Well located within an easy walk of the centre, Christmas Market and train station. Very clean and well presented hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was a very generous size with plenty of space. Parking opposite the hotel that is inexpensive at 6 euros a day although you have to find a space.

Breakfast....don't bother! 20 euros per person for a few hot plates, some cereals meats and cheeses. Very "school dinners". Very over priced and not value for money. Avoid it and go into the centre where there are plenty of options from 9am. Parking ...Beware. There are two car parks very close by and both listed on the hotel website. However, one is 25 euros a day and one is 6 euros per day! The cheaper is the closer one, called City Parking.

The location of this hotel is brilliant for a city break (short walk from the train station) and it's quiet at night. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Everything was beautifully presented. The breakfast was served with waiting staff and the buffet style food was truly delicious, high quality food. This hotel has a unique character being a historic building in its former days.The blend of old and new architecture is tastefully done to give the WOW factor! Beautifully landscaped gardens give a tranquil feel and are perfect for a stroll. Bonn itself is a smaller scale City with less hustle and bustle of others around the world. Overall, this has been one of our favourite holidays and we will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The facilities were very comfortable, especially the foyer and the superior deluxe room. The staff was very nice and helpful. The building is very inside and equipped with a pool, church and other things. The reception also allowed us to stay in the same room after extending our stay for another night, despite another booking action.

I forgot to book breakfast for the first booking action (3 nights). The fee for booking breakfast in post was ridiculous for what was offered - 20 Euro per Person for a neat, but still very simple buffet, instead of 4.50 Euro per Person if I had not accidentally chosen the wront option. That is a 3.5 fold increase of the price and really not nice. I am aware that the price is communicated on booking.com, but the value does not justify the high price.

Both the bathroom and room itself were spacious and very comfortable. There was generous storage space in both. They even included a bathrobe and slippers! There was a balcony and a lounge chair with light for reading. It was lovely!

The WIFI cut out frequently, so I constantly had to reenter my room number and name. The hairdryer was also very old, though it still worked well.

Stayed in Bonn to go to the Anuga show, in Cologne (Cologne is just impossible during the Anuga). The Collegium Leonium is a residence for older people with an area working as hotel It's obviously very quiet, rooms are confortable (also the social areas,( although I spent almost no time there). What was important for me was to be close to the train station and it's just a short walk away - very convenient. It's also not far away from the city centre or the river.

The only thing I will mention is that rooms are cleaned just once every two days. This was not a problem for me - I was there just to sleep- but may be important for some travelers and I don't recall it being mentioned when I made the reservation (maybe it was, I haven't seen it).

The location of the hotel was fantastic, walking distance from either Stadthaus or Hbf (though at the time of our visit the Hbf was closed for construction work). The room was spacious, and the heated pool is a huge bonus. Bathrobes and slippers are available upon request. One thing to note is that as this hotel is part retirement home and part hotel, it is very quiet and all the facilities were clean and disability-oriented (hand rail, lift, well-heated rooms etc.), which suit the needs of families with young children as well. The restaurant was on the higher end price-wise, otherwise very good food and wine.

If there is one thing I have to complain about, is that there is no fridge in the room.

The older part of the building was beautiful and the hotel location was central yet not on a noisy street. It was a very quiet stay and the hotel had many facilities, such as a pool, a garden, etc. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were incredibly spacious (at least for one person) and the front desk was very pleasant, going out of their way to help me.

Some of the rooms were located very far from the entrance and it was easy to get lost in the corridors which all look the same. Additionally, the terrace connects several rooms and it felt slightly unsafe - dividers would have been appreciated. The pillows had a little too square and flat, and the tv was all in german - I could not change the language nor the subtitles. Nevertheless, I had a very nice stay!

The room was spacious and the location, while not at the heart of the city center, is still relativity a short walking distance from it. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room is cleaned only every 48 hours, which did not meet my expectation for this prices range and my type of hotel. The bed was sort of ok but not perfectly comfortable.

April 2023. Nice sized room with kitchenette. Our room appeared to have previously been part of the retirement home. Wondering if they just carved off a wing of retirement home rooms and converted them to hotel rooms. Overall we enjoyed the quiet location that was still within easy walking distance of the central Bonn area. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of good quality choices. Public parking deck across the street that was very convenient and reasonably priced.

Wifi was spotty at first and then just didn't seem to work. Would consistently get disconnected after a few minutes, lose signal, etc... This was with 2 different iPhones, 2 different iPads and our travel laptop. Front desk tried to help us but we never were able to get it working properly. Eventually purchased a cheap German SIM plan and tethered off of that phone for our internet. The wifi did seem to work perfectly in the lobby and dining areas, just seemed like the wifi signal didn't work down our wing.

Nice hotel in a nice location, interesting premise with the elderly residents but no issues on either side. Breakfast was nice with good options. Staff all very pleasant. Room, balcony and bed all nice.

Was very hot in the evening as per previous reviews. Toilet had a bit of a smell and no ventilation. Balcony was nice but no separation from other rooms gives a slight security concern.
