the breakfast was good - lots of choice and options. Do not think you could order anything special but was really no need to. The room was very clean, the water was in glass bottles, the staff were to a person friendly and helpful - bilingual (at least and probably more). This is a good place to stay in the center of Bonn - close to public transit and all shopping as well.

the hallway could be a little noisy as was tile floors -but it was always short and temporary. On Sunday my room was not cleaned and I noticed an announcement in the elevator that you need to request your room be cleaned. I did so on Monday and was told it would be cleaned every day and it was. the bed was comfortable, the wifi worked - it is a very welll located hotel - not fancy but very well suited for a business or personal trip.

Location is great, right on the market square, where there is a market everyday. The historical townhouse is closeby. There is a parking garage closeby. One can walk to stores and restaurants, or take the car to do something outside the city. Hotel staff are friendly. If we need something, like new towels or extra toilet paper, it's taken care of. It's quite safe. We forgot our key on the door and were not bothered at all.

The hotel is outdated. Ventilation is not so good, air gets stale in the room. There was no water kettle in the room, until we knew that we could requst one from the reception.

The single room was very spacious, with a good desk area and extra chair. The hotel was clean and very well located with plenty of restaurants close by. Within walking distance of main train station and area was safe.

There was a strange smell from the bathroom, but as I was out most of the day it didn't bother me. Breakfast options were limited compared to other hotels I've been to e.g only scrambled/boiled eggs as hot breakfast.

The outdated German door key system. Would have preferred card keys where each family member could have their own key. It works fine to leave the key at the front desk, but it’s a little it personal for the desk manager to know who is in/out of the room and when. It’s more a culture barrier for Americans, and it works out fine so maybe I should learn to appreciate the cultural difference.

Excellent location. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was quirky but would 100% stay again.

Not a negative just a bit weird - had to enter the hotel room through the shower and the toilet which don’t have proper doors on them. Shower had slightly low water pressure but still ok. Outdated decor but adds to the charm of the hotel and its history.

Professional and helpful staff, amazing locationon historic building with beautiful platz centre of the city and 7 minute walk to the train station.lively and spacious room with balcony viewing the platz.Have been staying hthere for few years and looking forward to go back when travelling.

For me was perfect as the hotel is willing to accept any requirement from the guest to adapt.

The location at this hotel is fantastic. It is the 3rd time i have stayed there. i went with 3 friends and we had 2 single rooms and a double. All were well equipt with a fridge and a fan - we needed to ask for a kettle but i knew that before we went so was not a problem. My single room was fantastic with a small balcony over looking the market square - but was noisy when they were setting up. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we were running ParkRun at 09:00hrs on the Saturday morning. It was a very hot weekend and the rooms could have done with aircon.

Aircon would have been nice but fans were provided. It is an old building and I can see why it doesn't have it. One of the rooms ran out of toilet paper!

The window view over one of the main squares next to Rathaus costs all the money you pay for it. Located in the heart of the city and close proximity to the main railway station and any other transport you need, the hotel has a rich history spanning over several centuries. What a pleasure it was to stay there and enjoy all the interior!

Location is perfect, historic building, room is great, beds are very comfortable, staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall I really enjoyed my stay there.

No parking. And no car can drive to the street as it is in the heart of the central passage. WiFi wasn’t working on our floor but that wasn’t a big deal and the staff offered to change our room. City Tax is high in the centre.

Location - it is in the very center, on one of the city's busiest squares, which, of course, means constant buzzing in your room. Still, I liked it. Staff - super friendly and helpful.

The biggest discomfort for me was the absence of AC in my room, but the hotel informed me on this in advance, and I actually accepted it. So, no complaints :)
