codes and selfservice. It works well.

Location with S-Bahn station around the corner, cleanliness of the room, the kitchen equipment, stable and fast WiFi, nice and safe surrounding with supermarkets, and many places to eat. The self check-in with provided barcode after online registration is simple and fast. I recommend to read about hotel instructions, rules and provided facilities on hotel website for Karlshorst branch that provides good information on what you can and cannot get, it can save many dissappointments and unpleasantness during the stay. For example, there is a room on each floor that can be opened by your room key that has some basic supplies that you might need during the stay, especially on weekends when the front desk is not populated by hotel staff. Our room was facing the street. The street noise/closed windows balance was already mentioned several times in other reviews and it is correct. Maybe the rooms facing the backyard have less noise, but have no city view. The A/C definitely is missing during hot summer months, however during our stay in September, there were several days with 25-27 degC in the middle of the day. If you come back to hotel late afternoong after exploring the city, the evenings were more pleasant and there was no need for A/C. We did not use the heating, so I do not know how and if it is working

There is no luggage storage service that definitely could upgrade the hotel The shower water pressure in our room was very weak In shower cabin, there is no any shelf to put your own bathing stuff There is a gap between the shower door and the cabin floor and water comes out, you need to put a towel to absorb the water. The fan is not efficient, makes more noise than actual air circulation The double bad is a little bit small, but comfortable enough. But these are small drawbacks comparing with many advantages of this hotel

The location was very convenient, and the facilities inside the room were beyond my expectations. I really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, it had everything we needed to cook our meals, and the drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. I also liked that it was stocked with things like washing up liquid. The bed was comfortable, and the table was large enough for two people to eat from.

The lights with stone shades above the table were almost useless: no light came from them other than a dim glow that slightly illuminated the table, presumably because nothing could penetrate through the opaque material. They were, however, annoyingly located at a low height above the table, meaning whoever was sitting near the lower one would keep banging their head on the solid stone lampshade each time they stood up from the table. I think higher-hanging lights with some kind of translucent shade would be far more useful, and perhaps if they had a brighter bulb installed. This would also be less of a hazard for people's heads.
